Icarus created a powerful tool... I've never heard of such things. But there has to be a hole in the defense. A weakness... Attacks bounce back...

Jessica would find that Everwood was still in the process of being repaired. Some of the beastkin were staying in makeshift homes or the hotel.

Grace looks at Icarus, and sighs, slowly shifting back to her Half-squirrel form.
"In the entirety of histroy, people like you always fail, fall, your confidence blinding you, driving you mad..."[hr]

Tedd continues to go up the stairs with Envy.

Ness looks over at Echo's handwriting and frowns internally. ...Well, there goes that... "Ah... I see why you don't enjoy writing... Would you like to try to use the PDA to type a response?"

OOC: @Salt I would disagree with you on that, genre savvy isn't really breaking the fourth wall considering the world looks like fiction to begin with so some people would jump to conclusions like that since it's nothing like the real world. Also where is everybody

Jessica sighed as she looked at the town and saw that what Sophia had told her was right. She walked into town and waved, making sure to do so with her left hand, trying to get someone's attention.

@demon: Well my character is off in Everwood. I think just about everyone else is in the as-of-yet-unnamed-magical-floating-city-in-the-sky. Oh, and Ness and Echo are off in Lakewest, I think.

"I see?" Echo asked as she looked at Ness quizzically. She pointed to the paper she had written on as if to urge Ness to read it again.

Ness scratches the back of her head as Echo points at the paper again. Eh.... Alright... let's see. She begins to reread the paper, trying her damnedest to make out what Echo was writing.

Rémy's ears lowered, and he snapped his fingers. The bullet let out a deafening bang and a massive cloud of smoke right in Icarus' face.
Rémy used the distraction to run around Icarus, and jump on his back, then he began to bite and scratch Icarus on the chest and neck.

@All: Back... Still in the fight?

Noel and Charlotte continues to fly towards the group fighting Icarus, as Kyosuke charges his blades again yelling "WAR DANCE!" Swinging both arms as they created an eruption of green energy blazing forward. With a path cleared, he charged directly within the eruption, taking no damage from it.

OoC: @trty, that's where Envy was, outside in the city, he found a tower, and is now climbing it

Everwood was still in rather poor shape. While the Xiphatian forces had repaired some small bits of the town and set up some refugee camp, it was far from the place it was before. Jessica would see a beaver beastkin overlooking the town.

OoC: @Drak: Had a post ready to go, and then realized it contradicted something from earlier.

"Then our paths do not split. Well then, how do you propose we go about this? I had in mind we pass on the information we have gathered in our journey through Legaia."

Savranth would see that aside from the one golem on the left that Rex had damaged, all the golems look more or less the same. The subtle diferences only appearant due to his hightened senses. The slightly diferences in them were that some of them had some millimeters less mythril in some areas, likely as a result of the mythril being worked to make the golems.

Icarus looked at Savranth, then at Rex. "Why are you simply standing there? Go on! Entertain your king!" Both Rex and Savranth were placed under the control of the Puppetry magic.

Hearing Grace, Icarus laughed. "And yet, here I am, being dealt the winning hand! When will you learn that this isn't one of your farie-tales? I have already won." Two flies latched on to Grace's arms and lifted her into the air, where a third one latched on to her stomach.

Icarus noted some of Yukino's minor wounds heal and frowns at the sight. "Hmm. Healing, are we? In that case, as much as I like to see you bleed, it's time I take a more direct route." The glow of the second golem on the right faded, as the third one on the right began glowing green. As this happened, Icarus began slowly but surely removing the air in Yukino's lungs.

When the bullet exploded within the shield, Icarus screamed out clutched his head as the bang made his ears ring. Fortunately for Icarus, Rémy hadn't taken into acount that Icarus was surrounded by the shield, and thus, rather then land on Icarus, was send flying back with the same force as he jumped with. Unfortunately for Rémy, he also neglected to do something about the fly that had latched on to him. As Rémy bounced off the shield, the fly inserted an egg into his lower back. Spurred on by Rémy's body heat, this egg hatched, and hundreds of small maggots were now crawling through his flesh.

Envy, Tedd and Dredd reached the top of the stairs where they came across the hallway leading to the throne room, the sounds of battle clearly hearable.

"Damn...." Savranth ran for Rex. As he reached him he twisted, making a slash with the blade in his right hand coming from the left as he spun around.

A Golem grabbed Kyosuke in a bear hug. It looked at him and breathed fire on him.

OoC: Golems = Mechs. Take them lightly at your own risk.

"I suppose that could give them an edge, they could be interested in what Lucia had been working on." replied Rita

Envy turned around to Tedd and Dredd as he kept walking backwards towards the throne room. "Me being reckless? Take a look at yourself, following someone who could easily be dangerous in some city in the sky. You must have a deathwish!"

OoC: Yeah, I'm just going with Envy, in all honesty.

"My girlfreind is technically part magic, Magic is dramatic, therefore, fighting whatever Wizard is making this place float in a tower on a floating island is pretty dramatic, don't you say? And staying with someone who can take down one of those things is a good idea." Tedd said, and turned to Envy, "So, in a way, we're just going in the same direction."
He hears the battle, and nods, "Yep, battle at top of tower." he comments.

Grace sighed, "You might have it now, but it won't last. Someone will take you down, weather it be the two armies working together, a lone farm boy, or even us. Either way, if none of those stop you, the buracracy will, someone will poison your food, something will happen to you. Where your from, this might seem like fantasy, but where I'm from, half of what I said were stories, but many militaries leaders try to lead a country for it to fall into famine, for chaos to reign, rioting in the streets, people dying, until they were either invaded, or poisioned by who they once called friends. Face it, you're doomed, no matter what."
She goes limp, her back still bleeding quite a bit.

Seeing the beaver-person who appeared to be in charge, Jessica tentatively walked over to him. "Um, excuse me? Could you possibly tell me about what's happened here?" She asked.

Well... this sucks... Forced to stand still due to the Puppetry spell, Rex takes Sav's slash to the chest and grunts in pain. "Freaking... Rrrrgh." He wanted to drop to one knee, but he just stood there with a pained expression on his face.

Yukino barely registered the air being taken out of her lungs as she held her scythe out to the side, making a subtle slashing motion. This will have negated the spell Icarus had cast on her. The mist wings on her back seemed to flutter a bit as she continued forward. [color=bb66bb]

 "Petty tricks aren't going to kill me."

[/color] She quickly swings her scythe and launches a pitch black crescent slash toward a golem in front of her. This projectile would negate any sort of magic if it hit.

Ness tilts her head a bit as she reads. "Ah... So you don't know when you two met. Then, could you tell me where you met?"
