Yuki shook her head, scratching it a bit. [color=bb66bb] "I don't remember much. Just a dark room with a chair... and a bunch of screens that popped up, showing video of you. It was like some freaky mindfuck room out of a hacker movie." [/color] She suddenly stopped. [color=bb66bb] "This means wherever I was... or was in... was Legaian... And what's a Valencheirn?" [/color]

Ness shook her head, still clutching it a bit. "Eh... I can see why you're so careful with your teleportation. Just moving two extra people is making me like this..." She weakily chuckles before slowly getting up. "Yes, I'm fine... I probably shouldn't try to use this device too much..." She begins to look out toward where Rockbyrd was.

 

[Saltyk]

"Legaian? Are you sure? I know of no such technology that they posses that could save you like that." Savranth queries. Was I wrong..? Does this have nothing to do with the mech we fought?

"Valencheirn was a city that was built by both Legaia and Xiphatia. Savranth was born there." Tiberius answered Yukino's question.

"Keep me informed..." Richard says to Envy.

 

[Wackymon]

Mild, having been following Black and Marston quietly... Listened to what they were saying.

"I am under the assumption that you have no estimate as to when that shall occur, so I shall not waste my time with further questions." Nybeth replied to Tiberius. Seeing no other better use of his time, he started strolling around Holadino, trying to take in gossip once again.

"Well you can already move two other people at once, so you're kind of already better than me...I can only manage one other person..." Jessica replied to Ness. Taking out her visor, she looked towards Rockbyrd, using it to amplify her vision. Seeing that Rockbyrd was now just rubble occupied by hostile aliens, she said, "Uh...not sure if we're going to find a whole lot here."

Yuki's ears twitched a bit as she heard Tiberius. [color=bb66bb] "So there was a city built that was basically an accident waiting to happen. I see..." [/color] Turning to Sav, she shook her head. [color=bb66bb] "It was a gut guess... but you're right. Unless it's connected to everything somehow, there's no way that thing's tech alone could have saved me." [/color]

Ness scratched her head a bit before facepalming herself, aggravating her headache a bit more. "[small]Owowowowow...[/small] That's right... this is where I managed to save Ms. Lyra from being killed. Those things were attacking her... but where would she have gone from here...?" She looked toward Jessica and shrugged a bit. "That's only because of the device that I can do this. Don't confuse technology with actual skill."

 

[Furioso]

"Of course." said Envy

 

[Saltyk]

"We fought a machine that could heal damage and was able to use magic... This sword I wield seems to react to magic, but was made by Legaian craftsmen. All of whom seemed to have died..." Savranth says aloud...
He puts his hand to his ear. Jessica? Are you there?

"Wait! So who's the father?"
"I... I don't know..."
"What!?"

"So what are we doing with the food?"
"Right now, we're trying to keep it refrigerated, but there's no telling how long that will last."

"So, are the Xiphatians just ignoring us?"
"As long as we don't do anything stupid, they seem content to let us be."

Jessica let out a sigh as she took off her visor and put it away. "Who knows? She could be pretty much anywhere now." Really wishing I'd have made her take a beacon now. Looking back over at Ness, she was about to say something before hearing Savranth in her head, causing her ears and tail to twitch a bit. Yeah, I hear you. She mentally responded.

Nybeth began trying to filter through the gossip he was hearing to only pay attention to anything concerning events outside of Holadino, as he had no interest in what was going on in the minutia of the citizens daily lives.

Yuki's ears twitched again. [color=bb66bb] "So you're thinking that it that saved me and is watching you was behind the death of all those hybrids? ...That makes more sense if you were one of the survivors of that hybrid town as well." [/color]

Ness sighed as she nodded toward Jessica. "Well... at least we know where she isn't at the moment... We'll probably want to start looking around the forests..."

 

[Wackymon]

Grace nodded, "If you guys want, I can get looking." she said.

 

[Saltyk]

"I was attacked by some other things making a similar claim..." Savranth tells Yukino. "And they said it controlled their ship..."
There was something I was wondering. Didn't you research Valencheirn? He says to Jessica via the telepathic communication.

"The town was not a hybrid. or the people weren't. Everyone in it was normal Xiphatian or Legaian people. I lived there for a time." Tiberius explained.

"So, we can't ship out any food. Are they hoping to starve out the nation?"
"Maybe... Who knows?"

 

[Drakmorg]

Yeah. I didn't manage to figure very much out though. Why do you ask? Jessica mentally replied to Savranth. She didn't reply to either Ness or Grace, and seemed like something was occupying her attention as she stared off into space.

That much is painfully obvious. Nybeth thought to himself as he kept fishing for rumors and talk of goings-on.

 

[Saltyk]

Refresh my memory. What happened to start the battle that destroyed the city? Savranth speaks to Jessica via the telepathic link.

Yuki scratches the back of her head again. [color=bb66bb] "But the plan was eventually for it to be a hybrid town, right? ..The two halves needed time to mix... but they never got the chance, thanks to that it." [/color] Turning to Sav, Yuki's ears twitch again. [color=bb66bb] "You mean those aliens...? They attacked you too?" [/color]

Ness looked over toward Grace and shook her head. "We'll go together." Looking over at Jessica seemingly staring into space, Ness was a bit concerned but sat down to wait for the catgirl to snap out of it. ...I wonder what she's thinking of. I don't want to disturb her either.

 

[Wackymon]

Grace nodded, and transformed into her squirrel form, and got on her shoulder.

OoC: I'm off to bed, see you all tomarrow! Have a good day, Grace will follow Ness in her squirrel form in the trees.

Some sort of attack on Xiphatian and mixed housing. Nobody knows which side actually started it since there are no eye-witness accounts or recordings of what happened. But both sides insist the other one started it. Jessica mentally replied to Savranth, going over what little she had managed to figure out. Jessica continued staring off into space at where Ness was before she sat down, as that's where she had been looking previously.

"The city was to be a symbol of peace. To show that the nations really could coexist. There was no specific plan to form a hybrid race. The goal was peace." Tiberius explained. "No one held any illusions that children would be born from mixed families." Tiberius told Yukino.

I see... Savranth answered. Let me ask you this. Do you think it could be related to that machine from the ruins?
Realizing Yukino had addressed him, he nods in the affirmative to answer her question. More focused on the puzzle in front of him.

Yuki looked over toward Tiberius and shrugged. [color=bb66bb] "I see." Admirable, but foolish in the end. [/color]

Ness continued to sit where she was, still musing over what she had read. Jessica's blank stare made her a bit concerned, but she refrained from messing with the catgirl just yet.

Jessica paused and thought for several moments, closing her eyes and slowly tilting her head from left to right. ...I guess it could. I can't really see how the two things would be related, but I suppose it isn't a complete impossibility that they are somehow. Why the sudden interest? She replied to Savranth through her thoughts.

A while back I killed Yukino. But she's alive and well claiming that someone saved her. This person wanted her to kill me. Which is odd as I was told the same thing by those aliens a little while ago, too. I can't help but think that them choosing to attack after we saw that mech MIGHT be related. It got me thinking... Savranth answers Jessica via the mental link.

"It did seem to happen, though. Savranth and I are living proof of that." Tiberius said to Yukino.
