Mercer travelled quickly from rooftop to rooftop, sprinting, rolling and leaping impossible distances. Finally he alighted on the top of a tower and gazed at the prey far below his feet. To his left, there was a street as crowded as the lower city, but far more dressed up. Straight ahead he could see a military barracks where the infantry were running drills.
"Oh, so much choice!" He shouted, far above audible height. "Should I split open a few fatcats and see how shiny their innards are, or should I see how lax the local grunts are when I drop in to say hello?! What to do, what to do..."

Mercer took one last look at the military base, then shrugged.
"Actually, I'd be more interested to see if they'll even get off their asses while their taxpayers get diced up outside their front door." With that he somersaulted neatly off the tower and fell to the streets, picking up speed as he went. As he hit terminal velocity he ecame dimly aware of a small clearing on the street as the crowd moved away from someone, but then he was at head height, and smashed into the pavement like a bomb sending up a lethal shower of debris. The people struck fell with splashes of crimson arcing from their heads and chests, and the people nearest to them immediately began to panic, assuming it was a bomb. Mercer increased their horror tenfold by exploding outwards with a thick web of thin tendrils, again skewering a host of people around him, violating their circulatory systems and pumping infected fluid through the grotesque veins pulsing in and out of the tendrils. Utter chaos ensued as the horrors of the lower city began to repeat themselves.

The children yelled in pride as the young girl gazed up at the man. A true paragon for the Noxian way.

[hr]A woman was standing over Bullet's dead body with a shining green orb in her hands. She grinned slightly. "Such a beautiful body... Left to waste. I shall grant you a resting place..."
Bullet's body started breaking down at the molecular level until it completely dissolved, being absorbed into the woman's orb. "Well... It's kinda a resting place. May the Spheres grant you peace."

Getting off the wall, I start looking around at the new people with the group. I don't like crowds. I started to leave the inn as I realize that the fox started to follow me again. Oh Riven, what have you gotten yourself into?
Bryce watched yuniko drop. He shrugged and began walking around, looking for others he may have missed.

Hearing the screams of panic and terror, as feint as they were, the man turned towards the direction where they came from, the tip of his sword scraping over the ground. The attention of the pedestrians who first had been cautious when the man with the demonic-looking sword looked away from him hearing the sounds of terror. While some remained where they were, whispering to eachother, others walked towards the sounds, curiousity getting the better of them. Others began moving away.
Eventually, the man turned to the girl. "We shouldn't remain here." he spoke with urgency.
The girl shook her head in responce. "No. This can still be stopped."
The man frowned upon hearing the girl's remark. "And jeopordize your safety? No. It was a mistake to come here. We should leave. Now."
The girl held the man's free hand and looked up, looking him in the eyes. "Caius, please."
After staring the girl down for a moment, the man hmm'd and turned around, walking towards the sounds. "Very well then... Stay close."

Mercer almost cackled watching the people gathered around him as his new thralls writhed in agony on the ground as the virus burned its way through their bloodstream to their brains. Though some people had fled, others were standing looking at him in horror, shellshock, even dumb incomprehension. He decided to make it clearer to them.
"Can I have a volunteer from the audience?!" He roared, and hurled a whipfist into the crowd. It came back driven through the bulging stomach of a portly, balding man in an expensive suit, totally stiff, pale-faced and gulping like a dying fish. Bringing him face to face, Mercer grinned and nodded politely, then thrust the man into the air and ripped his whipfist loose, immediately mutating both his hands into claws. As the man fell, Mercer slashed upwards with both and instantly sliced the man into cubes which went flying, showering the crowd in his blood. At the same time the first few of the infected picked themselves up and shambled towards the crowd. That did the trick. They beganto struggle back exactly as they had before.

"This situation just got weirder and worse by the second."
