Yuki gave the muse a small wink and stuck out her tongue. [color=bb66bb] "Riiiight. Sexual orientation aside, it's about time we got to doing what we needed to do." [/color] The foxgirl disguised herself as a long red-haired woman with a plain white t-shirt and blue jeans before hopping off the roof and landing silently in an alleyway. "Let's get going, shall we?" She called to the muse before beginning her search for Chafla.

Ness nodded toward Jessica. "That explains that... By the way, I managed to keep Lyra from dying from that poison, so we should be able to focus on the key now." She chuckled a bit toward Grace. "From what I've seen, I wouldn't doubt it."

Grace nodded, "I wonder if there are vampires too, 'OooOOOooh, I'm going to suck your BloooOOoooOOOooD!' If that's the case, then some T-bone steaks for dinner, to take them out."

"The fleet headed west when they retreated, so that is the direction we shall go towards." Loki answered Rita, making his way out of town, to where he had left Fafnir. Walking up to the, Loki patted her on the snout as a greeting, then began undoing the knot of the reins. "As I had said, several hundred worth of ship could not be all that difficult to find." He paused as Loki thought of something. "Hmm. Garzic's logic makes less and less sense, the more I think on it. Why would they send others with us, when we need cross the ocean? They cannot fly, and if they were to take an airship, the alarm would raise the moment they would even near the base."

Hit by the lightning, should the knights and wizards have need of a fuel for their magic, a portion of this fuel would be sapped.

They don't need them? What magic could posibly be the cause of that? Erica mentally asked Tophat, being relatively calm given the circumstances.
With the wizards momentarily incapacitated, and a knight nearing, Erica dropped the ward spell she had on stand-by, and instead formed spheres of icy cold in both her hands. Holding both hands out towards the knight, wrists pressed together, she unleased a large cone of cold at him.

The knights who marched towards Valentine stepped on the Lightning Runes Erica had placed. The one that was stepped on exploded in a blast of electricity, and this resulted in the other two runes detonating also.

Valentine shivered as she patted the black fire out. This isn't normal fire... Best avoid touching it again. As the runes exploded, Valentine jumped back to avoid being caught within the blast radius.

"Well, we're not agreeing to anything until we know exactly what these things are about. I want you to go out there and spy on them, but keep your distance this time. See what they're doing."

[sub]"Oh, is that what you went off and did while that battle was happening?"[/sub] Jessica asked Ness, remembering she said something about being absent from the battle scene, though she herself didn't take notice of that. [sub]"Well good. You made the right choice."[/sub] Hearing her comment about the key, Jessica added, [sub]"Oh...that...um, I kind of have different priorities at the moment...Savranth wants to do some things for the King so we can look into whoever's trying to kill him, so I'm going to help with that for now."[/sub]

 

[Furioso]

Rita thought for a moment "I wonder if he's trying to get rid of us, his plan seemed tailored to reducing our survivability."

"Roger, I'm not sure how they snuck up on me last time... a scout seemed to appear behind me, I'll be more careful." said Envy as he started making his way back.

Ness looked down a little bit. "I suppose so... Hopefully, we can openthe temple sometime soon. I'll come to check up on you every once in a while then. And be careful if you're pursuing whoever's after Savranth."
The fedora girl giggled a small bit at Grace's antics.

Yuki continued to walk through Lakewest looking for Chafla. [color=bb66bb] How hard can it be to find a raving lunatic here? [/color]

Grace thought for a moment, "I wonder if some old man will offer us a sword to fight evil to save all of hyrule or something." she said, chuckling, "'It's dangerous to go alone, take this!'"

Percey was still following Yukino, silently gliding along.

"A high posibility. Of course, we will return the favour in time." Having undone the knot, Loki mounted Fafnir. Once Rita did the same, he comanded the dragon to take to the skies and headed west. After some time of flying, two islands came within sight, with a third, larger island much further away. "This would be an good place to start. But, which island to search first. Any suggestions?" Loki asked Rita.

Chafla was where he was most of the time, that is to say, near the Spice Rack, at the edge of the lake. At present, he was facing the lake, cursing under his breath.

Jessica nodded to Ness and let a small smile creep onto her face again. [sub]"If this whole experience has taught me anything, it's that I should be way more careful from now on."[/sub] She chuckled once again. [sub]"And I'll contact you as soon as I'm well enough to reactivate our link."[/sub] Most of Grace's references were going straight over Jessica's head, so a puzzled look formed on her face as a result of them.

Grace looked at Jessica's face, and seemed to deflate a bit (Though still seeming pretty bubbly) "You don't get them, huh... I suppose you never heard of the Legend of Celdia?" she said.

Yuki looked back toward Persephone and raised an eyebrow. "You've really got to teach me how to do that gliding thing." She remarked before looking toward Chafla. [color=bb66bb] ...Well, he looks dumb enough in that hat. [/color] "Uh.... sir? What's wrong?" The disguised foxgirl asked, feigning concern.

Ness was also a bit lost on Grace's references and her expression showed this well. She nodded a bit happily toward Jessica. "Alright, glad to hear it! ...Ah, it looks like you got some new clothes as well. I should probably buy some myself." She got up for a moment, getting ready to take her leave, her clothes still dingy.

"Hmm I would guess the largest island, but maybe we should start with the smallest ones first, so we don't pass anything,"

"I fear I wouldn't be able to do that. I am only able to do it thanks to my muse heritage." Persephone said to Yukino.

[sub]"Uh...no, I haven't."[/sub] Jessice replied to Grace, shaking her head slightly. [sub]"We're probably from different planets...so don't really expect too many cultural references to land."[/sub] Turning back to Ness, she seemed a little sad that her friend was leaving. [sub]"Alright. Good luck with that!"[/sub] She replied, her voice still carrying some enthusiasm.

Grace seemed even more disappointed, "Aww... Maybe if I ever get back home, you could come over, play it some time... Though Tedd did mention something, about cultures from different universes having similar cultures, like Klingons and Vikings." she said. "I don't suppose either would ring a bell." She see's Ness, and waves goodbye, "Good luck!"
