[Chungus]

After a little searching, Loki and Rita found the dinner. Holadino was but a relatively small town, so it didn't take them all that long to find it. Entering, they each ordered pumpkin soup as a started, then Loki ordered a steak with asperagus, and Rita grilled chicken with salled, each had a cup of tea to drink. When done, Loki paid, as Holadino still, for the most part, used credits, which Loki had far more of then Rita did. When all was done, the duo left the dinner, and made their way to the eastern edge of town.

I do wonder if that odd woman is indeed still waiting. She is... a peculiar one.

Having read through four pages seemingly over and over, as she flipped the page back and forth, Erica put her notebook down, then looked if Valentine was awake

Yuki made her way outside, rubbing her head. She was still a bit sore after Ness had clocked her.

 

[Captain Anon]

"Halt. State your business." a soldier said to Saber as he was stopped at the gate.

"i'm looking to do some free-lance work, i was told to come here" he said

White reached the Eastern edge of town and waited. This trip has proven to be quite successful so far....let's continue this winning streak...

"Hows your head treating you?" Black asked Yukino, her eyes to looking up at the sky.

Valentine wide awake on her bed, hands behind her head. Just like she was staring into space.

Yuki's ears drooped a bit as she sat next to Black. [color=bb66bb] "Could be a lot worse. How's the cloud watching going?" [/color]

Jessica started involuntarily tearing up a bit as Ness hugged her. "You r-really think talking about it will h-help?...I've n-never actually d-done that before...t-talked about it w-with anyone..." She replied, a stutter making itself present in her voice. After a pause, she asked her currently fedora-less friend. "Y-You remember that d-dream of mine you s-saw a while ago?"

Ness nodded a bit, remembering the scene a bit as she kept holding Jess lightly. "Yes... keeping your pain to yourself only makes it hurt more... And yes, I remember that dream..."

"Good....they still exist" Black replied to Yukino. "It's rather relaxing..." She added with a tiny smile.

 

[Chungus]

Giving the fact that she was the only one standing where she was, plus the fact that wearing a cloak, which none of the other residents or occupiers did, White was rather easy to spot. "So, you have come." Loki said, walked up to White, but then passed her again, going up the mountain. "Follow us, then." Now to see just what your angle in this little game you are playing is. Loki lead White further into the mountains, but didn't go to the dragon den, but rather a desolate place where no one was likely to venture. Once arived in a suitable spot, Loki turned to White and asked, "This should be far enough. Now, who are you? And why the interest in me?"

Seeing Valentine was awake, Erica asked, "Couldn't sleep?"

"Is that so?" the soldier Saber addressed asked. "Well. We are in need of someone to help in the kitchen."

"T-Then you already know..." Jessica began, upon hearing that Ness remembered one of the outcomes of their previous mental link. [small]"I don't know w-why you're still s-so nice to me...y-you already know h-how m-much of a s-screw-up I a-am..."[/small] Jessica's crying became more apparent as she started wringing the fabric of her clothing more tightly.

Ness held Jessica a little closer, holding back her tears for now. She hated to see Jessica like this. [small] "The reason why is that you can always get better. I've made many mistakes in my life that I still regret to this day... I used to cry myself to sleep some nights, being bullied and heckled... No one liked me... I.. I know how painful it is..." [/small]

Ness choked up a bit as she started crying as well. Jessica would start seeing images of a young Vanessa being spit on, her hair being pulled, and other nasty things by other kids on a flat school playground all of them laughing and teasing her. [small] "But... despite all that, I tried my best... and even though it didn't show immediately... things got better for me... little by little. I know you can do the same... so I'll stand by you until that happens..." [/small]

"Oh course, where are my manners. My name is White, White Rock Shooter" She said as a small intro. "I've come to this world to get rid of someone, that girl in the photo I showed you earlier, I wish to get rid of her and destroy this entire land!" She added with a small smirk. "My interest in you is why a non-human being would be here? you planning on helping the farmers grow there crops quicker? or is there more then that?" She asked Loki, slightly mockingly.

"I slept for a bit" Valentine said to Erica then sat up. "I've been mostly enjoying my free time though, even if that does mean staring into the ceiling" She said with a small chuckle.

Yuki looked over at Black, not that surprised but still visibly weirded out by her smile. [color=bb66bb] "You don't even have clouds where you're from?" [/color]

 

[Captain Anon]

"Is that so?" the soldier Saber addressed asked. "Well. We are in need of someone to help in the kitchen."

"ha ha ha a joker great, i mean if you needed something escorted or go out on a patrol" he said trying to sound seriously

Black shook her head slightly. "No we don't....we don't even have grass in the Hazama" She said to Yukino. "Just an endless graveyard...."

""White Rock Shooter?"" Loki repeated incredulously, staring at White with a raised eyebrow. after a moment, he laughed, though this lasted only a moment. "That sounds more like a title then a name. And I assume this to be the case. Eitherway... Destroy this land, you say?" How forthcoming. "No doubt the woman in the picture is not the destroyer you claim her to be then. Or perhaps she is a rival. Which is it?" Loki ignored the comment of him being a farmhand.

"An odd way to spend your free time, I must say." Erica jokingly answered, twisting in bed to swing her legs over the side. "I've been meaning to ask. After becoming an... half angel, was it? What have you been doing?"

The soldier sighed. "Should've been more clear on that then. Anyway, if you wanna work as a mercernary, you're in luck. We're currently hiring. Follow me then." Turning around, the soldier began walking to the main building, motion for Saber to do the same.

Jessica started to cry even more as she saw the visions Ness transmitted to her. [small]"T-That's different...y-you didn't d-deserve that...I d-do. I deserve a-all of it...the l-loneliness...t-the names..."[/small] She took a moment to rest her head on Ness' shoulder and just cry into it. "Everyone w-was right to h-hate me back then...e-even me...and I still haven't p-proven a-any of them w-wrong..."

"I would say she was a Rival, but she is more of a pain then anything else" White said to Loki, her emotion was similar to Black's at this point. "So what of you? your name and your objectives" She asked Loki.

Yuki put her hand to her chin for a moment. [color=bb66bb] ...Awesome... "Huh. Sounds brutal. How long have you had to be in that world for?" [/color]

Ness held Jessica a bit closer as the catgirl cried into her shoulder. "Why do you keep thinking you deserved all of the hate and the names? No one should have to deal with that... especially not alone. And you can still prove all of your naysayers wrong once you finish with the anomaly here! Remember? You and I are going to fix this!" Ness tried to console Jess while still tearing up a bit herself.
