"Um.... I think you're underestimating your target... Imps are mischievous. A dragon maybe a powerful foe, but an Imp will play with you and taunt you... The fire powered ones are even smarter than the normal ones, too." Rica explained.

Death shrugged, and sat there, crossed legged, doing nothing. Eventually, when the soldier returns, he asks:

Tedd continued to run, and turned at a 90 degree angle as the golem chased after him.

Grace recoiled from the attack, and managed to scrape by the axe strike with only a cut to the chest, albeit a fairly deep one.

Noel returns from somewhere carrying Kyosuke and Charlotte towards the battle with Icarus.

"Yeah, I've been here a few times before. I come here on occasion to make use of the library here." Jessica replied to Valetta, not seeming terribly off-put by her demeanor.

Savranth stood up shakily, using his blade to support his weight. He looked to Icarus. Now's a good chance... Electricity arched through his body as he raised his blade. Savranth generated as much as he could and then channeled it into the blade, and then charged at Icarus using Speed Enhancing and Strength magic, hoping to run him through with his blade.

"No. Do I look like I'm old enough to have a granddaughter?" The soldier asked, obviously fairly young.

"That's nice, I suppose. You aren't a student here, though? I'm surprised you're allowed to come and go so freely." Valetta replied. "Weren't you here with others before?"

After collecting herself, Sophia walked out of the training area, the glyphs however as she left only had a slight glow to them, almost not noticeable. Although she was happy for her adept in both water and wind, failing to get anything else to work well seemed to put a damper on the situation.

OoC: @Furi: They are about 10 feet or 3 meters tall. Generally speaking not something that can be taken lightly. The standard battlemechs are about the same.

With a look of surprise Envy yelled out "Shit!" as the golem began falling towards him. Taking a page out of Grace's book, he transformed into a squirrel to dash underneath the huge, long legs he had been right next to before quickly forming back into his usual self.

"Well then, we'll just have to be careful as we fight it. We should be able to handle them though, we're quite a force on our own." Lyra began trouping down the trail from Winterhorn to Lakewest, looking about as she went.

"No, I'm not a student here. And no one's really made much of a point of saying I can't come and go as I please, so..." Jessica simply trailed off and shrugged at Valetta to finish her point. "And yes, I suppose you could say I was here with some others a while ago. I'm pretty much on my own for the time being now though."

"Well, I'm sure she'll be happy your soul gets to rest in peace." The soldier replies.

"I'm just saying we don't get many none students here. Not normally. Especially not to study here. Most of those performing research are professors or accredited here." Valetta explained. "So... Did you abandon them? Or vice versa?"

Rica looked about as they walked. "So where was this person who gave you the job?" she asked Lyra and the others.

Rather then turn around fully, the golem that went for Tedd came to a stop and swung its fist sideways at him.

Seeing Grace hit and stumble backwards, Icarus raised his axe above his head in preperation to land a killing blow. Just as he swung, Savranth charged at him with his sword and ran Icarus through. Losing grip of his weapons, the sword fell besides Icarus' feet, while the sword inbedded itself in the floor, only a couple of centimeters to the left of Grace, having managed to only cut a few hairs as it went down. Sliding of off Savranth's sword, Icarus fell to the ground, twitching as electricity courcedthrough him.

The golem that was facing Envy fell to the floor with a heavy thud, embedding it in the stone floor, making it unable to get up.

Noel dropped off Kyosuke and Charlotte as Icarus started twitching on the ground. "Well..."

Savranth pulls the blade clean and drops it. "Just to be sure..." He created a fireball and threw it at Icarus, followed by another.

"Yes, you are dead, all right..." The soldier replied absentmindedly.

 

[Furioso]

"Really? And how would you do that?" asked Rita curiously

Envy approached Icarus "Oh wow, aren't you ruthless!" commented Envy to Savranth

Tedd ended up flung quite a bit, and landed on the ground, acheing He points his TF gun at it, and turns it to the "Sheep" Setting, immobilizing it for a short time. He tries to get up, but his leg... Well, it broke.
"Gah!" he shouts.

Grace slowly gets up, and begins to walk to Icarus. She grabs him, and punches him across the head, knocking him out.
"Remove the sword," she says, "And help my boyfriend. I want to tell him something, if he's still alive."
