Black dropped the pistol, put her sword away and Materialized her arm cannon. She took a couple of quick shots, clearing more of a pathway. "Which way now?" She called out.

Blondie and Royce would discover a swirling vortex, at this point only about twice as large as a basketball. As it closed they would be able to see inside it. Inside the vortex was a place one could only describe as hell, various demonic figures floated around a landscape of fallen ruins floating on a vast lake of lava. If they had good eyesight they would be able to just make out tiny figures of Valvatorez raising his fists in anger and yelling something while Fenrich bowed to him.
Moments later, the vortex closed. On the ground near where the vortex had closed, Blondie and Royce would see a gigantic book full of coupons, each offering free sardines from various locations on earth, presumably dropped by Valvatorez as he was pushed into the portal.

I had spent the night searching the city for means of reaching the sealed off upper layer, without result. If indeed there was a entrance, it was hidden well, and with these deranged jackals now prowling the streets, it must be sealed off by now. As I continued my futile search, I heard the sounds of combat not all too far from my position. Likely those monstrosities had returned to the surface to feed. While I kept on the look out for a posible entrance to the upper city, I made my way towards the sounds.

A drunken Suika approached Marisa who was studying outside. Reimu was watching what Marisa had done. She was sitting on a stone that was wedged into the ground while sipping on dragonfruit juice. Marisa had arranged her portal so that there was an ethereal keypad beside it that glowed blue, so she could control the variables in her alternate universe.

"I'm looking at alternate dimensions. Our portal at the Hakurei shrine was set to a new world when Yukari.... wait! Why am I talking to you when you are as drunk as the alcohol you're holding?"
<color="Mmmmmm, I d'know. It looks kinda cool, *hic*."
<color=red>"We shouldn't get her involved, Marisa. This stuff might be too much for her."
Suika tried to make the best angry face she could while being inebriated.
<color=orange>"Hey! Don't talk about me like that *hic*. I know about alternate dimenshhhhions from when Yukari blabbers to me or plays tricks on me." She saw the panel Marisa was handling.

"Uhhh, no?" She said straight without hesitation.
Suika runs up and starts to mess with the panel.
<color=orange>"Too late! I'm messin' with your stuff! What this universe needs is a lot more deserts! And a lot more floating cities too! Perhaps an evil overlord! Some giant sand worms that tunnel underground.... aaaanddd we're done."
"Wha! Hey! Stop that." As she shoved Suika aside.
<color=red>"Marisa, look at it!" The stuff inside the portal was enough to grab Reimu's attention.
"I guess... we could try going through. It looks interesting enough. Before that.... Where's that book?" She searched around her and found it on the ground.
<color=red>"Oh, no! I'm not coming along on this. If it's not about an Incident, it ain't worth dealing with."
"Well, you're coming whether you like it or not you stubborn miko!" Marisa grabbed Reimu by the wrist and pulled her into the portal.

The two girls ended up on a tall structure inside the city the group was in.
"Gotta give credit to Suika, she sure has some creativity."
<color=red>"Speak for yourself." She said, rubbing her forehead.

Making my way towards the sound of battle, leaping over the rooftops, I eventually reach a building overlooking the site of battle. There I witnessed the two scantly clad women in this group of wayfarers, one of whom was insane. The indeed were facing off against a relatively small group of the abominations. For the moment, I remained where I was and observed.

"Will you calm the hell down? It's a city. I'm sure a city has to sustain itself somehow. They have to have food somewhere."

"Chill, alright? We'll stay here a few hours to see what it's like here and then we'll go back."
