@Drak: Sounds like it would be something like AA for angsty jRPG protagonists. ...I like it.
Also, Night.

Rex shakes his head. "There isn't much to say about it. I killed my parents because they were abusive. Now then, I've got to get to sleep. Night" Rex gives Roz a wave as he walks into his room and sleeps.
Yukino puts her hands behind her head and looks up at the smog. "Is that so? All the more reason to put your entire being into building yourself up to destroy him. That's the only reason I've managed to last so long myself. I'll stay on lookout, go rest up if you want." She hops onto a nearby rooftop and stands guard, slashing any infected that may come close to the inn.

Rozalin seemed utterly stunned by what Rex had said. "I...you...y-you just killed your parents? T-That's...I couldn't even imagine doing something like that!...You must have been treated truly poorly..." At least father never treated me poorly...openly... She managed to reply. She started nervously rubbing at the pendant around her neck. She hardly noticed Rex had left until several minutes after. Sighing, she took the key to a room since there was no one left that cared enough to try and stop her, then found a room to go sleep.
Yukimaru simply nodded to Yukino. "That's all I've done for the past 15 years, zam. I'm as ready as I could ever be, zam. And I must say...it's the only reason I've gone on for so long as well, zam. It is my sole reason for existing at this point, zam." Yukimaru nodded to Yukino again as she left, then simply found a place in the lobby to lay down.

@Dot: Sorry for the late reply, for some reason your post wouldn't show up when I refreshed the page so I only saw it half an hour afterwards...
And you're already gone. Guess I'll leave now too.

Idranel ceased her support. She wavered for a moment, her mind was immensly powerful but she could still strain herself and place herself at the risk of daemons. She clutched her Singing Spear for support and caught her breath before moving on. The board had changed again, it was her turn.

Deep in the city's drainage system, the snarls and howls of the infected echoed through the tunnels, building into a horrifying chorus. At a point where several tunnels connected with each other, they gathered, milling aimlessly about and occasionally clawing at one another. The walls were starting to take on the appearance of an internal organ's lining, with Blacklight viral material steadiy being exuded in small amounts and accumulating i the confined spaces. Soon it would form a nest, alive in itself and capable of birthing entirely new horrors from its own flesh.

On the surface, many of those who had been wounded by the original outbreak were beginning to turn. Some of those who had gone to hospital would be restrained and tied down after attacking other patiets and staff. More would mange to slip into the shadows and disappear, as was their talent. More than a few family homes were discovered blood soaked and deserted, the people inside maimed and butchered.

Idranel skryed the near future. The problems of this place mattered little were it not for the reprecussions that it held. Idranel saw her death, as she did every day, but this death heralded more than her own doom. She would have opened a webway portal to kill a certain individual but she would fail and die. Her warriors would be slain and the webway portal would allow danger to threaten her craftworld before closing. She saw how to prevent this fate and the myriad of fates that this would spawn. She cast more runes to specify the skien of fate. WIth 7 runes at her command she used the Arrow of Kurnous to pin-point a consequence at the far stretches of possibility. Again it was her death, this time her sacrifice to allow the warriors of Ulthwe time to escape. From this point she scrolled backwards to find the events that led up to this and found a plethora of threads of fate, bound and twisted with eachother. Even with her powers it would take time to discern the most likely outcomes.

From the top of one of the higher buildings in the lower city, Mercer stood with his arms folded, smirking as he listened to the bustle of the streets below. Every now and then he could pick out the sounds that indicated the unrest he had sparked. The uneasy murmuring of the people in the streets. A scream as someone was ambushed in the darker corners. The occasional gunshot as someone tried to defend themselves. These last two sounds were becoming increasingly common, and still the military had done nothing. He snorted to himself.
"I should pay them a visit at some point today." He muttered, glancing up at the upper city.

Idranel stopped her scrying and closed her eyes. The one true path was known to her and she took her first step upon it and set the chain of events in motion.

Reimu and Marisa woke up from their stay at the inn. Marisa opened the book for alternate universes and recited the verse for their own universe in Gensokyo. The two girls stepped through the portal and vanished so that they could gather supplies before coming back.

They arrived back, knowing that Gensokyo was a-okay and not in trouble of any rampant youkai. They were washed up, dressed, and ready to go.

OOC: I'll be prepping for my bus trip back to Lawrence. Which is in 9 or so hours.

Mercer leapt from the rooftop out over the street and spread his arms and legs. For a moment he fell freely, then an explosive torrent of infected biomass erupted from along the length of his arms and dissipated in the air, propelling him back upwards. Using this method he glided swiftly over the lower buildings, drawing panicked cries from the civilians who looked up and saw the grisly spectacle. Mercer ignored them and drifted back towards the street where most of his acquaintances had laid up.

Landing on the roof of the inn, Mercer stepped off and dropped to the pavement with a loud thump. Turning to glance at the windows over his shoulder he saw that it was still dark inside.
"Up bright and early as always, I see." He muttered to himself.

The Abomination. The First. The dead shall bear death. Idranel puzzled on this. How to proceed? Mercer needed to be slowed and contained but could not be destroyed. Her black and bone rune armour hummed and glowed as she began to activate it. Using her phsycic ability as her armour.

Mercer paused as he turned to the door of the inn, and looked around. He felt as though he was being watched. Slowly, he started to scan around him, his hood hiding the movement of his head as he looked for the spy.

Idranel's Ghosthelm slid closed over her head and hid her face behind an impassive, blank mask. Her head now fully enclosed she walked forwards. Some things could be solved with words before violence. Misdirection was as prudent as outright destruction.

Seeing the tall slender figure in beuatifully crafted white armour step out of cover and approach, Mercer grinned. This person carried herself with a confident air, and something told him that she was competent by the standards of the other humans, and humanoids that he had seen so far. He wondered how she would react if she had to face him in battle and try to stop him. Curiosity aroused, he let her approach.

She stopped and faced Mercer. Her witchsight scanned the possible outcomes briefly to find the right action and mannerism to hold. Mercer himself was an abmination, a conglomeration of hundreds if not thousands of differant fates. So many multiples leading into a single entity. Her Singing Spear was a comfort in her grip. "Greetings creature." She simply said.

Bryce pulls himself out of his rooms, his eyes dark circles. He walks out of the inn the old fashioned way, and heads out onto the streets, armcomp at the ready for toasting.

Creature? This one's a little more perceptive.
"Good afternoon to you too." Mercer replied diplomatically. "You must be new to this group. Its hardly past midday yet." As he spoke he heard the door open and glanced over at Bryce as he came outside.
