Ness scratched her head a bit as she followed. "Right. ...With the way beastkin are treated in Legaia, I doubt she could have gotten all that far." She sighed and had a bit of a reassured look on her face. "Yes... we'll find her quickly, then we can get back to what we were doing before this whole fiasco."
"You hadn't heard? I had assumed everyone would know of such a thing. No matter." Nybeth replied to Rita. "So you have a master you apprentice for then? Does he make his home up in these mountains?"

Jessica let out a disgruntled sigh as she approached the door to Ness' room. "Don't remind me of that. It's already bad enough that we have to go there to Legaia to begin with. On the bright side though, maybe we could stop by and see Felina and Ashley....What exactly were we doing before all of this mess began? I honestly can't remember." She opened the door and quietly looked inside before seeing that Echo and Holly and were sleeping, then quietly shut it again. "Well, Echo and Holly are both sleeping, I guess we could just stand out here and talk a little more if you aren't feeling too tired."

Ness nodded toward Jess before putting her hand to her chin. "I'm pretty sure... it had something to do with that ghost town and... some religious cult.... I think..."
Her face seemed to brighten up a bit. "Ah, yes... I never got to visit Felina the last time we were in Holadino. It would be nice to see how they're doing. And that reminds me... Ms. Cassia's still in Granite Pass..."

"Oh yeah." Jessica began. "I kinda remember hitting a dead end there though. I was looking into religion and got pretty much nowhere." She admitted. "That reminds me, didn't you say you remember thinking you knew who Cassia's family were? Did anything ever come from looking into that?" She curiously asked.

It turns out that Mrs. Paprika was hiding her bunny ears under her bonnet. She and Ms. Cassia are family... however, she made me swear not to tell Ms. Cassia. Also... please don't tell a soul what I just told you, alright?"

Jessica seemed particularly fascinated by what Ness just told her. "Got it. I'll keep it to myself." She said to Ness, giving her a thumbs up. Yeesh. And I thought trying to hide my ears under a hat was too uncomfortable to deal with. She's got major respect from me for dealing with that. I guess she must do that for her kid. If beastkin get discriminated against I can't imagine what she would probably go through... She seemed to get lost in thought for a moment.

Nybeth didn't seem particularly impressed by hearing about Loki's dragon taming feat. "Taming dragons is barely a step above mundane where I come from. But I still hold interest in meeting this person." Though from how it sounds, he doesn't seem particularly adept at dealing with dragons. I wonder truly how much knowledge he has.

"Barely above mundane? You must not be from this world then, since Dragon taming here is extremely rare. Neither of us are from here either. I think this was my masters first encounter with a dragon, and he was able to tame it with minimal effort." replied Rita

"You shall have to forgive me for my words then. As I said, where I come from, dragon taming is mundane. They are simple beasts, yet one cannot deny their effectiveness when pointed at an enemy unit." Nybeth replied. "And even then, one cannot be expected to tame them without at least some training of their own."
"There may be a difference between your dragons and these dragons then. The dragons here are said to be highly intelligent as opposed to simple. Anyways, I'm pretty tired, come back tomorrow and my master may share his knowledge." said Rita before heading back to the cave to sleep
