Bryce sighed again when Echo freaked, and pulled off his duster to cover Alex's body.

OOC: @Nail Yep, that's it. He wasn't really going to be this big scary dude like Alex Mercer. Alex Mercer has that job covered better then Alex Cross ever would. He was just this sad, tortured soul that knew he needed to die for the improvement of humanity. It's also another cut string for Bryce.

Yeul blinked twice, then looked at the gore-coated floor, then towards the woman. "Odd..." Although she didn't know what a golem was, she understood what was said.

"Do you know her?" Caius asked Arakel, stepping forward.

Echo crawled over to a corner and covered her eyes, shaking rather violently.

Black opened her eyes again to see Echo fall off her chair, she sighed annoyed. "That's why I said do it outside!" She muttered, then walked over to Echo. "Are you ok?....I'm also sorry you saw that..." Black said to Echo.

The woman lets out a scream, which slowly lowers in pitch. Her hair begins to recede to around half its length, and her jaw darkens.

OoC: Also, if this had happened in Salty's thread, the group would've, at the very least, been banned from nearly every inn in the nation.

Yeul gave the women a curious look as she began changing.

Rex smiles as he takes a paper plane and does what Holly says. Sadly, the plane does a loop-de-loop in the air, then nosedives into the ground. Seeing that, he scratches the back of his head again. [color=008888] "Heh... Completely intentional..." [/color]

Yukino throws the body into the middle of the street, unfazed by the gore already around, and burns Alex's body. As the body burns, Alex's soul shifts into her blade. The virus sits beside Yukino and sobs a bit. She simply scoffs at it.

The figure completes the change, straightens out and cracks his neck.

"S-s-saw that..." Echo said, still covering her eyes. She bent over and started gagging, but since she hadn't eaten in a while, she had nothing to vomit up.

We'd already be the planets most wanted for one reason or another.

Bryce pulls himself out of the chair and finds a place next to Echo, sitting with her. "I'm sorry it ended like that."

OoC: @Nail I actually prefer it with him just dying, no great big last battle, no fighting against it, just an unsatisfying end for pretty much everyone involved. Reflects what I was looking for when I made his character, the complications of being human in what might as well be a fantasy setting. And yeah, thank god unions haven't been invented in this world yet.

OoC @Outis: That's true... I swear, if in the coming thread, the group will act the same way like the do here, it's gonna be a hella short journey for them.
@FPS: You mean to say this isn't a fantasy setting? Could've fooled me.

"I see. Curious. I have never heard of a tool made of flesh." Caius answer, now also looking at the woman who has just turned into a man. He wasn't paticularly bothered by Arakel's cold tone, hardly being a man of great empathy himself.

Yuel's curiosity increased as she saw the woman changing into a man.

Black gave a small sigh, then knelled down to Echo. "I really am Sorry.....at least he died with his honor intact...." She said to Echo, her voice sounding slightly depressed. "Life and Death...It's just how this cruel world works unfortunately..."

Holly picked up the Plane. "At least you did a loop-de-loop! that was pretty Good!" She said ot Rex smiling, then threw it herself. the plane just glided around a little in a 360 turn before dropping to the floor.

Rex smiles a bit as he watches the plane fly around. [color=008888] "Yeah, I guess..." [/color] He picks up another one and flies it straight. It ends up landing near Echo. [color=008888] "Woah, who's the new girl?" [/color] Rex tilts his head a bit as he asks Holly.

Yukino turns her attention toward the man in the golem and Arakel. [color=bb66bb] "And who is that?" [/color] She points toward the man.

"Can't pretend that wasn't brutal for him to go through, but it's better then the alternative." Bryce slides down the wall to pat her back as she wretches.

OOC @Nail I meant where I wrote him. Despite the use of technology in the stories, its very much high fantasy and magic and adventuring, tempered by darkness and technology.
