"Teach. Useful." Echo said to Ness with a nod and a smile as she waited for her business to be done with.

"More free food, meow? Wow, Tao really loves this new place!" Tao said happily as she wandered around the inn, waiting to be fed.

"That I am. And alas, I have not." Loki asked then paused. "Wich is why I would not ask of this were it not for the fact that I have not a coin to spend. It is... quite embarissing. What businessman would give away a free map? One who would aid those who find themselves lost."

The man outside the inn continued raving, trying to catch the citizens of Lakewest their attention, to no avail.

"Ignore me all you want! It'll come back to ya one day! Then you'll be wishing you'd listened to me!"

One of the citizens that passed shook his head.

"Call me mad all you want! I know I'm right!"

Lyra paused when she saw the madman outside the inn. "So, you're the rambling guy? Lets... What does Dylan say? Oh yeah, lets rap about that abyssal monstrosity, bro!"

"It's absolutely nothing to me, buddy." Adam taunted.

Dal'Sheed decided to intervene. He might as well get the map anyway, it seems inevitable that he will.

"Hold up. Let me help." He walked up to the counter. "I come from a subterrainian city. My friend often delivers me gems and minerals he comes across while excavating new tunnels." He reaches into his satchel, which had a pouch in it full of good luck tokens he keeps, all of which are gems and minerals. He offers a gold nugget about the size of a pea.

"And could I get a map too please?"

Noel started off to find the group. "Oh dear.... Hmmm..." she said, losing slight track of where they were. Closing her eyes, she started to 'hear' for Charlotte. It was rather easy since the girl didn't know much. Finding her, Noel started to walk in that direction.

Charlotte nodded at Thyme smiling alittle for the meal that wouldn't cost more.

Ness smiles as the shopkeeper hands her the gold. "Oh, one last question, do you have a map of the town or the nation we could buy? We're tourists." Hearing Echo, Ness smiles again. "Great! Whenever you want to start, feel free to ask me."

Saya just followed behind Noel, taking her notebook out again she started writing down Noel's general appearance. "Hmmmh" She started to hum to herself.

The Rookie stood up, and headed outside. He glanced around, then headed to the shopping district he'd passed earlier.

Savranth shook his head at Tao. Simpleminded little creature. He walked up to Thyme. "Where is our room?"

Thyme procured a key and came back. "Room 210, on the second floor. Please enjoy your stay."

With the key in hand, Savranth began walking to the stairs.

Thyme looked at Tao. "Relax miss. We'll call you when it's ready."

"You talk of a foolish businessman. I am not one of those. So, borrow a coin from someone or sell something. Come back when you have money. Not before." The Shopkeeper replied. Looking at Dal'sheen the man takes the nugget. "Sure I'll let you have a map, I suppose. This will do." He said, retrieving a map and giving it to Dal'Sheen.

"I do. One Gold, please, miss." He replied to Vanessa.

"You ain't gut nuthin. Another, barkeep!" The patron called for.

"Why, thank you." Loki remarked as Da'Sheed stepped towards the counter. He himself took a step back and waited to see what would happened next. Hearing what the shopkeeper had said, Loki frowned. One day, I shall have you flogged for that comment.

"Eh? You're actually talking to me?" The madman pondered aloud as Lyra approached him. "At last! Someone with an ounce of sense! So, you wanna know about that cursed lake, eh?"

"We shall see." Adam said as he paused between shots. "Are you sure you wouldn't rather save yourself some money and switch to a cheaper liquor?"

after following Noel and seeing her walk off to Charlotte, Saya stood there for a moment before walking back outside and standing outside the building. Saya started to whistle to herself. Her ears pricked up when she heard someone talked about a 'cursed lake', Saya quickly moved to the preaching to investigate.

"Okay then, meow." Tao said as she went to the indicated room.

Ness hands the shopkeep a single gold coin and picks up the map. "Thank you again. Farewell, sir. Let's try to get to the inn, Echo." She walks away from the shop and turns a few corners before scanning the map, just to make sure she doesn't get called out incorrectly for being of the enemy technological nation.

"Ah, great." The fedora girl spots the Rookie and waves at him, hoping to get his attention. Hopefully I can learn more about him...

A few rude remarks ran through Lyra's mind, but she settled on being simple. "Yeah, I am. What can you tell me about it?" after all, insane ramblings are the most reliable forms of quest giving.

If the Rookie walked around, he would find that all the shops sold magical items. Not an ounce of technology to be found in the whole place.

"Thank you." He said with a smile. "But what my friend here says is true. None of us here are from this world."

"Well, we only have one map. So I think it's best we share it with the others." Dal'Sheed said to Loki.

He turned back to the shopkeep. "Also, do you know where I might be able to sell some of my minerals? As well as an inn?"
