The old man stopped in front of the soldiers as they blocked his way. "Just an old sorcerer looking to lend his magic to those who might need it in a time of conflict. Is this where I can ask to sign on as a mercenary for this nation in its time of need?" He answered the soldiers, bearing an accent that they would find unplaceable.

Jessica frowned a little at Tao calling her 'Scaredy Kaka' again, but quickly made her face appear neutral again. "So, what are you doing out here all by yourself?" She asked Taokaka. Or not. She thought as Grace ran up out of nowhere and hugged Taokaka.

Ness smiles toward Echo and Holly as she follows the doctor.

Rex shrugs toward the gate guards and waves at them. "He ain't a spy. He's with me and Savranth, let the dude go where he pleases." Yukino just sat back and watched.

Clone Yukino would continue looking at the airship, slightly confused. [color=bb66bb] "Are you gonna do anything? I'm boooored~." [/color] She yells idly at the ship.

"A spy? Just what makes you think I'm a spy?" Marston said, being partially amused by the idea, but also a little worried.

Tao looked quite uncomfortable with Grace hugging her and tried to wiggle out of her arms. "I was just exploring, meow." she said to Jess innocently.

Echo and Holly follow Ness.

Grace let Tao out of her grasp, and said, "Also, you're going cold-turky on your breast habits? Because there are actually multiple studies that point out that going cold turkey is actually pretty futile, the best method is to slowly ease out of it... so, since my boyfreind wouldn't mind, feel free to-... do whatever it is you do." She said, looking at Jessica slightly nervous.
"However, I will only allow it once a week, at most. Hopefully you won't need to do it more than once a week." she said, growing slightly more uncomfortable under Jessica's glare.

"Magic use is natural in Xiphatia. To use it it to breath. However, if I want to use an elemental magic I simply alter the way my magic flows and interacts with the world. To use physical, I alter the way it flows in my body. And Mystic is a bit different, but sort of like both depending on which one." Savranth explains moving his hand out and aiming it at the ground. A bolt of lightning shots from his hand, striking the ground.

"We don't hire mercenaries. But if you really want to help, you can address the General." The soldier addresses the wizard.
"Can you prove you aren't?" Another asks Marston.

The ash ghost leads Vanessa to where the files would be kept and seems to stop at a computer. Typing away at a nonexistent keyboard, the ghost looked to her. "Will this help?"

"They're just tracking you for me. That's all. But there is a curiosity about you. You don't give off body heat." Richard says as he approaches the Yukino clone.

The girl sits in silence. Painting the scenery before her. If Envy could see it, he would see that the painting was actually quiet good.

"Hmm. Do you know where everyone else is?" Jessica replied to Tao, her voice still sounding almost entirely devoid of emotion. Noticing Brooke approach, she waved at her. "Hey there. So I know you guys have only been here for a day, but has anyone found anything out yet?" She said, addressing Brooke.

"Where might I go to speak with this 'General', then?" The old sorcerer replied to the soldier.

Tedd looks at Savranth, "That's not that helpful. Yeah, it's like breathing, but how does breathing work? By contracting and expanding your diaphragm. And that still doesn't really answer my question about what it is. You told me how it's used, but not how it works. Is it an energy? Manipulation of reality? Screwing with the fabric of time-space? Manipulating physics?" he said.

 

[Furioso]

Envy continued to watch her paint, but the more he watched the angrier he got. The city bugged him. Everything was apparently perfect, and it pissed him off.

"Can you prove I am?" Marston asked the soldier, getting slightly impatient. He made sure to keep a tight hold on himself, considering starting a fight in a military base wouldn't go terribly well for him.

"W-what? T-Tao already said...I'm not gonna do that anymore, meow." Tao said as she backed away from Grace and put her paws behind her back.

"I don't know where anyone else is, meow." she said to Jess.

 

[Wackymon]

Grace nodded, "That's good, but if you ever feel like you're going to snap, I'm here to help... And I'm sorry if I'm making you a bit uncomfortable..." she muttered.

"Well, I found that if you hand a ghost an object, they will be physically unable to take it, but they will believe they have taken it, and will act accordingly." Brooke explained.

 

[Saltyk]

"I told you exactly how it works. I use the magic that I naturally possess and use it to interact with the world. That's how it works." Savranth replied.

"He'd be in that building over there." The guard said to the sorcerer.

"I can't prove you aren't. Nor have I heard word that you should be allowed to leave. And considering your garb and weapon, I see plenty of reason to think I shouldn't simply let you pass."

After a moment a beastkin appeared next to the girl, as out of thin air. A panther beastkin. Ardimas. One Envy would know. "Here you are miss. I've been looking all over for you. You should return with me, now."
"No. I have no interest in doing that. My painting is not complete. And I can't do that in the castle." The brown haired girl replied.
"Please, Princess Ine, I must insist."

"I have little ideas either. I supose this will simply take some time and effort." Loki answered Rita, approaching the dragon further. Once he was near, Loki laid his hand on the neck of the dragon and began rubbing the scales.

"Alright, so what is your magic than?" he asked.

The dragon seemed to purr as Loki pet it. It's eyes closed, it made no threatening moves.

Ness looks at the doctor and shakes her head sadly after searching around her pockets for nothing. As she did this, she discreetly digistructed a small notepad and pen from her PDA within her pants pocket. "...It seems I've left my glasses somewhere. I won't be able to read the monitor like that... Maybe you can tell me a few things I want to know, like the number of children born with Legaian and Xiphatian parents? I'll try and be quick."
