"Goodnight to the both of you." Rozalin said to Rex, giving him a bow before walking off to let him sleep. Her exchange with Rex had put her in a good enough mood that she didn't mind sleeping in the Warhammer again, having forgotten to go back into the city and get a hotel room.

Yukimaru eventually fell asleep on the ground outside, too wrapped up in thought to bother with going back inside before she became too tired to no longer be able to do so.

Black was sitting just outside the Warhammer, looking up at the sky.

Holly just started to wake up.

From the treeline, a figure stepped out into the clearing and approached the Warhammer. Though there was no one around to recognise him, it was the hooded stranger that had had approached Blondie and Bryce in the forest the previous night. He strolled towards the
Warhammer with his hands in his pockets, examining it with mild disinterest.

Holly strolled out the warhammer and looked around. She squinted her eyes, not entirely sure if she saw a person by the tree line. so she walked a bit closer to investigate.

Black was still looking up at the sky.

The stranger noticed Holly coming out to meet him as he approached the aircraft, but didn't respond to her for a bit, instead continuing to examine the Warhammer. Finally he turned his dark eyes on her as they came close.
"Is this to be part of your arsenal in toppling the government of this planet then?" He asked with clear scorn for the machine. "I'm surprised a cut and shut job like that can even fly. I assume the enemy have war machines that might prove more of a challenge?"

Holly tilted her head slightly at the stranger. "Toppling the Government of thisss Planet? I don't think were doing that....I think were trying to get home...." Holly said, then looked back at the Warhammmer. "THat'sss the cowboysss ship....It'sss pretty cramped but it doesss fly honest!" She added.

 

[Random berk]

The stranger shrugged.
"That's what the cowboy said you were here to do. Or one of them did anyway. It makes no difference to me one way or another. I'd like to get home and finish what I started, but this would only advance my purpose, and I'm sure I can do it myself better than any ragtag band of rebels. Not that I mean to brag or anything." The stranger grinned, then turned his attention back to the Warhammer.
"I suppose when you put it like that, it can't be any worse than any other gunship or troop transport, can it? They're all deathtraps really. So... fragile."

"Oh....well Thisss Iss the first time Ive heard about thisss..." Holly remarked, putting her hands in her hoody. "Who are you anywayssss? I haven't Ssseen you before..." Holly asked the stranger.

The stranger was silent for a moment. His grin widened, and his head was bowed so that his eyes were shrouded beneath his hood.
"People have called me a lot of different things. Names, titles, accusations. Most of them were pretty much accurate, though few of them really touched the full picture. You want a name... Zeus is probably the closest. Or if you prefer, Mercer. Yes, for your purposes, I suppose my more common name will suffice. Alex Mercer, at your service." He bowed slightly and insincerely, still grinning as he straightened up again.

Holly gave a small nod, she found Alex's Grin slightly unsettling. "Oh...Nice to Meet you Mister Alex....my name isss holly by the way..." She said to Alex, slowly putting her hand out to him.

Bryce pulled himself up, idly tapped Eve's hand, and walked out of the Warhammer.

Mercer nodded and stared at Holly's hand a moment, considering it. Finally he reached out and shook it with the brevity of someone who didn't care for the gesture. His grip felt strange and unpleasant, but in a way that was impossible to pin down. It could have been the temperature of his hand, or the moisture, which both felt somehow off from what a human hand should have been. Perhaps it was the texture of the flesh, which also seemed subtly out of place. It might even have seemed to move gently of its own accord under Holly's touch, but that sensation was quickly lost.
"Holly... a pleasure. Tell me, what do you know about the people here? Why are they here? Do you know how they intend to try and get home? Do they seem like they might be able to do it?"

Holly put her hands back in her hoody, she found Mercer's whole present unsettling but tried her best to not let it show. "I know there mostly friendly to me....I don't know why there here...I think there trying to get back home....Just like me..." Holly answered, then looked down a little. "I'm afraid I don't know how were getting home yet.....but I believe in them!" She said, giving a small smile at the end of her sentence.

"What's up?" Bryce asks, looking over both Alex and Holly.

Mercer only scowled at this.
"No one knows much around here." He muttered. "Well, I'm stuck for the time being, but I think I can make a fine hobby out of places like that floating city while I wait. I'll search for a way back in the meantime. At least for that, having a number of people on the job might actually help. I'll be sure to check in with you and your people to see if you find anything."

Rex lets out a yawn as he picks himself up off the ground. Shaking off whatever grass was on him, he begins his usual practice, wildly zipping around and punching the air. He was completely oblivious to anyone around him.

Yukino stayed asleep inside the Warhammer.

"Ok then...If I find anything I tell you..." Holly said to Mercer, then turned around to Bryce. "Were just talking about Ssstuff!" Holly replied.

Black sat up a bit, she looked around a little but remained pretty quiet.

"Just seeing what your little posse has to offer." Mercer said, turning to face Bryce."
