The other Infantry Man just looked at Valvatorez and Fenrich before saying "Look buddy, we know you think you're some sorta big shot now that you've made it up here after somehow keeping bales of cash, I know this because we all do at first, but you aren't really anything important yet. It'll be a couple of years before you achieve anything significant and even then you have to survive those years so making people angry generally isn't a good idea. And don't give me any crap about wanting to join the armed forces, it's a real ***** and should be your only last resort." He laughs. "Though I guess you could say we get the easier job of just guiding the shafts as nothing ever really happens around here. Now if you continue down that way and take a couple of rights and lefts and a flight of stairs, you'll be up on the surface." the man says as he points down the corridor. "However don't expect anyone to help ya, you're still on your own up here and if you can't make it up here then it would be better for you to turn right around and jump through the hole where your lift just was. I think we've had someone do that once. Oh before I let you continue I have to see your pass to access here." he stated as he stood up and held out his hand. "Oh by the way I respect both of ya for not wearing a mask on the way up but it's likely your lungs are going to crumble into ash before the next five years are up."
