Ness smiled back at the two girls before motioning to them to follow her. "I'm planning on going back to that altar.. but it seems to be a bit late... Would you two like to do anything in particular here before we go? I think we'll stay at the inn in Lakewest tonight..."

Yukino peers at the symbol and the resulting meteor strike. She lets out a low whistle from her perch on top of the airship. [color=bb66bb] "Looks like these guys are playing to win... Time to have a little fun myself..." [/color] Black mist starts to wrap around the foxgirl yet again as she keeps watch for now.

OOC: Forgot to mention, that last attack was called Meteor Strike.

Nybeth, not being much of the 'charging' type, stayed near the rear of the Xiphatian forces. He reached into the sleeve of his coat and pulled out a frond of what looked like a fern, except the leaves were colored red. He pulled off a few leaves and began chewing on them before sticking the rest of the frond in his robe and casting another Meteor Strike spell, this time aiming the rock he called from the sky into the Legaian forces.

Jessica walked up to the receptionist and asked, "Maybe. I remember something happening here about two weeks or so ago. Something about some injured guy needing urgent medical attention, and then some ambulances showed up. Can you tell me more about that?"

Holly suggests they eat something. Echo nods in approval.

Marston watches the battle ensue.

The Legaian forces begin to move into formation, just at Nybeth's Meteor Strike hits again. Several get behind the cover they had, though it was less effective in this way.

A sniper shot rang out, the sound coming from the North, killing a soldier.

Bellerophon stood among his men, spear at the ready. "Stand ready!"

Savranth used his high Speed Movement magic to move around the back of the Mess Hall with a unit of about 20 soldiers following him.

Athena held her hand to her ear. "Astasis is not among them. Find the coward!"

The Legaian fired from their cover. The turrets began to fire on the soldiers as well.

"The armored man? He was sent to a hospital in Fourside." She replied.

Envy would see several other officers in the South Wing. There are about 200 prisoners in this wing in about 40 cells.

Rita continued to look for some clearing with cover out of sight of the towns

Envy took note of what sort of prisoners were around, looking for the 100 super dangerous ones. He also took note of any stairwells, or single empty rooms, or isolated areas, and he took note of the specific number of guards.

OoC: 800 prisoners at a 40:1 ratio, so 20 guards total?

Ricully contines how he was doing before, running around killing stuff without paying attention to who, occasionally throwing a giant-fireball at whatever Mechs he finds.

Yukino took note of the sniper's position from where she was seated and scanned the perimeter for the locations of the turrets. As she did so, she summoned her scythe and began to cloak herself.

Ness smiles as she takes the two girls to the cafeteria. She walks up to the counter and smiles, waving to anyone who happened to be there. "Hello? I'd like to order something for 3."

Marston looks at the base with his binoculars again.

Echo and Holly wait expectantly for their foo

Hearing the sniper shot, Nybeth began trying to conceal his presence among the rest of the Xiphatian soldiers, while still remaining far enough from the front lines to not risk being initially shot at by the turrets and soldiers. Fusils...such an irritant. Holding his hands in the air once again, he chanted, "Now rise once again, o breath of demons buried deep within the ground, bring writhing pain and twisted death!" He pointed towards the bulk of the Legaian formation, at which point it almost seemed like a smoke bomb had gone off within their ranks, as a thick, green cloud of gas exploded into existence. Anyone who breathed in the smoke would start to feel incredibly sick and weak, as the gas was toxic.

"That might be who I'm looking for. Could you tell me which hospital it may have been?" Jessica asked the receptionist, finding the idea of spending more time than she had to in Fourside looking around for a hospital to be an appalling experience..

Another sniper shot rings out, this time from South-South-West, and kills a soldier.

Yukino would see that the turrets are spaced around the base's walls.

After getting hit with a fireball, the damaged mech fired on Ricully.

The Poison Cloud made several Legaian soldiers scatter, though a few did not...

Athena takes out a crystal, forming her staff, and water begins to form around her as she unleashes it, as shards of ice on the Legaian forces.

Bellerophon charges into the Xiphatian forces, with a small force of soldiers backing him up.

Savranth and the soldier with him encounter a small force of mechs.

The turrets continue firing.

"One minute." The receptionist says getting out a piece of paper, and writing a name down. "Here you go."

There were two different levels in the South Wing. An upper and lower one. Envy was on the lower one. There were about 39 guards on the floor, keeping an eye on the prisoners.
Stairwells were spaced every 5 cells. About half way between the cells on each level, there were janitor closets.

OoC: @Salty, so how many guards are in the lower section of the south wing?

Cloaked, Yukino jumps off the airship and onto the base's walls. Brandishing her scythe, she creeps up toward the turret closest to her. Once she's a bit close, she winds up and throws her scythe down the length of the wall, aiming to cut down all of them in a row. After she does this, she hops down of the wall into cover.

Ness calmly begins eating along with Echo and Holly.

OoC: @Salty, well that kind of leaves the rest of the place empty right? only 16 guards and the warden between the other wing and the top floor of the south wing?

Ridcully puts up a sheild, and begins to launch varry spells, which can do... Well, I'm not sure. Just imagine something over-the-top epic that does as much as a missile launch.

OoC: @Furi: No one said, there were only two sections. Though, I guess I didn't plan this one out as much. Consider there are about 4 sections.

OoC: @Salty, that brings me back to my first point, if there are 20 guards total would that mean 5 guards per section? Or if there are 40 guards total (it seems to be flip flopping) 10 per section, 5 per floor?

Also Rita is still looking for a clearing in the mountains
