Ness tilts her head at Arron's transformation. This must be what she meant by... at the moment. Interesting... "I see. That's quite an ability you have, Arron."

She nods toward Blair. Chalk one up to the anomaly... "I see... None of us are from around here... or this world for that matter, so you're not alone. I think we have someone you should talk to..."

Yawning, Rex wakes up and jumps off the roof of the ruined house he had climbed on. He slowly starts making his way toward the hotel.

Suddenly, a portal opens up in the library and an arm snatches the still-snoozing Yukino, making it look like she was never there.

Tao and Noel ate, then Tao wandered away, satisfied. She came across the hotel crowd and crept up behind Makoto.

Echo shifted uncomfortably at Blair's copycat comment.

Dal'Sheed shrugged. "Well, I can't bad mouth a scientist for doing their work. Is it possible I could request an interview? I'm looking for clues in relation to the altar near the center of the continent. Texts so far have led me to this location for sources regarding a civilization that might have lived around 20,000 years ago and ended 5,000 years ago."

As the pod hit the atmosphere, things went catastrophically wrong. Marcus, sweating profusely from the heat the pod was generating in its reentry, started inane mutterings as all the systems shut down around him. "Frack, frack, frack, Huntress fracking dammit, I swear to the black warrior himself that if I die helping that *****..." a hiss came from his compatriot, and he nodded. "Yes, I'm well aware its my own damn fault for not checking it had Electro magnetic producers. wonder if they're a natural phenomena or something built by defenders..." his compatriot barked, and he jolted, quickly moving about the cabin. "Right, right, time to frack anything that won't keep us alive. Warrior knows how far we've already drifted off course."
Over Pewtercove, the teardrop drop vehicle could be seen, rapidly plunging for just outside of town.

Lyra also saw this course deviation, and began running back to Pewtercove as fast as her legs would carry, cursing under her breath as she went.

Blair's ears pricked up a little. "Meet someone? who's that?" She asked Ness, interested.

"I never mentioned I trade between the nations." Loki replied, stopping but not turning around. "I simply do deals in both. And this is the way I would like to keep it. Needless to say, being detained upon setting foot in either nation because I presumably helped another is detrimental to that cause."

"Oh but I make your look, look way better." She said to Blair taking off the impersonation. She than turned to Ness "Don't tell any one though or you might just end up stir-fried"

Jona just stared at Savranth. The miming may have been enough to get across the request for a name to him, but it wasn't going to bring back his full understanding of English. He frowned as he tried to make some sense of Savranth's words, then shrugged and lowered his head, shaking it.

Cynane smiled.
"You do have the look of someone who can take care of themselves, and other people too." She said. "I've seen that look before. Granted, you're dressed like a Kokoto scholaress, and the tail... doesn;t exactly scream 'I'm not to be fucked with, but you seem... confident. You hold yourself like the hunters that I mix with in the guild." She then saw movement over Makoto's shoulder.
"Uh... speaking of tails, watch yours."

"Ah, save your energy. I'll come find you if it gets any worse." Jessica replied to Savranth.
She looked over at Jona having a hard time pronouncing Savranth's name and said to him, with a sympathetic tone, "It's alright, his name is kinda hard to say." She wiped more sweat from her brow and yawned, then said to Savranth and Jona, "Well, I'll just leave you two to get to it." She walked off into the hotel, then went up to her room. Finding herself feeling exhausted, she practically collapsed onto the bed and fell asleep.

"Nyeh! like hell you did!" Blair said to the shape shifter, crossing her arms and flicking her tail in annoyance.

Ness shakes her head at Arron, a little annoyed. "Please... don't threaten me. I'm sure people will learn of your abilities if you keep showing off."

She nods toward Blair. "Yes, she's a catgirl... like you. She may be able to assist you in getting back to your own world... if you wish to return, that is. That's the same for you, Ms. Arron."

Noting Echo shifting a bit, Ness sighs slightly.

Rex watches what's going on near the front of the hotel with some interest.

Savranth frowns at Jonah. However, his attention is caught by something bright in the sky. "Now what?'

"Well, the lab is a bit North of here. Right outside the government Headquarters. You can try, but she's a bit... strange. Really obsessed with her work. So, you might find her a bit difficult to get through to." The guard explains. "If you can, do you think you can convince her to give it back to us?"

"Well, that's just the thing. No one does business in both nations. So what do you have to gain by doing so? That could get you branded a traitor, you know... Which nation do you hail from, again?" Lazarus inquired.

"I honestly belive that if it wasn't for a few freinds of mine, I wouldn't have made it through the military Academy. And I met my girlfreind... well, she prefers the term "lover"... in a world mix-up like this one. I owe the world to them. Makoto gave a small smile. "Gotta return the favour, right?" Makoto looked over her tail, and saw Tao. "...is that a Kaka?"

Tao came up behind Makoto and grabbed her breasts. "Ooooooo. Tao's been missing this so much, meow." Tao said excitedly as she played with the breasts.

Echo looked at Ness with a confused expression after seeing her sigh at her.

"Perhaps. But I'll need to see if this artifact will match one of the indentations on the altar. I'm a bit of a science person myself. I studied geology in my field, and this altar has be intrigued. But, otherwise, I'll try and see if she'll give it back." He paused. "If it's a government office, wouldn't I need clearance from an official?"
