Blake boarded the airship with his soldiers, making his way to the bridge at the top of the ship.
"Unlikely. Even a master of Fire magic couldn't easily destroy a city that large. And the airship would be shot out of the sky, before long. It's a fairly large target... Should we board as well? We'll likely be left behind, otherwise..." Savranth answered Noel.

"Xiphatia. A few months back they attacked a small border village. It was completely destroyed. No one survived. It was small, and probably barely a hundred people lived there, but that is not the point. They attacked us and violated the Peace Treaty with such barbarity that we MUST react to this. This can not go unanswered." Bellerophon spoke, his tone remained fairly even, though. Another man would probably get emotional at this.

"This is exactly why my family have always turned the strength of our arms to hunting. These men are going to go off to war against the Legaians and hundreds are going to die, because this lunatic has told them that its right? Spirits, what good can come from this type of man commanding all these soldiers?"

"May I raise a possibility? Perhaps it was either a splinter faction operating of their own accord? Or maybe a group in disguise trying to get you to do this? Some rebel forces with a gruesome disposition? As I've said, I just came from there, a military base in fact, and if they HAD made sch an attack, it would mean they plan a campaign against you, and yet no such plans were being made. He walked back to where the ground was dry, while at the same the projections walked towards the fearie, and by doing so, masked the sounded of the real Loki moving away. "Only I tend to win at games of this nature. Do not fault me for surpassing you in the arts of deception. And I do strongly advice against attempting to fight us. You have lost once this night already. It would be simply disgraceful if you did a second time. Be wise, release my companion and hear my request."

"None of them are really any good though. Spirits damn it, everything I've done in my life was supposed to help save lives, not destroy them. Fine. Let's just get on board."

Noel walked over to the medical tent as Charlotte decidedly got up, the pain on the right side ebbed away.
"You're quite welcome, and you may come again if you wish, but for now, we have a war to avert" Sable says to Ness magic-telepathically, and then says to Bellerophon "Is there any way that this could be resolved without bloodshed? Any sort of agreement that could solve this? After all, while one of your villages may have been destroyed, if you attack, all that will happen is that lives will be lost. Your men can just as easily turn into 'the monsters that butchered that small, innocent village' begetting yet more conflict. Back in my world, there has been war for as long as I have been a consciousness, and while my home still stands, countless of the attackers are now dead, and their families grow to hate s even more, making a vicious cycle of assaults. It's too late for Castlewood, but not too late for you."
