A few minutes later, he returned. "All right, then, if you got your rocks off, you can get out of here, mack." Marco said, trying to do as Loki told him.

"May I ask why? not that I really mind..." Blair said to Noel, giving a small, silent chuckle at her cheeks going red.

"Oh, my mistake. The artifact was traded before the war. Other than that, she told me that there might be some other similar artifacts in Rockbyrd. While I explained that it could be possibly connected to the altar, she didn't show any sign of wanting to take it over there to see any reaction. Primarily because the altar is apparently in Xaphatian territory. I thought it was neutral." He shrugged. "She's only interested in researching its energy output and a quantifiable value over it. But since it's an artifact that symbolized peace during a war, and Savranth indicated there might have been a civilization long ago that split into the factions that's supposedly as old as the altar, I think it might be the key to peace on this planet."

Noel slapped Tao's hand like a mother would to a child. "No, you have to ask first." Turning to Blair she said. "Well one of my Bosses really likes cats and cat girls would probably be something amazing for her soo... If you please?" Noel blushed again with a stoic face. Hearing Makoto she said. "What? It would please my Bosses... [sub]And I suppose... make me feel abit happy.[/sub]"

Rita frowned at Charlotte "Don't ignore me! What the hell was that?!" Looking back to Dal she said "Why would something like that be the key to any kind of peace?"

Blair gave a pause before Raising her hands up to her chest and posed like a cat. "Nah it's okay, go for it!" She said to Noel with a wink and took off her hat.

Loki took his card back, slipped it back in his pocket and left without saying anything further. Once outside, Loki grinned and headed north-west, towards the government building to get his bearing. Well now. That was a sucsessful little endeavor. Now, how to best gather more of these credits...

Dal'Sheed shrugged. "Search me. It's only a theory that I have from what I've heard so far. Point one, Savranth said that there was a myth about a civilization that died out 5,000 years ago and split into the Xiphatians and Legaians. Point two, the altar was dated to 20,000 years. Point three, the artifact that was found at the museum coincides with the dates of existence of the civilization and possibly fits into one of the slots in the altar. Point four, the artifact was used as a symbol of peace during the war 20 years ago."

He paused.

"It's possible that the stone could have been used as a ceremonial process. Imbued with the powers of the world. This ancient civilization could have celebrated peace as a practice by imbuing their faith or power into the stone or artifact. It's only a guess."

"Don't yell at me!" she fired back at Rita, gripping her head. Turning to Laguna she said. "... What? No."

Noel smiled and raised her wrist communicator and took a picture of Blair. "Thank you so much!" she happily said, her voice sounding normal-ish compared to before. Then it dropped back as she then said. "Ok then Blair, may I pet you?" Turning to Tao, "... Oh ok then..."

Looking at Makoto she said. "......[sub]Really?[/sub]" Too many big breasts, too many big breasts! Not envious, not envious.... But they are soo soft looking and... Wait what?

Blair took of her hat and smiled. "Good ahead Miss Noel!" She said to Noel, her ears twitching slightly as she lent closer to Noel.

Looking back at Dal she said "An interesting mystery to be sure, but the thing I was originally going to ask about was the laboratory itself. When I walked in they freely admitted that their employees were being killed from the experiments. Normally this wouldn't surprise me, but they wouldn't say what those experiments were. Did you see or hear anything about that?"

"Well... for the record it does surprise me for a scientist. But that's a matter of ethics, and that's not what we're talking about. I didn't hear about the nature of the experiments other than they research high energy and various other things. However I did hear that Lucia had the highest mortality rate of any scientist in the lab. Why she needs individual people to test alternate energy is beyond me. To test safety measures? Lab accidents? Recklessness?" He shrugged.
