Brooke took the four coins, then headed down to the beach and transmuted a handful more, along with a small leather coinpurse. Once she was done, she dashed back to the inn, and offered Paprika one of the coins.

Echo continued her desperate search, crying and silently screaming. She was quite hysterical at the moment.

Brooke was awakened by the sound of a commotion outside. She looked out of the window, and spotted a young girl running around in a panic.
I suppose I should do something to help her...
Brooke climbed out of the window and, after hanging down as low as she could go, dropped to the ground and rolled away from the hotel.
She stood up, cracked her neck, and ran after Echo.

In Lakewest, having been informed of a half-naked teenage girl, seemingly running away from someone, two soldiers were send to the site of the disturbance, where it didn't take them all too long to find Echo. One of the soldiers drew his sword and created a small fireball, which he aimed Blair, who seemed to be chasing Echo, while the other soldier ran up to Echo. "You there! Stand where you are!" the soldier with the sword drawn commanded. Seeing Brooke approach Echo also and seeing her offering Echo clothing, the soldier assumed she aimed to help and did little else about it for the time being.
Echo threw herself behind the two soldiers and tried to catch her breath, still very much afraid and tired.

The soldier who was approached Echo crouched placed his hands on her shoulders when she was near. "It's alright. You're safe now." he said with a calming voice.
"The problem is that a girl is running through the streets, half naked and scared out of her mind. And you appear to be chasing her." the soldier with the sword drawn answered Blair.
