Erica answered Jessica before she stepped through the portal. Turning around, Erica locked her door, picked up Tophat and placed it in her satchel, then stepped through the portal herself. On the other side, Erica, was unpleasantly suprised that rather then standing on the college grounds, the five women were standing up to their calves in the lake next to the mountain on which Winterhorn was build. "Arg! I messed up again!" she exclaimed moving out of the lake as fast as she could. "I'm sorry for that..."

Ness calmly walked out of the lake, sloshing a bit before making it to the shore. She shook the legs off her pants to help dry them before giggling a bit. "It's no problem, Ms. Erica. This could've been much worse... I would know." After a few moments, something goes "click" in the girl's mind. She turns to Erica ans asks, "May I see that amulet of yours? I wasn't aware you could cross dimensions with it."

Yukino looked up toward the General and nodded a bit before turning to walk away. [color=bb66bb] "Yes, it's smart not to trust someone new with something like that outright. I'll be off then. Goodbye, General." [/color] She waved a bit as she walked away, starting to head back to the ship to start practicing again.

Jessica was rather displeased to find that she was half-way up to her knees in water. She teleported over to the shore, not wanting to spend any more time in the water in her current clothes than she had to. Sitting down on the ground near the shore of the lake, she took off her shoes and started wringing out her socks as best as she could. "You should really be more careful in using that thing. Like Vanessa said, that could have gone much, much worse." She said to Erica, sounding like she was scolding a child, though she was doing so unintentionally.

Nybeth returned to the mountainside, having procured the materials he needed. Since he realized he had no way of getting in touch with Loki on his own terms, he went back to his cave and started working while waiting on Loki to contact him.

"Then by all means, make a portal to travel across dimensions yourself next time." Erica indignantly replied to Jessica, not amused by the tone she spoke to her with. She sat down with a huff and taking off her boots, holding them upside-down to rid them of the water that had entered. Calming down and sighing in responce to Ness, she said, "Yes... Last time, I ended up on the edge of the tower there, just outside the window. Anyway... Here." Taking off her amulet, she handed it to Ness, then began to wring out the water from the legs of her trousers as best as she could without taking them off.

Ness calmly examined the amulet, smiling a bit as she did. "It looks quite nice... And yes... that's exactly what I mean. One test portal led to me freefalling for around 1000 or so feet before I finally found a parachute in my inventory... Needless to say, I wasn't able to talk easily a few hours afterward..."
She sighed a bit toward Jessica's tone as they ended up on shore. "No one has total control over these sorts of portals. Hell, even the machine I have at home, the giant thing, can't be totally precise in its dimensional transfers. It's not Ms. Erica's fault that we ended up here."

"Thank you." The medic says taking the ear piece. They carefully load Medea onto the strecther and take her to the ship.
