Though her arm was still attached and seemingly undamaged, Jessica found she couldn't move it at all, so it simply laid limply at her side. Right...that makes sense... Hearing someone speak to her, she slowly turned her head to face Ardimas. [sub]"Oh...this?"[/sub] She replied, her voice sounding strained and tired. She attempted to move her arm once again to make her point, but found she still couldn't. [sub]"I've...had it for a while...I don't suppose you'd believe me if I said I was from another planet, would you?"[/sub]
Ness would get no reply from Jessica. In fact, the nature of the mental link between the two seemed to have changed. While the link was clearly still there, it would feel dormant to Ness. Like a computer put into stand-by mode, neither explicitly active or broken.

Ness gritted her teeth before swinging her arm to parry the blade with her own. She spun her tonfa-style blade around so it was pointing out as she spun around, slashing at Joti's chest. "...I'm sorry..."

Noting the link feeling a bit awkward, Ness frowned mentally. Huh... Guess that's her way of saying 'thanks for abandoning me'... or maybe... she can't reply just yet...

Yuki calmly crossed her legs before looking up at the sky as well. [color=bb66bb] So.. a loud fox, a silent soul, and a muse were on a rooftop... [/color] She thought to herself, trying to find a decent joke to make out of the situation. ...She never found a good one.

"All things considered, I would, actually. And I hear you came with this man, as well." Ardimas said, motioning towards Savranth.

"I think you should know the situation. We are currently at war. And we won't allow someone to come and cause problems. If you do, you will either be arrested or killed, depending on your actions. I am General Tiberius Ehrgeiz of Xiphatia. What is your name? Tell me that and I will give you a drink and maybe we can discuss things further." The man said to Senji.

OoC: @Blinnys: Long story short the guy in front of him is among the strongest in the whole world. Senji can't beat him solo. Generally speaking, in a group battle, he should be part of a team. In a one on one battle, he should at least feel like he is capable of losing. As long as you show respect for the world and such (Mechs and Golems are legitimate threats), I won't have much problem. Just know that destroying buildings will make him a target.

He shouldn't be a problem, I'm just letting you know the stuff he's capable of in advance. He tends to wreck shit when he fights.

Jessica breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing what Ardimas said. Maybe they won't think I'm a spy after all. She slowly turned her head to look at where Ardimas was motioning, and eventually saw Savranth. [sub]"Uh...I guess that might be true....I think I passed about...I'm assuming it was a while ago...so I don't really know how I got here."[/sub]

Grace looked to a doctor, "Uh... Could I meet someone? A girl... Named Jessica..." he asked.

Joti grunted as the blade stabbed through his chest, and felt it slice deeply into his heart. He grunted and let his arm drop, before, with shaking hands, removed his acid scarred helmet. He looked Ness in the face with his small eyes, his tusks adjusting themselves in a wordless display of... something. [sub]"Talk to my son. He shall give you the tool you fought for so hard."[/sub] he slowly leaned into the blade, letting it slice into him deeper until it began cutting into the spine. [sub]"Please. Finish me."[/sub]

Yukino nodded along with Persephone. [color=bb66bb] "I need to find Fedora myself, so I can get back to that volcano. Looks like me and Madam Smoke are going to stick together for a while..." [/color]

Ness shuddered a bit at what the predator asked her that. Sure... she could shoot an armored horse, or tranquilize a few soldiers... but this? She shivered a bit before a single tear ran down her face. [small] "I'm... so... sorry..." [/small] Crying a bit more, she gripped the blade tightly and ripped it out of the predator viciously, cutting his spine and cleaving a massive hole in his chest.

She stepped back from the predator bleeding out and the blood stained blade before falling to her knees, sobbing a bit. This didn't need to... But I couldn't just ignore the man's pride, either.... DAMN IT!

Black nodded. "Well if you two need to find someone I guess I could tag along" She said. "If....that's okay?"

Entering the palace, Loki and Rita made their way to the audiance chamber where they had met Garzic previously.

"It's been a few hours. I found this man and a woman watching over you and fending off enemies from attacking you during the battle. We brought you to a medical bay when we could and transferred you here afterwards. Are you well?" Ardimas asked. "If so, you may accompany us to meet the King."

"Uh... Not right now. We're very busy treating the injured. You'll have to wait, miss." The doctor said as he went about his work.

"Follow me." Tiberius said as he turned away to lead Senji to the main building. Once inside he would bring out a glass and fill it with some water from a crystal in a sink. It had obviously been modified since the crystal was magical, but much of everything around them was technological in nature, just stripped of the technology.

Tiberius puts the glass down in front of Senji and sits across from him. "Now, what can I do for you?" He asked calmly.

"I'd love your company." Persephone said to Black.

Grace nodded, twiddling her thumbs.

After her sobbing fit, she wiped her eyes and slowly began to shuffle back out of the room, her outfit slightly bloodstained, as she looked for the predator that had led her to the room.

Senji gulped water, and then gave a toothy grin. 'Don't know, man. I mean... you tell me I'm not on earth, except everyone here looks human enough to me. I guess you can start by tellin' me if anyone else like me has shown up here.'

He finished his water. 'I guess if you're at war, I wouldn't mind a fight. It's all I'm good for, but I'm... very good for it.'

"Nice to know" Black reply to Persephone. "I suppose I'll have to put with you and your jokes then" She added to Yukino, with a small smile. "Shall we make a move now then?" She asked both of them.
