Rozalin lifted her hand as if to accept Bryce's offer of tea, but then some of her prissier instincts kicked in and she returned her hand to her lap, simply saying, "No thank you." She thought about what Bryce had just said and asked, "You say you apparently 'hunt' for people like me, what exactly does that entail?"

Yukimaru crossed her arms and continued to look confused as she mulled over everything Black had said to her in her head. [color=01B7FF]"I'm just trying to figure out what 'face value' is even supposed to be, zam."[/color] She replied to Rex. She started to amble back to the apartments as she noticed the time.

"Pretty simple really, look for people who managed to not choke on their own livers when the world went crazy, find out if they've killed people and just generally been an ass to other people who also survived and figured out how to live, and support them if they haven't killed people for fun. Invite them to join the Breakers, or help them found a settlement."

"Whether she ran or not was part of the point..." Majeh replies to Yukino.
He looks to Nemesis. "One day, I hope I escort your soul to Hell."

He thinks for a moment before addressing Yeul. "I suppose you could say so. I just have had a 'blessed' life, I suppose you could say." The irony rather obvious in his remark.

"Have I heard that one before." Nem said in an amused tone at what Majeh said, even smirking a bit.

Rex just shoves his hand into his pockets as he follows Yukimaru. [color=008888] "Eh... True, this is a little too deep for me. All I'm retaining is the other girl wants to kill Black because of insanity." [/color]

Yukino shrugs toward Majeh again and answers him in a nonchalant manner. [color=bb66bb] "Ah. Alright then." [/color] Noting the tension beginning to rise a bit, the foxgirl smiles a bit. [color=bb66bb] Wonder how this would play out... I still want to slash this lady... She just caught me off guard... [/color]

 

[Chungus]

"What do you mean by that, exactly? Blessed in what regard?"

"One's blessing is another's tragedy. No miracle is without a cost. Am I correct?" Caius chimed in. He also agreed with Majeh's statement towards Nemesis, but didn't show it.

 

[Saltyk]

"Unlikely." Majeh says to Nemesis, barely even acknowledging her at this point.

He shakes his head to Caius. "If you mean others received all the miracles... Let's say that I have lived an interesting life."

 

[Drakmorg]

"The world you come from sounds rather savage. I can understand why you are not exactly eager to return." Rozalin commented. She leaned back in her chair and idly looked out the window for a moment, then asked, "What exactly does being a 'Breaker' entail?"

[color=01B7FF]"That's about all I got out of it too, zam."[/color] Yukimaru replied to Rex. She rested her hands behind her head as she continued to walk. [color=01B7FF]"Well that, and the fact that this other girl apparently likes to steal the bones of things, zam."[/color]

"Always with the hostilities." Nem said to herself as she glided to another part of the lobby. She went to the piano that was there and started looking at it.

Rex raises an eyebrow. [color=008888] "Is that so? Creepy...." [/color] He pauses a moment, then puts his hand to his chin. [color=008888] "Then maybe we can find this girl before she finds us. ....Y'kno, catch her off guard." [/color]

Yukino just follows Nemesis with her eyes.

Valvatorez and Fenrich were off in some random section of the city. Valvatorez's wounds from the fight the night before were serious enough to kill any other demon, but Valvatorez held himself together through unfathomable willpower. The high explosive rounds had been the most damaging, the fires from them had burned off his skin completely in areas. He was eating a steady diet of sardines to recover.

You a soldier destroying the little dictatorships that formed in the aftermath of the plague, or defend the right ones that fight for actual values like human equality and the right of all to vote on whether their leader leads, you're a breaker. Simple stuff. We leave the philosophy to the philosophers." Bryce sips at the tea, and says "Its not that bad these days. Since I convinced Asia to join us, we've managed to stomp out most of the worst kingdoms, and got the bureau to agree to a cease fire, so there's no big war left to fight in. Plus, we just finished development on the first FTL ship, and sent it to a near Earth planet. That was a week after I left, so if I return and the gap in time is the same, that means that when I get back we might have begun colonizing a parallel Earth."

 

[Chungus]

"I see. I understand if you do not wish to reveal more." Yeul answer as she walked back to the couch and sat down, resting her hands on her knees and leaning back.

Caius hmm'd in responce to Majeh, although his tone didn't hold contempt. "No. I mean that one person may be bestowed a miracle, it will come at a severe price. And most likely, it is not the one who recieved the miracle that pays it. A miracle may fulfil one person's dream, and shatter the dreams of another. That is what I meant."

 

[Saltyk]

"I used the term ironically, Caius." Majeh explained. "My life has not been blessed."

Nemesis glanced back at Yukino, gave another sly grin, then sat at the piano and started to play. Her fingers gliding across the keys with a practiced grace and elegance.

For a moment, Caius was silent upon hearing Majeh's answer. This is applicable for others also. "Regardles, I felt like I had to make myself clear." he answered, then paused for a brief moment. "The fact that your life is not a blessed one, it has something to do with the fact that you are the "Envoy to the Next Wordl", I take it?"

Quite a bit of what Bryce had said flew right over Rozalin's head, and her expression showed it. "What is The Bureau? Or Asia for that matter? And what does FTL stand for?" Before she could ask, she cut herself off with a yawn. "Oh, pardon me. I am feeling a bit tired. Would you mind if we spoke later?" She said to Bryce.

The thought of waiting for her to make the first move and getting caught off guard by someone who tears the bones out of things is quite unsettling, zam."[/color] Yukimaru replied to Rex with a shiver as a chill ran down her spine. Though the thought of trying to track down another enemy on top of keeping track of the group's current ones was exhausting enough to make her yawn. [color=01B7FF]"Maybe it's something we can work on tomorrow, zam. I've been up since nearly dawn keeping track of our enemies, zam."[/color] She said as she made it back to the apartments.

Majeh paused for a moment. "No. That is a complicated story. Let's just say there is no other place for me in Hell. Though, I shouldn't even be here. I was supposed to be left alone as long as I preformed my duties as Envoy."
