"Is that all? Seems like a rather boring place to head to, before coming here." Savranth said, before walking to Rex and John. "So, should we head out? You coming new guy? Are we forgetting anyone?"

As they reached the mouth of the cave they could hear a very faint rustling deep within the cave, the occasional growl could be barely heard. Along parts of the walls claw marks could be seen the talons that left them must have been large.

"...Well, you boys don't seem too shifty, and I guess traveling with people who know their way around beats stumbling around on my own." Marston said as he started packing up his camp, taking some time to eat the hare meat he cooked.

Hearing the noises as he neared the mouth of the cave, Loki stopped momentarily to listen more carefully, then entered the cave, moving slowly both to alow his eyes to adjust to the decreasing amounts of light, and to avoid stepping on loose stones or any bones that littered the inside of the cave.

Rex shrugs as he stands up. "Pretty sure everyone's either around this camp or on the way to the ruins." Except... maybe Blair... "I'm ready to go whenever you guys are."

Ness allows the car to roll to a stop before turning to Jessica. "Alright, I'll leave the portal creation to you, Jessica. I'll meet up with you guys with the car. I paid good money and I'm not just going to abandon it!"

She nods along with Brooke. "Yes, toppling corrupt regimes is usually a ... less bad thing. And usually wars lead to technological breakthroughs for domestic use... even if they were originally created for militaristic purposes."

 

[Furioso]

Rita followed Loki, she was pretty used to low light areas, again due to the ruins explorations, so she was able to follow without issue.

Envy nodded "Yup, already said it was boring. Well you people enjoy yourselves, maybe I'll see you around again." said Envy as he began walking off.

"Well, should we leave a message for the others?" Savranth asked. He didn't look at Envy, but he addressed him. "And just where are you going?"

Jessica was about to hop out of the car when she heard what Ness had said. "Hmm? Oh, I think you misunderstood me. I can move the car to where we need it to go. I just can't do it instantly. The teleport circle will work just fine." She then hopped out of the car, somewhat pleased to find that Ness had stopped on a rocky area (OOC: Because otherwise I couldn't do this). She went about brushing away dirt and smaller rocks around where the car was parked, then drew an uninterrupted chalk circle on the ground around the car. "Alright, everyone hold on! I don't know for certain how rough this might get!" She called to those still in the car. She closed her eyes and breathed in deeply to gather the necessary focus, then activated the Teleportation Circle. The car would fall through the circle and reappear in the middle of a street in Valcheirn in a bright blue flash of light.

The cave continued on for a short ways until it widened into a smallish chamber, there were more tunnels leading elsewhere but in one of the corners stood a juvenile of a dragon. Even though it didn't look very young it definitely looked like it wouldn't be too friendly for someone to be in its cave. It pawed at the ground for a moment, before ducking into one of the other caves, probably looking for some scraps.

@Jessica: So how's Joe's portal drawing power? =P

Rex scratched his head a bit. "Uh... You can leave that to me. Tell me where to meet up with you guys before we head off."

Ness looked at the circle and braced herself by actually buckling in her seatbelt. As the car fell, Ness instinctively screamed until it hit the ground in Valcheirn. She jolted around a bit in her seat before sighing as her body stopped shaking. "Oh... That was.... unexpected..." She said, a little breathless and leaning her head against the wheel.

 

[Chungus]

"Perhaps for you alone, but for the both of us, no. It is not." Loki answered, talking at normal volume. "Let us follow it regardless. Perhaps it will lead us to its mother." he added, then went to followed the young dragon.

Iri and Saber wake up from the car hitting the ground in Valcheirn, as they followed Ness on this grand adventure.

"I'm sure..." Savranth said. He looked to Rex. "Were there any that we haven't seen in a while, though?"

As was the standard scenario. Valencheirn was a desolate, quiet, ghost town.

OoC: @Dot: Basically looking for an excuse to get Death and what's his name out and make them stay with the group.

Following after the dragon would have the two go through another passageway. Upon reaching the next den area the dragon from before and another juvenile would roll across the entrance, apparently playfighting, but the speed that they tumbled across Rita and Loki's path would be a tad startling.

As Jessica was cleaning up the chalk circle to keep a hiker from coming by and accidentally falling into it, she thought to herself, Wasn't there something else I was going to do?...Oh right! I was gonna go with Savranth and have a chat with his dad. I'm sure the others will be fine on their own for now. She finished breaking up the circle, at which point the portal contained inside disappeared. She then checked Savranth's position, and finally, teleported next to him.
