"...So, as a temporary measure," Ponder said, "We're going to have to put into action a spell that'll switch out Death with you, you with... The Archchancellor. We'll get each of you back to your respective dimensions as soon as we can."
"Okay, how long will it take to set up?"
"I figure about a few hours, we'll get back to you then."
Tedd nodded, and turned off the Omniscope. It's been about an five hours since Grace has vanished, and he'd quickly been contacted by these Wizards... which, actually, weren't like the wizards from his dimension, and his Dad wasn't home still. "Come on, did it work?" Ponder asked.
"It had to, the Archchancellor's gone."
"Okay, I suppose it'll take a while before Death returns..."
They began to twiddle their thumbs in idleness... Then recoiled from the bright flash of light... to see The Death of Rats in front of them.
Ponder looked at the Death of Rats.
"... Well crap."
"Hey, at least we got A death."
"Not the right one!" he shouts at them, "God, Susan's going to be-"[hr]
