"Is that so. Since you do nothing now I believe you feel no responsibility for what happens here and thus have no reason to help you. But ensure you do not come to harm... Please forgive me..." The voice said as alien glyphs suddenly surrounded Nem's person and she was entrapped in a large purple crystal in which shadows began dancing round her body, binding and restricting her magic as the Disciple entered the Warhammer and approached the only one unaffected by the visions. Her mouth moves for the first time as the voice speaks the next sentence "You remember don't you?" The Prisoner simply glares at the Disciple without making any movements.
On the river bank stood a girl in a purple hood watching as Echo and Anna were swept away.
In the darkened corner of the room in which Rex killed his parents stood a girl in a purple hood.
In the shadows between the burning buildings stood a girl in a purple hood watching as Yukino was yanked by the thread.
At the base of the hill that Valvatorez watched his 'friend' killed from stood a girl in a purple hood watching.
Standing amongst the shadows of the Prison in Hades stood a girl in a purple hood watching as Fenrich yelled with anguish.
As Rozalin is picked up and held in her 'father's' arms, a girl in a purple hood stands some distance away in the snow watching.
As Yukimaru and her brother cling together whilst crying, at the entrance to the cave stands a girl in a purple hood watching.
As Eve is cast to the ground and a voice of pure insanity and girlish glee resounds around the chambers as the figure above her leers down whilst gripping the handle of her blade smashed in the ground, a girl in a purple hood stands watching. She then notices something. Her mouth opens slightly at what she sees before a loud and wet *shluck* resounds around the room.

Rex continues to sob for a few moments longer, then wipes his tears away for the moment. I'm still alive... I guess.... Should make this life count for something... rather than just waste it in despair. With his initial brooding over with, Rex finally hears Erica's voice. "Sparky... We're not alone in here...." Rex starts to look around the room, rubbing his eyes a bit.
Yukino can barely see through her tears as she's dragged. However, the silhouette from before follows the foxgirl as she's dragged through the forests away from the village.

OOC: Once again, sorry for the wait.

As the mist continued to affect Rozalin and her mark, the mark began to visibly shudder in the air. The cracks along it began to grow and grow until there were four large ones, each reaching towards the center. Once the cracks in the mark all reached the center and touched each other, the mark shattered, creating an audible sound similar to glass breaking. With the mark destroyed, Rozalin began to scream out in reality. She began to give off an incredible amount of power as she clutched her head. Bolts of purple lightning began to rain down from the air within the dome, striking down all around the Warhammer.

The purple hooded figure would find themselves now overlooking a battle-field. At one end, stood a single entity, a person holding two swords out to their side. At the other end, an entire army of blood-thirsty demons stood, baying like hounds for the blood of the only person standing opposite them.

Then the demons charged, and the singular Entity simply stood its ground. Once the demons were within striking distance, the battle began.
And just as quickly as it had started, it was over. The lone Entity stood alone once again, surrounded by the bodies of its adversaries. It stood completely unperturbed, blood dripping off its blades as several bodies lay at its feet, with the rest scattered around the battlefield. The lone Entity stood alone once more.

Then, the scene played out once again for the purple hooded figure, though there were enough difference to tell it was a completely different battle, a different setting, different foes, yet the results were exactly the same. The solitary Entity always stood solitary at the end.

The scene plays out once again, though this time, the Entity isn't alone. One person stands at their side, seeming ready to help. The battle plays out, and once it is over, the second being strikes out at the first. The first Entity slays the second just as it did the hundreds of other beings that had attacked it.

The scene plays out dozens of times, then hundreds, then thousands, each one varied enough to be obviously recognizable as a different battle. If the purple hooded figure were keeping track, the scenes would count well into the hundreds of thousands, possibly even the millions.
Yukimaru continues to hug her wounded brother. She was unaware of anything else in the world, not caring or capable of doing anything but crying.

The voice continues to speak to the Prisoner as the Disciples mouth moves. "I could make you forget. Release you from your torment and bring you an everlasting peace that this existence will not permit."
The girl does not move as Rex looks around the room and continues to watch him from beneath her hood, her face obscured by shadows.
The Disciple watches the many battles replay over and over in the multiple locations and can't help but have the niggling feeling at the back of her mind. One that suggests too many for the subject of the living nightmarish truth whilst the other contradicts and suggests she is a kindred.

As Rex finishes drying his face off, he spots the girl in the corner and cracks his knuckles. "...Who are you?"
Yukino finally stops getting dragged as she ends up in a clearing quite a bit away. As she continues crying and shivering in that spot, the silhouette picks her up and begins carrying her back toward the village and the girl.

As the bolts of lightning continued to strike around the Warhammer, massive amounts of dark energy began to cascade out of Rozalin's body. Then, a lightning bolt formed within the cabin of the Warhammer and struck Rozalin in the head. With a massive flash of light, Rozalin's body seemed to vanish.

The last battle plays out for the purple hooded figure to see. A fight between over a thousand powerful demons, hundreds of which were strong enough to destroy entire planets, and the singular Entity. The battle plays out much the same, but this time, two figures are left. One stands on its knees before the singular Entity.
"Dammit!...Why am I still alive? Why haven't you killed me yet?"
"You aren't even worth the effort."
"I raised an army against you!"
"And your army proved useless. Now begone, before I change my mind and find that mouth of yours capable of boring me to death."
The kneeling and wounded figure limps off, muttering curses under its breath. As a final insult the lone Entity turned its back on the injured one.

Five spikes hovered over the shoulder of the Disciple as she seemed to hesitate slightly whilst standing in front of the Prisoner waiting for any sort of cue. She didn't seem to register the lightning bolt when it struck Rozalin or the flash of light that came after.
The girl looks at Rex. "I... am the Disciple..." replied a voice that seemed to come from the walls.

OoC: @Nile: I'm off after my next post.

Rex looks back at the girl, ignoring the odd direction of the voices. "Disciple? Of what?"
Yukino continues to get carried as the silhouette makes it back to the village and confronts the hooded girl. The voice is that of Skye's. "So you're the cause of all this. I suppose I should thank you for giving me more insight on my host. Mind telling me just what you are?"

The Rookie groaned, but for the most part stayed still as he dreamt.
The Rookie saw his parents smiling at him from above as he pointed at Earth, and it seemed that a great weight had lifted from his mind. Then the dream changed, and he felt a small clump at the back of his head as he greeted his parents, just having enlisted to the UNSC. His parents were happy but while they smiled, their eyes showed only worry. He felt the thrill of preparing for battle for the first time, carefully packing his gear in his backpack.
Then the vision changed, and his mind felt a lot heavier as he looked out a viewport at the charred planet he'd been on just hours ago. He felt immeasurable sorrow as he realised that millions, if not billions, had lost their lives there. The pain increased as he remembered how many of his friends were amongst them.
OoC: I'll edit in a vision & nightmare here as well, then.

Saber happy dream: Saber looked around and noticed he was in a throne room but not just any old throne room he was in one of an best friend who was a king he'd swore to protect he looked forward and saw "my king" he said before kneeing, the king took out his sword and placed it on Saber's shoulder then placed it on his other shoulder "rise commander you and the 13th Legion are now the commanding force of the royal army" says the king as Saber stands up

Saber nightmare: his dream changed and Saber was on a battlefield, bodies were everywhere and then Saber suddenly realized these bodies were wearing the armor of the 13th Legion they have been destroyed in battle suddenly Saber looked up and when he saw it he dropped to his knees as he saw his best friend, his king impaled on spears sticking out of the ground he let a cry of pain, sorrow and grief which was more feared by the enemy than the deepest battle drums
this is Saber's reaction to the 13th legion being destroyed and seeing the king dead expect Saber doesn't get pull back as the captain in the video if you get what i mean.

OoC @Nile: Mindscrews? I'm just gonna type one out too. Just pretend they happened at the same time the others did. :p

When the masacre raged on, and screams filled his ears, Caius found himself wishing those under attack would die already, if only so that the screaming stopped. Although he didn't show it, the sounds bothered him greatly. When the mist began surrounding him and blocking him off from everything else around him, Caius raised his sword, assuming whatever was cojuring the mist up would attack from it. When everything turned white, Caius closed his eyes, the glare overwhelming.
When Caius opened his eyes again, he found himself standing exactly where we was before the mist began surrounding him. However, there was no sign of the Deciple and her Wraiths, nor any of the unfortunate citicens of Troika. The group too, was gone. Fearing for Yeul's life, he entered the Warhammer. "Yeul?!" He called out, his usual stoic face and neutral tone of voice clearly showing concern. Hearing Caius, Yeul stood up from a chair she was sitting in and turned to him. "The others. They are gone. Spirited away by the one attacking." she explained, walking closer to Caius.
Seeing Yeul was safe, Caius blew a sigh of replied and placed his sword on his back. "I see... Why did the same not happen to us?"
"We were outsiders, ones who showed no hostility. The assailant saw no need to kill us also." Yeul answered, walking to the exit of the Warhammer. "I shall miss our former companions. I enjoyed their company."
"Since they are now gone, shall we go home? I see little reason to remain here now." Caius remarked, following Yeul and looking up at the sky once he left the Warhammer, noting the purple glare that had hung in the atmosphere was gone.
"Yes. I agree with that. There is nothing left to see now."

Caius gave Yeul the faintest of smiles and grabbed hold of her right hand. Soon after, the duo slowly but surely started to vanish until they could be seen no more. They returned to Gran Pulse, appearing on a small nomad village in the middle of a vast plain. After Caius let go of her hand, Yeul walked over to a small house, made of clay and with three windmills on the roof that provided electricity.
"Mother, father. We have returned. Yeul called out, entering the house and wiping her feet on a rug made of rugged hair. Caius followed after Yeul, but stopped near the door opening and leaned against it. This feels... odd. Something is off here, yet I am uncertain what...

Hearing the voice of their daughter, a couple emerged from the living room. Both the man and the woman were dressed in tribal-esque clothes, with contemporary elements present. Curiously, neither shared Yeul's hair colour, with the mother having blonde hair, and the father brown.
"It's so good to see you again, dear!" The mother said, walking over to Yeul and giving her a warm hug. "How was your trip?"
"It was enjoyable, but I am glad to be home regardless."
"Glad to hear you had a good time. Now, I hope you've brought something back with you for your old man!" the father jokingly remarked.
Yeul chuckled and shook her head. "No, sorry. The gift shops were... closed, so to speak."
"We do have plentiful stories to tell, however. The place we been to, it was an odd one."
"Stories! There couldn't be a better gift! I'm looking forward to hearing all about these past few days." The father exclaimed.
"Yes. We'd love to hear about your travels. From both of you." the mother chimed in. "Perhaps dinner would be a good time for stories.
"I can agree to that. It would be the first time we had some propper food since we left." Caius remarked, his tone of voice now carrying a hint of joy. He still believed something was off, still couldn't out his finger on what. Eventually, he put the thought out of his mind.
Later, in the evening, Caius, Yeul and her parrents sat ousside onder the starlit sky, infront of a campfire. Caius and Yeul took turns telling them all about their time in the Expance while both enjoying their favority Pulsian dishes. Yeul had a bowl of suggered Flan, while Caius had a Behemoth steak. This continued for quite some time until Yeul became too tired and went to bed. Her parrents went back inside not long after, but Caius remained seated, staring into the fire. He feared what would happen the next day. Knowing that there would be nothing he could do about it, he too went to inside and fell alsleep.

At dawn, when the first rays of sunlight shined through the window in Yeul's room, Caius was awakened by Yeul gently shaking him.
"Y-yeul? What is the matter?" Caius asked groggily, not being used to waking up after Yeul did.
"I couldn't sleep. I'm too excited. Do you not know what day it is?" Yeul asked, crouching down infront of Caius, smiling.

"What day it..." Caius trailed off when it dawned on him. "Happy birthday, Yeul." he staed, although there was a hint of sadness in his voice, that even though he tried his best to hide it, still showed.
Yeul's smile became brighter. "There is no reason to be sad. I am free."
Caius' eyes widened, shocked by the news. "That is wonderful news... But... How?" he asked incredulously.
"I do not know. Perhaps there was something that that mist when we were on that other world?" Yeul mused, tilting hear head slightly. "It does not matter why. I am just glad that it happened."
"As am I..." Caius replied, not sounding paticularly happy, despite his words. Now I see what felt off. This is but a ilusion... A familiar trick, even. I should have noticed it earlier... Looking at Yeul who was still smiling brightly, Caius couldn't help but smile also. Seeing Yeul happy, it was his greatest wish. A ilusion this may be... It is a pleasant one. Perhaps tere is no harm in enjoying it for a little while longer...

The rays of sunlight coming through the window ceased to be when thick clouds moved infront of the sky, this darkened the room. Yeul stood up and walked over to the window. "It looks like it will rain today. No matter. This will be a enjoyable day no matter the weather, I am sure of it." Yeul turned to Caius again and gave another smile, then left her room to find her parents. Caius stood up, stretched and followed.
As Yeul approached the bedroom of her parents and gently pushed the door open, she found their beds to be empty. Searching the living room, there were no sign of Yeul's parents either.

"Odd... I wonder where they went?" Yeul mused aloud.
"Perhaps they went out to hunt--To catch a meal fitting of your fifteenth birthday." Caius suggested.
"Let us wait for them outside, then."

As the duo left the house, they were greeted by small drops of rain falling on their faces. As more clouds moved infront of the sun, it became steadily darker, making it next to imposible to see any movement on the plains in the distance. after looking around for a moment, Yeul turned back to Caius, her smile gone. For a moment, the golden sigils flashed on her eyes. Seeing this, Caius was filled with dread.
"I was wrong..." After the sigils disappeared, Yeul went limp. Just managing to catch her as she fell, Caius was looking right into Yeul's eyes, now devoid of life. What he feared became a reality afterall, Yeul died on her birthday.
After a while of looking at the now lifeless Yeul, Caius began walking into the distance, still holding Yeul's body. "How many times more must I see this?"
Like he had done before, Caius slowly began vanishing, taking Yeul's body with him. Fading, Caius reappeared in a beach, the sands pearly-white, while the sea was an ethereal blue that grew more dark in shade the further it was away form the shore. Walking into the water until the point where he was submerged up to the chest, Caius gently placed Yeul's body in the water. "Another Yeul laid to rest. Another oath failed to uphold... How much more?"
As Yeul's body drifted into the distance, Caius made his way back to the beach, tears streaming down his face.
Yeul sat in the Warhammer, her back pressed against a wall, her eyes closed and with her fingers plugged in her ears in an attempt to block out the screams of terror and anguish. Although she was not unaccustomed to death, even on a large scale such as this, it still greatly disturbed. As the fog began surrounding her and blocking out the noise, she didn't even notice it at first.
When she opened her eyes and pulled out the fingers from her ears, Yeul was greeted with a familiar sight, that of her village. She was overlooking it, as she was sitting in a tall tree at the edge of the village. Looking down at herself, she found that she was quite a bit shorter and wasn't wearing the same clothes as before. "What...? What is this?" she said to herself, utterly confused. Her voice sounding much more child-like.

"Found you, Yeul!" Another child-like voice rang out. Looking to where the voice came from, Yeul spotted a boy, roughly ten years of age. wearing simple beige shorts and a blue t-shirt. She recognised the boy as one of her of her childhood friends. "Up in a tree isn't a very good place to hide, you know? You're sure to be seen that way!" Yeul could do nothing but but incredulously stare at the boy, still utterly confused. "Are you alright? You look like you've seen a C'ieth!"
"No.. I am fine." Yeul answered the boy, climbing out of the tree and suting herself off. How is this posible... One moment I was in that ship... and now I am back home?
As Yeul stared into the distance, the boy scratched his head, wierded out by Yeul's behaviour. "So... Wanna go for another round? This time, you'll get to search!"
Yeul shook her head. "Maybe later. I think I will go for a walk."
"Oh, alright then. See you later, Yeul!"

As Yeul walked arounf the village, she was greeted by several familiar faces, some of wich she hadn't seen in a while, as they had left the village at some point. Her confusion was being replaced with bliss as she saw each face, her mind drifting back to happier time, hardly aware that she was reliving those very memories.

Eventually, Yeul returned to her house where she was greeted by Caius was was leaning against the wall, his arms crossed.
"You did not look like you enjoyed yourself out there. Is anything wrong?" he asked, crouching down infront of the younger Yeul.
"It is nothing. I was just... wondering something." Yeul replied as she sat down on the doorstep and started rubbing her nose. This is odd... Pleasant, but odd.
For a time Yeul sat where she was, watching the villagers go about their business while thinking back on early memories. Her train of thoughts was interupted as she, what was then for the first time in her life, recieved a vision of the future. The golden sigils appeared in her eyes as various images flashed before them. She saw the fortunes and misfortunes of countless people, none of wich she knew save for a handful. She witnessed countless death, both natural and untimely, and eventualy, she saw the date of her own death. As the visions passed, Yeul stared off into the distance, struck by horror as she released the memories of the terror she felt when back then, the fact that she had several other visions of the future since then did nothing to lessen the shock.

OoC: Nightmares as well? ok then

It was back on earth, in the country Japan. Mato was asleep in her bed before the alarm turn on and woke up her, she sat up in her bed and looked out the window. "Was that....just a dream?..." She wondered, she checked her phone to see a message from Yomi, it read as such. I'll be waiting at the usual spot for you, see you then Mato put her phone in her pocket and stood up. "I guess...it really was a dream then...." She mused out loud, got ready for school and walked to the usual meeting place. where Yomi was standing there smiling.

Black had woke up on the floor, a place too familiar for all the wrong reasons, she had been damaged pretty harshly as she struggled to get back up. "Is that all? so much for the Legendary Black Rock Shooter" A girl taunted, holding a white scythe. "D-Dam...you..." Black said, then fell back to the ground. the Girl loomed over her. "You should now by now Black....that no matter how Black the shadows are.....they will always be consumed by the white light...." The girl said, Black's vision went blurry.

Much like Black's vision, it was Mato and Yomi hanging out together once more. Just having fun at school, shopping around town and standing in there meeting place, while the sunset on the both of them.

After witnessing the Girl, smash the crap out of Black, D.master rushed over to Black and picked her up slightly, shaking her body. "Black...wake up....please...JUST WAKE UP!" She said, as the tears fall down her face. "It's seems she has gone to a deep sleep.....oh that is too bad...." The girl mocked, then grabbed D.master by her throat. "It would be cruel for me to leave you alone in this world.....return to her....by my blade..."

Holly was walking around a grassland, she came across a house and saw a man step out of it, the man had brown hair, wearing a blue shirt with blue jeans and was very.....Blocky. Holly took some TNT out of her pocket and sneaked around the premier of the house, stick the TNT to each corner of the building. She then ran back to her plunger and waited for the Blocky fellow to return home. Once he returned home, Holly Pushed down on her plunger, which cause the house to explode it to quite a few blocks. "HAHA! GOT YOU STEVE!" She said happily, then skipped away. The Block man sighed and started to repair his house.

She was skipping around in the some tunnels and spying on this Blocky fellow, who was mining some diamonds out of the wall. "Nice diamondssss you got there...be a ssshame if sssomething happened to them..." She said as she threw her stick of TNT, the stick landed near the fellows feet, but gave a little fizz and didn't explode. Holly started to panic and run away. "I wasss joking Sssteve! honest!" She said, but tripped up on one of the bits of coal on the cave floor, the Blocky fellow loomed over her holding a diamond sword. "No...please...." She said before getting hit and badly cut up by the Blocky head fellow.

OoC: @David Woon: Welcome to the thread! (Though I really shouldn't be saying that, since I myself just came back.) Sadly, we've got a time freeze going on, waiting for the GM to come back. In the mean time, you could check out our chat group, if you feel you've still got some sanity to destroy. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/We-Are-Our-Avatars-OOC-Group

Is your character on the Warhammer by any chance?
