Tao would find the Dining Room on the first floor.

A woman with red hair kept in a bonnet answered the door. "May I help you?" She asked Dal'Sheen.

"What do you want? I have paying customers to deal with, I should hope." The shopkeeper remarked annoyed.

Roland made sure no one was coming into the store.

"I'm not sure, but I think the General wanted him to go see the world or something." The secretary replied to Jessica.

Adam would soon find his way to the man's home. It wasn't particularly nice. The man obviously spent more on booze than furnishing.

"hmm. Let me see, I suppose the water snake should be my first to take down. You say he's in the lake right?"

"Let's see if you have anything that might sober you up..." Adam muttered, rummaging through the drunkard's cupboards, leaving the man himself in a small chair to rest.

As he left, he was able to hear the last bits of the shopkeeps' annoyance before the conversation became out of earshot.

"Hello, I'm looking for a place to stay for the night." He said.

Rita followed Tao to the dining room and began eating

"Alright then." Jessica simply replied to the secretary. "Say, I need to know a bit more about this place...Alnilam I suppose. Could you answer some questions about that for me, Miss..." Jessica sounded as if she were trailing off, giving the woman a chance to introduce herself if she cared to.

"Yes, yes. This will take but a few seconds, I assure you." Loki remarked, stepping back to the counter. After looking over his shoulder to see if any passers-by could see him, and noted this was not the case, with Roland blocking the view, Loki extended his right arm and gently poked the shopkeeper on the chest with the blade of the scepter. As happened with Roland before, a blue glue streamed out of the gem, into the shopkeeper, turning his eyes pure black for a second. When it passed, his irises were a slightly lighter colour then they were before. "Now, since I liberated you, returned you to your natural state--Will you not reconsidder giving me a map of this world?"

"That it is, the pest. Bring it down--bring any of them down, and I'll give you 50 gold. Each!" Chafla explained. "[/b]However![/b] Once they're slain, they will desolve and leave their hearts behind, the heart in question being made of crystal. Bring those to me as proof of the act."

"Okay then. See you in a bit." Lyra began walking down to the lake front, seemingly oblivious to the rain pouring down on her head. suddenly, she thought if he's so crazy, how does he have 200 gold? And how does he know how they die? Oh well, he probably has a perfectly fine explanation for it. Time to kill a water serpent!

"Why does he think that, Miss..." Savranth asked the woman, trailing off to let her name herself.
"Athena, Captain in the Xiphatian military. And I don't know why he thinks that. I've seen nothing to indicate it." The woman, Athena, replies.

Tao would find all sorts of food. Lots of fish, being a lake town, but also chicken, and an assortment of various side dishes, including rice and various beans.

"Why, of course. This is my husband's Inn. My name is Paprika. Please, do come in." The red haired woman replied, her blue eyes light up at how popular the inn was getting tonight.

"But, of course, sir. It all seems so obvious, now. One moment, allow me to get you a map." The shopkeeper looked through his stuff and found the very best map he had. "Normally, this map is five Gold, but for you, my Lord, it is free." He said, putting it down on the counter.

As the shopkeeper said, it was the best map he had. Made of high quality material, with hints of gold lining on the edges, it was the most accurate map one could find in this shop. "Will there be anything else?"

Adam would find some minor things like bread and other such things in the man's house.

"Heather. But what are you curious about?" The Secretary asks.

Seeing someone enter the Inn, Saya stepped forward and waved at the red haired women to get her attention.

He collected a mostly full bottle of hard liquor and returned to the drunk man. He gave the man a few light slaps to the face to rouse him, and waved the bottle in front of his eyes.
"I got you something to drink. This will make you feel so much better!"

Tao continued to eat all the food she could get her paws on.

"Firstly, I was talking to someone who had spoken to you, and learned from him that your kind are called 'beastkin', please forgive and correct me if that's offensive. I was wondering if there's somewhere I could find more of your kind?" She paused for a moment, then continued, "And secondly, this place is near the border of Xiphatia and Legaia, correct? Would you mind telling me how to reach the closest Legaian settlement to here?"

Ness watches the video and nods, sighing a bit. "I see. A surprise EMP... My apologies for bringing that up. I have no further questions, sir. Thank you." There goes that theory.... He's just misplaced and probably lost all of his comrades... How sad... She continued to walks toward the inn, now taking the street/path along the shoreline.
