Although he could partially make out what Yukino had said, instead giving her a nod before returning to Yeul's side. Was it genuine act of kindness, or a ploy to get closer to her mark? I cannot tell. Irritating... He recognised Rozalins face upon returning to Yeul's side, but choose to remain silent for the time being.

"I am Paddra Nsu-Yeul. Simply Yeul for short. And this is Caius, my Guardian." Yeul stated, first bowing slightly, then pointing towards Caius. "We choose to remain here because I wished to meet this paticular group of travelers. I have not come to regret my decision, despite the state of the city. But to answer your question, yes. The food was rather enjoyable. A shame that place is lost by now." she explained, holding her left wrist behind her back.

"Do you truly believe so, Vampire? Our people would have fought you anyway. We helped rescue them from the bowels of hell itself. They would not accept you trying to kill us." one of the men said to Valvatorez, sword tip touching the ground. "What are your last words before I split you in two, demon?"

"Ah. We currently have teams researching the virus, but we have very little to go on. We will investigate the imposters. Frederic has proven to be an able spy, after all. Is that all, or do you wish to pat us on the head for being good boys?" the lead commander said to Majeh.

 

[Saltyk]

"Well, if you insist." Majeh walked over to the lead commander, and started patting him on the head. "Good boy."

He stepped back and grinned. "What if I lead you to them? You won't have to investigate, then. I know exactly where they are. I got the information from some of their soldiers. I can lead you there."

Both Yukino and Rex roll into cover at Radec's signal. As she sees the snipers set up, Yukino takes a deep breath and slowly starts to become invisible behind cover.

Rex just takes out his pistol and reloads it. Looking back at the horse, he gives it another glare. [color=008888] I can't tell if it's making fun of me or answering me... Wait, why the hell am I worried about what a horse thinks of me!? [/color]

"If you had accepted my challenge none of your people would have had to die, instead your cowardice has cost the-" said Valvatorez before Fenrich zoomed by, grabbing Valvatorez as he passed, with only his feet sticking out through Fenrichs grip as he fled into the distance. Muffled protests could be heard from within Fenrich's grasp

OoC: Yea I'd be screwed if they got into a boss fight now

The commander Majeh patted chortled. "You are not all evil, voidwalker. Perhaps we shall agree to your request, it has been long since I hunted. Perhaps- an ear splitting roar echoed from the broken security cordon. "SCHEISSE! I must help deal with the infestation, before they reach the citizens. Another time!" he began running forward, just as brawlers appeared at the breach. With a single slash, the commander separated the first in half length wise, before leading the counter charge with a roar "FOR OUR HOME, FOR THE IRON LEGION, FOR XYLVANIA!" emboldened, his troops joined him, cutting down infected and letting them survive another night in the cursed city.

Rozalin nodded to both Yeul and Caius. "It is a pleasure to meet you both." Though that is hardly saying much, at this point it is a pleasure to meet anyone or anything that is refraining from trying to end my life. "I am Princess Rozalin." She replied, giving Yeul a polite curtsy in exchange for her bow. Her tone grew regretful as she said, "And yes, it truly is a shame that it was lost. The food there reminded me of home." She looked down and wrung her hands for a moment before sighing and returning to looking at Yeul. She noticed her holding one of her hands behind her back, but wrote it off as possibly being a custom of where she was from.

Noticing the snipers, Yukimaru pressed herself down low against the roof she was on. She slowly crawled on her stomach towards the outpost, the sniper's not being likely to notice her as she used roof she was crawling along as cover from their sight. Noticing a shout and a ball of lightning fall into the area she was approaching, she checked to see what reaction it received from everyone else.

Seeing nothing else I could do, I picked up my materials and headed back inside the apartment with Aisha as she finished brushing her tails.

"So how was body maintenance?"

"Fine I guess. Maybe I should do something with your hair one day."

"Yeah sure." I half-joked with her as we both fell asleep on a bed.

The horse neighed again as it started to strut away from the group of Yukino, Rex and Co.

Rex looks up, trying to find out where the lightning ball came from.

Yukino stops her transformation halfway momentarily as the outpost gets hit.

"Evil? What foolishness is this? There's no such thing. Nor is there good. I am one that can be a friend to anyone. I can also be an enemy to anyone. I am neither good, nor evil. I am simply Majeh. Keep that in mind for after you slaughter those abominations." He says, walking back towards the buildings he came from.

He leaps to a wall that encircles the compound. But instead of returning to join the others he decides to do what must be done. He unsheathes his sword, as he begins to emit a massive amount of Chi. Looking down upon the infected attacking the Iron Legion he declares.
"I am Majeh, Envoy to the Next World. A God of Death. I shall guide you on your journey to the afterlife, so that you may be judged and attain a chance of being reincarnated. This is all I can do for you in your current state. But it is a kindness. I'm sorry for what has happened to you. I will find the ones responsible for your pain and make them suffer. None should have to suffer this fate."

He smirks. "Now, enough of this flowery speech. Let's have a fight! I hope you lot can at least entertain me. I've grown so bored."

Jumping headfirst into the awaiting horde, Majeh begins slashing and cutting. As infected try to attack him, he dodges and counters. His every movement is elegant. Not a single motion is wasted in attack or defense, leading his every move to appear as a dance as each motion flows into the next. Arms, legs, and blood fly. Yet through it all, he maintains a big grin as he fights. He enjoys the battle, and his Chi grows every stronger with each passing moment.

OoC: Yeah... I'm pretty much done for the night. Depending on how I feel in the morning, I may be on earlier than normal.

"A princess? I have never met someone of royal blood. In our homeworld, a de-facto government rules the land. I do not think there has ever been a time where a monarchy ruled." Yeul replied, mostly thinking aloud.
"The food served to us was pleasant enough, but lacked practicallity. It could barely be considdered filling." Caius chimed in, remembering the mild disappointment he felt as he ate the soup served at the restaurant.
Both Yeul and Caius noticed Rozalin wringing her hands when she mentioned her home, but neither said anything about it. Yeul not wanting to ask posible sensitive question to one who still was a stranger, and Caius not caring.

Rex's initial shock turned into a smile as he sees the new guy using electricity. [color=008888] Looks like I found a kindred spirit... [/color] Rex vaults over his cover and sends a shock into his pistol, giving the bullets a high voltage charge.

Yukino dashes in behind the new guy and Rex with her hand on her sword. Anyone near her would notice a small rise in the temperature around her.

"A de-facto government? I am afraid I have never heard of such a thing. From what I have read, nearly all governments from where I am from are autocratic." Rozalin replied to Yeul. "And I am indeed of royal blood. The One and Only Daughter of Overlord Zenon, as a matter of fact." Not that that would mean anything to you, it never seems to... She added, displaying her mark to the pair of newly met folks for a moment. She turned slightly to Caius and remarked, "Such is the food of luxury, in some cases. I have personally yet to find any place in this world to provide anything truly satisfying to eat. At this point, I might consider myself capable of killing to get a nice, bloody steak."

Yukimaru took great advantage of the lightning-bolty-shouty-man and leaped over the rooftops onto the ones that made up the outpost. From there, she began looking around, trying to get a feel for just what was happening before she involved herself further.

As Rozalin displayed her mark, both Yeul and Caius looked it over, although Yeul did so with more visible curiousity, her eyes tracing back and forth, following the lines of the mark. Although it held no meaning for her, she still found it interesting. After being done examining the mark, Yeul stepped back. "The de-facto government came into power after a catastrophic event three years ago, wich left the world with a power void. The Fal'Cie--wich are demi-god-like beings that guided the people for as long as anyone can remember betrayed them. Sometime after this, Cocoon--a miniature floating world holding several cities fell out of the sky, forcing Cocoon's inhabitants to evacuate to Gran Pulse, the world itself. A year later, the Academy formed, and although primarily consisting of scientist, they began working on improving the people's quality of life in their new, inhospitable home. In time, they were more or less accepted as rulers, and still are."

"I have always hunted for food. And would still do so. But there are no Behemoths to be found here, so no steak." Caius idly remarked.

Yukino casually weaved through the shots with ease as she unsheathes her katana, slashing at two guards' necks.

Rex get grazed by a few of the shots. Making his way to cover again, he fires a few rounds of his charged pistol toward a few guards. Even if they miss, the shock should damage them somewhat.
