Yukino tilted her head and then started laughing. [color=bb66bb] "OH~! I get it! You thought I had this long sequence of 'should I do it? But... It's my family... I can't..' and then there's a long montage of me trying to find myself like in the movies right?" [/color]

Her expression switches to an extremely pissed one as she speaks with a venomous tone. [color=bb66bb] [HEADING=3]"FUCK. NO."[/HEADING]

"...I was literally turned into a killer marionette, with someone injecting strings into my body while I was asleep. Then I had to watch as my arms and legs moved and jerked on their own, killing each and every one of my family with their treasured heirloom katana.... all due to my own weakness." [/color] Her gaze shifted to the blade on her side.

Black takes a few steps back. I've never seen someone so in raged since....last time... Black thought to herself. "Who would do such a thing?...that's...just...[sub]sick[/sub]" she asked Yukino, standing at a side angle.

"Right... so where did that noise come from?" Trilby asked as he turned around to face the soldiers. "Because if it wasn't myself, Ness, or little Miss Sleeping-With-The-Enemy over there," he waved a hand in the general direction of the receptionist. "Then that means it was one of you soldiers. Or, there's someone else in here."

Jessica woke up in Ness' room at the Spice Rack Inn, sitting up and stretching out her left arm before scratching the back of her head with it. Moving to sit on the edge of the bed, she looked around the room and was disappointed to find the only other person there with her was the sleeping Echo. I wonder where Vanessa and Holly went? She pondered as she took out her visor and used it to check Vanessa's location. After discerning that she had gone to the military building in Lakewest, she quickly stood back up and left the room. After leaving the Inn, she noticed Holly sleeping outside and tried to rouse her from slumber by gently shaking her and saying, "Hey, wake up. This isn't the best place to be sleeping."

A crow had perched itself on a building in the Defense base and was cleaning its wings with its beak. It looked down and watched Black and Yukino with about as much attention as one could expect a crow to be able to muster.

"Yes Winterhorn is a school of magic, Head Mistress Anna was nice enough to let me enroll here. It's really secluded, but everyone here is really thoughtful." Sophia answered Erica. "Where did you learn?"

Ness raised an eyebrow. "That makes sense Trilby, but I doubt they would actually own up to that here..."

Black sighed. "Well it appears I've misjudged you Yukino and I apologize for that..." She said with a small respectable bow.

Holly rubbed her eyes as she sat up. "[sub]Oh...sssorry Missss Jesssica...[/sub]" She said as she yawned, rubbing her head a little. "[sub]I though fresssh air would make me feel better...[/sub]"

After some time, Fafnir arived in Holadino. Entering the town, Loki pulled back on the reins to make Fafnir slow down. Again, this didn't work imediately, but after two more attempts, it did. The towns people gave Loki and Rita a look that was a mixture of awe and fear as they rode. Seeing the reactions he got, Loki grinned. Yes. Behold your future king... "My companion is wounded. Struck by lightning. Where might we go to have her wounds tended to?" Loki called out.

"There's... a clinic over there." a civilian answered, pointing over to the clinic. His voice was on the shaky side, as he still couldn't believe his eyes.

Nodding, Loki steered Fafnir towards the clinic, pulling back the rais harder once arived, this made Fafnir stop. "Well then. Here we are." he said to Rita.

"I learned mastery of the arcane at the College of Winterhold. The similarities between it and this place are... uncanny. And I don't mean just the name. It too, is a tower build ontop a mountain. And it too is a cold place. Although much more so then here. When I mentioned I lived the majority of my life in a place with arctic temperatures, that is what I meant." Erica explained. "But yes. It is really quite similar. It almost makes me feel like I never left home to begin with."

"Except you, your friend, our receptionist and me, there was no one in this room. And since it sure wasn't made who made that sound, that came from one of you." the soldier answered Trilby. "In fact, I can almost say for certain it was you. You claimed our receptionist planted Legaian tech on you, yet aside from your arm, there was nothing to be found. That's just all sorts of suspicious..."

Looking at Ness, the soldier said, "No. It doesn't make sense. Not one bit."

The soldier hmm'd in responce to Envy's claim. "Well, the base is on lock down due to a posible security breach." he hesitantly explained.

Lyra spotted Jessica on her walk and ambled over, smiling nervously. "So... How'd last night go?"

Yukino looks over toward Black and shrugs. [color=bb66bb] "Thanks, Vocaloid." [/color] She pauses for a moment before staring at the rock shooter. [color=bb66bb] "You've said you come from the... Hazama, right? And that it's a world where you do nothing but fight... Seeing as you loathe it so, why do you continue to keep fighting? Why not just escape?" [/color]

Ness seemed to deflate a bit as the soldier pointed out what he pointed out. "I see... I assumed that there were soldiers behind us for some odd reason..."

"Winterhold? How strange?" Sophia agreed, the names were highly similar. They entered into the main hall, students were bustling around and doing this, that and the other thing.

"So... what made you leave your home if you don't mind me asking? You talk so warmly of it."

With the Defense base retrofitted for Xiphatian forces, it was now nearly indistinguishable from the Forward Base. Minus differences in the layout, and materials made to construct it. The Xiphatian airship remained outside as there was still a Legaian airship in the dock, and they hadn't yet gotten around to moving it out or refitting the dock for the different ship.

Savranth was busy thinking.

Jessica was about to lecture Holly on all the reasons why sleeping in public was generally frowned upon and a bad idea, but was distracted by what Holly had said. "You thought it would make you feel better? You feeling sick or something?" She asked with mild concern as she knelt down to Holly's level. When Lyra walked over, she quickly stood back up. "I-I don't really know...Vanessa and I talked about how we felt about each other. I-Is that good?" She asked, nervously stammering a few times.

Seeming to lose interest in Black and Yukino, the crow began flying around the Defense base, looking around at everyone else that was around.

"There are many things in life we must do, that might not necessarily like.....Yukino..." Black said to her, putting her hands in her pockets. "If I was to run away from the Hazama, there is no telling what would happen...with the others that wonder around....I only stay to keep them in line....to save them from doing something stupid to another world...or to each other.." She added with a small sigh as looked across the filed. "If I'm not around....no one will try and save those who have a chance....I just try my best to save them from there own insanity....heck, a few of them have helped me in the past..." She explained, looking down at her blade.

Holly nodded slowly to Jessica. "[sub]my head hurtsss a little...[/sub]" She said to her, she looked up when Lyra come over but said nothing, just watched quietly as Jessica started to get flustered.

Rita hopped off Fafnir and headed into the clinic

Lura's smile broadened. "sounds like it went great Jess. You guys are going slow right? I suppose kids is something you don't have to worry about in your kind of relationship..." she seemed to trail off into her own thoughts, before breaking out of them and slapping Jess on the back. "Still, no time to dilly dally. Marcus cooked up something for the prison, so we can bust Tao out. How would you feel about a mask?"
