The shots from the turret pinged off of Metznik's armor. He laughed. "Do you really think that your simple weapons can rival ceramite?" Metznik strolled through thee gunfire and took cover behind a building, bullets shattering the bricks.

"The only thing that's on my mind right now is, what kind of conflict did we step into? The hostilities are much higher than I expected yesterday."

OOC @Whodat: If the melta is a beam would it be similar to a laser beam and if so pierce the armour where it contacts rather than disintegrate the whole set of armour at once?

@Rosh: Oh god it just broke again whilst I was checking it out...

Valvatorez crossed blades for a few moments before saying "I promise, you will know despair!" He stepped back and held up his hands, above it a swirling black vortex appeared, pulling the elite, and himself inside it. From the outside it looked as if a pulsating black orb shaped cloud had formed over where the Elite and Valvatorez had been fighting. On the inside, all the Elite could see was miles and miles of blackness, with a thick fog the only thing other than pure darkness. A feeling of pure despair and loneliness surrounded the area as if it was a living thing. What was in reality only a few seconds seemed to last for years to the Elite. A voice whispered to him from what seemed like right next to him, but Valvatorez was nowhere to be seen "I give you one chance to surrender" The bullets that hit the black orb stopped mid flight, then were slowly sucked into the orb


Fenrich, who was busy chuckling at the house and family he had destroyed, did not notice the turret and was struck multiple times all over his body. He managed to jump a small distance into an alleyway and sat against a building for cover, and clutched at his wounds

Upon hearing the report comming from Edgar's radio, Balthier laid down on the sands on his stomach and looked down the sights, aiming for one of the soldiers operating a turret. "I suggest we make use of the element of suprise and strike the most imediate threat down before they can react. How good is your aim, princess?" he asked, then added, "If you recall, it was them who brought the conflict to you, Edgar."

OoC: @Nile It's entire chest cavity would be melted, not only is the melta a laser, but it's the sheer amount of heat that comes off of it is like a miniature sun. So that thing would either be liquid or incredible hot metal.

Bullet looked over at Royce and sighed in her drunken stupor. She lay down in her bed and sighed. "Maybe... I'll never be done until I have my revenge..."

Ryu watched the fight from afar. He closed his eyes and thought back...

"Don't you see, Ryu? You're the same as me. They're weak, pitiful, and pathetic."

He opened his eyes once more. "I never believed that. Though, I must admit that I do wonder if you were right about other things..."

@Slenn: So many people love that fight. Personally, I always liked the Goku versus Cell fight better. It was a much better and more entertaining battle as they were more evenly matched.

"Um...Okay." Royce said. He was going to leave, but then curiosity got the better of him and he asked, "Why do you want revenge? What about?"

OoC: @Rosh The gun is a combi weapon, so it's a very 'last resort' kind of thing. It's only got about 3 shots, and the bolter only has a couple of clips which are about 20 shots a piece, even though it sounds like a lot of firepower, it really sin't that much.

"My aim is impeccable! It must be if I'm to properly use this gift that my father gave me. To let my aim falter would simply be an injustice to the name of Overlord Zenon." Rozalin boasted to Balthier as she fished her gun out from her bag. "Though I would prefer it if we were to simply not get involved, I sadly do not believe that we have that option any longer." She added as she also started to take aim at a target.

"May I join in the firing squad?" Edgar said. And he pulled out his auto crossbow and archery gloves. He also attached a sniping scope to the end of the crossbow.

"We're aiming for the turrets right?"

"NoooOOOOothing of your concern... Juuuust.... go away..." Bullet said, turning her back to Royce. Despite her slurred talking, there was a hint of sadness in her tone.

@Who: Bolter's are minirocket launchers of nearly a calibur for bullet before firing. I read the specs before, how the hell do ANY remains... well remain?

@Rosh: When they hit, they hit. But for the sake of RP they can miss as often as the GM would like. I just point and shoot, he decides where the bullets go. The rounds are also quite slow, so, if someone has good reaction time, or teleportation, they could dodge the rounds.

Ze Captain left Royce and Bullet to themselves, with a last "Don't get too involved now, soldier," and left, completely oblivious to the fighting going on outside.

"Yes. My aim is on the one on the the left." Balthier said to Edgar. "If you wish to avoid conflict, be my guest, princess. I however, have my sights set on the reward that there is to be had. And these are surmountable odds." he said to Rozalin as he readjusted his aim. "Whatever you choose, be ready. I am going to take the shot." Balthier then warned her, and to a lesser extend Edgar before firing at the gunman.
