[small]"I can't help but feel useless though..."[/small] Jessica muttered to herself. Noticing Ness wave to Grace, she glanced back and waved as well, mostly out of formality. She looked over the pictures that Ness showed her with interest. "Well this one here looks kinda like that same key that the greedy androgynous guy had that let use get into that one temple." She commented, pointing at one of the pictures. "The rest of these don't really ring any bells though."

Yuki shrugged as she began to wander a bit. [color=bb66bb] "Don't know... Don't really care. As long as we're not on that rooftop again, I'm fine with wherever... except Legaia of course." [/color]

Ness nodded. "Right. Try to keep a look out for things that may fit into those holes. I'll try to find that key that man had. With any luck, we'll be able to open another temple that Yukino had found." She didn't pick up on Jessica's muttering, so she had nothing to say to it.

"Suppose we could just wonder about" Black said to Yukino. "See where the roads take us..."

"A little travel with some friends sounds lovely." Persephone said as she gliding with the other two girls.

"Alright. Not sure if I'll find anything, but I'll keep an eye out." Looking over the pictures once again, she added, "These kind look like that place everyone first showed up at." She looked up from the pictures and back at Ness, "Did you say there was another temple?"

Ness nodded again. "Yes, she said she had found an 'unopenable door that needed a key' around Rockbyrd. It may be a bit of a stretch, but the key that's needed to open it may be the same as the one that man had. Another guess would be that there are four temples, given there are four indentations, accompanied with the key. And yes, this is an altar that was nearby where we were originally dropped off."

Yuki smirked as she started to head for the city limits, going north. [color=bb66bb] "Road trip would be a lot more fitting if we had a car... But walking's fine too, I guess." [/color] She replied to the duo behind her.

"If you get tired, I'll be sure to carry you." Persephone said to Yukino.

"I suppose if you can get your hands on that key, it couldn't hurt to check." Jessica suggested. She let out a glum sounding sigh. "Except that Rockbyrd is over-run by those guys that want Lyra dead still....Assuming there are other altars, I wonder where they would be? Maybe there's some kind of pattern as to where they're placed?"

Yukino stuck out her tongue in response to Persephone. [color=bb66bb] "Thanks for the offer, but I don't think I'll end up getting tired at all. I'll do the same for you though." [/color]

Ness put her hand to her chin. "That's true, but the fox has her ways to get around those things. If there are more out there, I can't say I'd know for sure where they would be or if there is a pattern. We'd just have to keep checking books, asking people and the like in hopes for hints on them. The only thing I'd guess at is the temples being at the four corners of the continent, seeing as our first one was around the southwest corner..."

Persephone chuckled a little.

Jessica scratched her head as she began to think. "Hmm...what about checking mountains? The first temple was on top of a mountain, and I would think that big door would probably be hidden in the mountains near Rockbyrd. And that first altar was on top of a mountain too..." She stated, vocalizing her thought process as she thought she had noticed a pattern.

Ness took a look at her map and nodded slightly. "That was a trend... It's at least worth a shot. Not only that, but the towns nearby should have people somewhat knowledgeable in ruins or digging up artifacts. I'll definitely try it. Thanks Jessica."

Loki had spend the majority of the voyage leaning on the railing of the starboard of the deck, growing impatient with how long the voyage was taking. For a lack of anything better to do, he was listening in on Jessica and Ness talk.

Yuki looked back and nodded as they ended up outside the city limits. [color=bb66bb] "Sure, I know that... [small] I guess I like hanging around you too." [/small] Think you enjoy a little too much for me... [/color] She thought as she laced her hands behind her head as she walked.

Jessica had been glancing out at the ocean as she was thinking. She turned her head back to Ness when she heard her speak again. "Huh? Oh, I was just thinking out loud. But if that helped, then, uh, you're welcome." She went back to looking at the island as she finished speaking.

"I'm so very happy to hear you've warmed up to me." Persephone replied as she glided next to Yukino.

Ness adjusted her fedora as she looked out toward the island. "Hmm... I've never really been the sea travelling type. Guess I'll get going now, I don't really have a reason to stay and keep you from your duties. Good luck, Jess." She gave her friend a tight hug before stepping away and teleporting back into her hotel room in Port Letosh. She clutched her head again as she appeared in her bed. Agh.... I hate this... so much...

Yukino let out a small sigh under her breath before looking toward the muse. [color=bb66bb] "I'm sure you are. Just try to take it easy on the foreplay. I can't kill you, nor can an innocent maiden like myself be expected to handle such advances." [/color] She spoke in a fake dignified tone.

"Oh dear. I had no idea I was violating the tender sensibilities of such a refined young maiden. I do sincerely apologize." Persephone said in a shockingly regal tone as she made a very formal curtsy in front of Yukino.
