"Uh... I don't actually know a lot about this city. I've never been here after all." said Eve as she sheepishly scratched the back of her head with one hand whilst the other held onto her helmet.

Ratsel and Bullet follow to see everybody outside the Warhammer.

Archimedes took the lift up. "There aren't any guards here. They have freaking cannons in case of air raids but no guards at the elevators. This security sucks. What would happen if a terrorist came in here with a bomb" He said walking through the city

Blondie stayed in the ship for now.

Royce went outside, helped healed Val and Fen, then went into the ship.

"Well, you do live on this planet. I need to find other cities, villages, hamlets, or other groups of people I can collect to bring in as a second force. You guys will be our infiltration team, gathering intelligence, harassing their security force, trying to find a way to take down that shield. That way, when I arrive with people to oppose the new regime, we don't have to go through multiple killing fields. You follow?"

Bryce retracts the wings, deciding that they hadn't been spotted and followed. He nods at what Zachariah is saying, but says "We might need to find a map. Unless David finished those micro sats, and you're carrying some? Would've been helpful to the Marxists."

Zachariah rummaged through a bin, and yanked out a small sphere. "Damn right he did. This, and the BFG, are the main reasons I was the one making the shipment."

Rozalin frowned after seeing that she wasn't able to get Fenrich capable of standing again. "At least you have a positive outlook on things. That aspect is to be lauded." She said to Val. "What should our next action be?"

Yukimaru stood by and listened to Zach. [color=01B7FF]"So we're to use guerrilla warfare then, zam? That I can do, zam."[/color] She looked over at the city and said, [color=01B7FF]"Only, how do we get in, zam?"[/color]

 

[Furioso]

"That would be up to you. It appears everyone is heading into the city through those tubes over there, but whether or not you follow is up to you. As for me, I should keep an eye on Fenrich while he heals. Your assistance should at least hasten the process."

OoC: @Outis, gonna have to retcon Royce healing my characters, as that's gonna be my excuse to go to sleep in a bit

"I say we rest up first, and then sneak in tomorrow. That's the best course of action. Even I'm not willing to take on an entire city on alone."
Especially with all things considered... Still I always have my trump card if things go THAT bad.
Majeh starts to walk back to the War Hammer. Though it shouldn't be a trump card. Damn that King! It's like he wants life to be more difficult than it has to be. He looks a little agitated as he returns to the ship. Once inside he finds a place to rest and closes his eye, to sleep.

OoC: I'd actually suggest we all go to bed. There's no event that won't be put in stasis at this point, anyway.

Bullet and Ratsel observe the structure ahead as they sigh and walk back inside the ship to rest.

Rex just leans on the ship as he looks up at the city. The shot he fired caused him to drift off to sleep.

Yukino just curled up on the floor of the Warhammer.

Archimedes came to the nearest inn. "Hey you got a room for the night or will I have to sleep in the alley and get mugged"

@Salty: Agreed.

"I believe it would be in our collective best interest to ensure that Fenrich is up and about as soon as possible." Rozalin replied to Val. "I'll do what I can, but I don't think it will amount to very much though." She added as she sat down next to Fenrich and started consulting her medical textbook for other ways to help heal him.

Yukimaru looked around and noticed quite a few allies seeming to nod off. [color=01B7FF]"I believe it might be best to postpone entering the city for now, zam. I don't think it would serve us well to do so when so many of us seem to be exhausted zam."[/color]

 

[Furioso]

Valvatorez nodded at Rozalin It's quite alright, you've done enough. At this point he just needs some rest... and maybe some sardines once he wakes up. I'll keep an eye on him for the night, you should get some rest yourself." said Valvatorez before making himself a makeshift camp for him and Fenrich to rest.

Eve looks a little lost as Zach finishes his explanation. "Uh. Not really. But then again I might understand your plan a little better after some rest. I mean we just managed to escape with our toes before the Carrier went down."

Aggie had fallen asleep in the chair she was sat in and was quietly snoring.

The innkeeper looked at Archimedes through his gas mask with neither hostile intent or much care for the figure before him. "Pay up if ya want a room or Git out if you're not payin'."

Archimedes took some metal coins out of his pockets "This is enough. Now if you don't mind I'm going to have a rest" He said going up and choosing a random room to sleep in

"Well then, we'll postpone till tomorrow. But then, I'm going to have to start gathering troops."

Bryce takes a seat in the Warhammer next to Eve.

Eve lays her head on Bryce's shoulder and eventually falls asleep.

Out of the jungle emerges the revived Darwin after having suffered multiple injuries in his fall. He simply walks in the Warhammer's direction when Jack drops down in front of him. "Enjoy fall? I'm really more of a summer man when things burn down and infact..." Jack turns to look at the city slowly moving through the air. "...there appears to be a bonfire just waiting for a match to light it. Come my stony-faced flop of a friend, let us lay down some tinder." Jack then set off for the lifts with Darwin sighing in tow and began ascending to the city.

The Sand-Wraiths reached the edge of the desert and came to the forest. They immediately leapt from the sand and began speeding through the bushy undergrowth heading for their prey. Not far behind them traveled the Disciple's hurricane and recently captured in it's dangerous winds was a recently created wreck at the bow of which stood the Disciple herself staring blankly forward.

OOC: Now for myself to go to sleep.

Bryce leans back and smiles, one hand wrapping around Eve's. He closes his eyes, and drifts to sleep. So, when are you going to tell her you've got a creepy hive mind monster hiding in your blood? Bryce grunts, and sleeps.

Zachariah looks over the others, sighs, and hops up onto the roof of the Warhammer, bow out and ready to defend the others through the night, if need be.

OoC: I'm out, good night all.

Rozalin nodded to Val as she left and headed back to the Warhammer. She found a seat at the very back and fell alseep, not at all happy about the massive reduction in quality of sleeping arrangements.

Yukimaru laid down on the floor of the Warhammer, forgoing taking a seat so she wouldn't deprive anyone else of one, then fell asleep.

Bryce awoke, looking down and smiling at Eve. He leaned back and relaxed.

Zachariah climbed down, one eye out to the rest of the world, ready to fight.

The monster continued his walk through the forest, occasionally allowing it to combust around him, until he saw the city. He then let out a slow laugh, building and building.
