One of the lifts leading to the lower city began descending towards the ground where the group were.

"Hey that bomb was one of my friends you know. That and the bomb has to land sooner or later and ex..." A giant explosion is heard in the distance

 

[Furioso]

Valvatorez had a confused look on his face "A sentient bomb? How did you manage that?"

Fenrich laughed when he heard it explode

Neither noticed the elevator

@FPS. That's fine. I'm honestly thinking of switching back to Reimu over Thanksgiving, instead of Una.

"Well you see the speaker was hooked up to a small computer with an Artificial Intelligence telling it what to say" He glared at Fenrich "I'm going to laugh at your funeral too"

Bryce looks over to the lift and extends his flamer to stand next to it, ready to fight.

Bullet grips her gauntlets tight getting ready, Ratsel deploys her armor.

Fenrich laughed "Trust me, I'll outlive you."

"Not if I find the build the life extending machine first"

The lift reaches the ground and a lone feminine figure dressed in the garb of an Overlordian citizen, gas mask and all, steps off and starts heading for the group near the Warhammer.

 

[FPSfanatic]

Bryce extends his left hand, a flamer lit. "Explain yourself, Overlord, or taste some fire."

 

[Furioso]

Valvatorez and Fenrich turned to face the figure, and waited for her to respond to Bryce

Ratsel and Bullet kept their silence.

A muffled response came from under the mask. "Really Bryce? Why so hostile?" The figure then raised her hands and began undoing the masks bindings before taking it off to reveal that it was Eve. "Hello!" she said with a smile.

 

[FPSfanatic]

Bryce breaks into a broad grin, cries "Cyar'ika!" And rushes in to give her a hug. "Ah Hell dear, you left me hand-wringing. No note, no heads up, I just look up and 'woosh' you're gone!" He holds her at arms length, looking her over. "Well the disguise certainly works!"

"How's the town up there and why were you wearing a mask"

 

[Furioso]

Valvatorez recoiled at the site of Eve "Wha?! She was a traitor the whole time!"

 

[TilMorrow]

Eve returns the hug. "Sorry, sorry. I was in a rush to follow after that little girl that Rex had put in the cells aboard the Carrier. I woke up and saw her getting into one of the lifts and decided to keep an eye on her. But then when I finally reached the top she had disappeared in the mass of people up there. I tried looking for her but all the while I kept getting dark looks from the locals so I quickly slipped into a shop and bought this attire. Good thing too, the smog up there is particularly thick and dangerous to inhale." She looks at Archimedes. "Um it was to stop me from choking on all the smoke and avoid any possible burns."

 

[Furioso]

Fenrich looked at Valvatorez "You shouldn't jump to conclusions so quickly, my Lord."

"But look Fenrich, she doesn't deny it! You, traitorous lass, will you surrender? Or will I have to force you to surrender?"

Fenrich chuckled, he knew Eve was obviously not a traitor, but he wasn't about to say anything to the contrary
