Rookie's surgery was a success other than some really close calls and a lack of ham sandwichs for the montage that developed from it.

OoC: @ Zeph, It's discworld logic (Or illogic). This is the death that routinely comes near Ricewind just to screw with his head, even though he doesn't think he'll die. Have you read Discworld? On the Disc, that wouldn't be that surprising for a main character. Not to mention, he has the social skill of a cabbage. I could imagine that happening on Discworld, hell, it probably happens on a daily basis there.

However, earlier, Death entered a hospital, nobody paying attention to him because he was a 7 foot talk skeleton, and everyone knows 7 foot tall skeletons can't walk. He opens a door, and sees @Kirke's character.

Envy continued to walk towards Everwood "W-who's there? Please! I need your help, don't leave me to die just because I'm Legaian! Have a heart!"

OoC: I... don't remember... It's been almost half a year, okay! And I have the memory of a goldfish... Anyway, it's more a joke then anything, and once more, Death doesn't get humans, so he probably wouldn't see anything wrong with it...
Also: That factor applies to death Anywhere...

The 7 foot tall skeleton is tackled and dismantled by security personnel.

Death, after being dismantled, slowly slips away from the hospital, and begins to re-form himself.

Envy would only hear more of the same. The treants that lived in the woods weren't the most intelligent but they were smart enough to know that Legaians and Xiphatians did not mix well together. The treants didn't want any danger to the forest. However some of the imps looked to the solitary man walking through the forest as a perfect opportunity to steal any valuables. Envy would hear amungst the calls of the treants several chuckles from a different set of voices.

 

[Kirke]

The Rookie woke up, and grunted in pain as the wounds had not yet healed completely.

"I very much doubt that. She is interested in one thing and one thing only, and even then could hardly be discribed as enthusiastic."

"That's none of yer damn business." the patron answered. "Now sod off. Go chase after your tail or something."

"Well look who finally woken up. You gave us quite the scare there son. Thought we might have lost you on several insistence." One of the doctors looked as Rookie grunted. "Not I need you to keep still now, we don't need those wounds reopening, now do we."

"Yea, but if that structure is from the same time period as that reactor and core it would line up with her interests."

Envy picked up the pace when he heard the imps laughing. He wasn't frightened, but he made sure he looked like he was. "Oh no, please don't kill me! Someone help!" As he ran he kept a careful eye on his surroundings.

 

[Kirke]

The Rookie nodded meekly, and then tried to move his left arm.

 

[Chungus]

"Well, if you think you can convince that woman of it, by all means try. I most certainly shan't be attempting to do so." Loki stated, then turned away. "Having said that, what shall we do next?" There is little that interest me still here."

"Now why don't I believe that..." the patron grumbled.

Another one sighed and looked towards Rémy. "You're wasting your time. Talking to that man is like talking to a brick. What do you need?"

Death, after re-assembling himself, got up.

[b]T[SMALL]HAT WAS NOT EXPECTED...[/SMALL][/b]

He begins to slip around in the shadows. He begins to walk around the city again, making it so that only those he intends to have notice him, notices him... It's odd, he never had to try to do that before. It usually comes naturally. He slips into a bar, and sits down. He calls to the bartender, after getting dressed in clothing fitting for the area, and slipping his cloak of pure darkness in his pocket. He tries to make it so that he SEEMS human, and succeeds to some extent. The barkeeper should notice him, but feel slightly offput by him. He notices the patron, hear's Remy's story and glares at him.

OoC: The closest thing he has to a disguise is the human weirdness censor, and making himself unseen.

"What will you have?" The bartender asks Death. He didn't quite feel right about this person, but was always willing to earn some Credits.
