Idranel stopped her scrying. She had come across the most terrifying rune for a seer to encounter upon the skien. The rune of Khaine. It signaled war was coming to Craftworld Ulthwe and moments before Idranel had left the skien the rune had dragged her within its burning confines as it set alight the skien around it with fire and bloodshed. She saw every possible death that could befall her and how these deaths would come to be. When she had withdrawn the rune still burned brightly and she felt a primal bloodlust awakening while hundreds of threads of fate were reduced to ash, consumed by the bloody handed god.
She looked around, free of the grip of the rune. Khaela Mensha Khaine. Morag-Hai had given the Eldar foresight and the other gods had given gifts to the Eldar upon their creation. Khaine's gift was hatred. The strength to defend the other gifts, unlike blind hatred it was rational and emotional, centuries of racial guilt, anger and rage were contained within one part of the Eldar mind to be unlocked when the Avatar of Khaine awoke.
The Avatar only awoke for war and then it would lead the Eldar warhost on a bloody orchestra of death and violence within which the Eldar would be consumed by hatred and anger. It would dissapate when the war was over....or when the Avatar fell.
