All the bodies that were laying on the street had completely disappeared as the fox's glow stopped as it made another yip! sound before following after Riven again.

I stop to notice the fox following me again. I sigh and turn to it, as the fox happily waved its tails at me.

Rex nods toward Caius and Yeul. [color=008888] "Nice to meet you both." [/color] He steps forward and extends a hand toward both of them. [color=008888] "I'm Rex." [/color]

He gives a sideways glance toward the nine-tail. [color=008888] Well.... that makes clean-up less of a pain... Still need to run through the sewers around here... [/color]

Yukino nods again, smiling. [color=bb66bb] "So you're not really investigators, more like protectors of peace, only acting when the balance you thrive on is challenged, correct?" [/color]

Bryce absentmindedly nodded to the duo, before walking over and looking at the fox, going on a knee to get closer to it. "My god, you are just the cutest thing in the world." he murmured, slowly extending a hand as if to pet it.

We had to force our way through a place called the Scarlet Devil Mansion in order to find out who or what was causing it. And eventually we found a 500 year old little vampire girl who wanted to block out the sun so she and her sister could walk outside during the day."

@Outis: Eh, might as well. Not like I got much better to do...

Rozalin and Yukimaru were sitting down on a park bench somewhere on the other side of town from where most everyone else was congregated. Rozalin looked rather tired, as the two had been out scrounging for information the entire day. Yukimaru didn't look even the slightest bit winded however, and was sitting next to Rozalin primarily to just be polite.

I look over at the cowboy and sigh as well. What makes this animal cute in any sort of way?

The fox rubs its head under Bryce's hand.

"It's not so bad. One simply learns to adapt." Yeul said to Archemedis, then turned to Rex giving him a loose handshake. "I am Yeul." she said with a small smile, then stepped back.

Caius jabbed his sword into the ground and shook Rex's hand with the one he was holding his sword in. Naturally, unlike Yeul, his handshake was firm. Looking to Archimedes, he frowned. "Ballad was the name of a fallen comrade. I took it out of respect." as he spoke those words, he cast a glance at the fox, vaguely interested. A curious beast.

Bryce smiles and gently rubs his hand against the fox's head, applying pressure bit by bit, checking to see if it enjoyed it each time. "This your fox? Magnificent creature. You must be very proud of it." Bryce said to the broken sword wielding girl.

 

[Outisakanobody]

A young girl landed rather roughly in the park where Roz and Yuki were. Oddly enough, even though she landed rather hard, there was absolutely no sound. The girl silently cursed and muttered to herself as she got to her feet.

"It's not mine. It just started following me for some reason." I reply to the man (Bryce)

The fox was enjoying itself, being petted, as it was thinking about something else.

Yukimaru noticed the girl hit the ground and quickly approached. Though she found the fact that she didn't hear an impact to be odd, she was more concerned over whether the girl was hurt to ponder over it for the moment. [color=01B7FF]"Are you okay, zam?"[/color] She asked the girl.

Rozalin got up and followed Yukimaru over to where the girl was, doing so rather slowly as she was still quite tired.

The fox simply made a yip! sound at Bryce.

"Riven. I assume that you're with Rex and company?" I ask, getting straight to the point.

Rex smiled at both Yeul and Caius before turning toward a nearby sewer cover. [color=008888] "Hope you guys don't find this place too revolting. It was pretty nice until Mercer showed up." [/color] He turns to the group and addresses everyone. [color=008888] "Also, do me a favor and don't follow me down here. I'd prefer to do this infection cleaning stuff alone. Saves me the trouble of dealing with electrocuted comrades." [/color] With that, he slaps on his gasmask and closes the cover. Once inside, Rex begins shifting through the water, zapping the cores on the walls and the infected hordes he comes across.

Yukino nods toward Reimu. [color=bb66bb] "Ah. I see, that makes a lot of sense to me now. Being a shinobi I'm also in touch with spirits and the like every now and again. Never heard the term 'youkai' though..." [/color] Turning to Marisa, she chuckles a bit. [color=bb66bb] "That kind of makes you a thief or a hoarder, doesn't it? But that aside, I'm going to go to sleep for the time being. 'Night." [/color] Yukino walks into her room in the inn and dozes off.

OoC: I'm off for now. Might come back later.

"Yeah, you could say that. I like to think that I'm the voice of reason with the group, but half the time they ignore me. What's your name ma'am?" Bryce asked, reaching underneath the fox's jaw to scratch underneath their. "Want me to call you yip? Wouldn't mind that name at all."

<color=red>"And she still has a bit of a hoarder and collector in her."
I guess there's no hiding it this time. I admit I was kind of a hoarder. She rolls her eyes, but chuckles anyway at the friendly humor.
"G'night!" Marisa turned to Reimu. "I suppose it's time we headed back at got to sleep ourselves."
Reimu sighed.
<color=red>"Yes, let's go back and tuck in."

Marisa made the incantation for Gensokyo, and the girls disappeared for the night.

"I said Riven. That is my name." If this man wasn't paying attention, he would have been smacked by a Noxian Teacher. I replied to Bryce.
