"Garzic is the King of Xiphatia. If it could be helped... I'd like to avoid fighting him. He's even stronger than my father, and can crush opponents without even lifting a finger, they say. Sebastion is the Prime Minister of Legaia. Either way, we will probably end up facing one of them or their armies before the war is over."

Jessica got out of her bed in her hotel room at Port Letosh. Checking where Savranth and Ness were, she frowned again upon seeing that they insisted on hanging around in Fourside, the city she found so vile she half-rooted for the Xiphatians to win the war so she could see it burn to the ground. She sighed and decided on a different plan of action. She teleported to the riverside at Holadino and walked into town.

Noel gave a small smile to Tao and looked at Grace saying. "Tao here is trying to break a habit. As for why she is straying away... Well, can't tell you because I have no idea as well."

Lyra eventually spotted Rita and Loki, and kept a tab on them, waiting for them to finish their dealings before poking over and saying hey to the killstealer. Xyleena curled at her feet, and Marcus leaned against... Whatever was nearby that was convenient to lean against.

He turned to Charlotte. "Well, we could try going to the bases in the West. I'm sure either force would welcome some help. Though, we may have to jump through some hoops."

Jessica would find that Holadino was much the same as always. The beastkin worked the fields, with a few humans here and there, though most were coming back in to enjoy the rest of the day off. The military presence was just as constant, though more agitated as they seemed to be preparing their defense. A few soldier eyed her as she entered the town.

"Steal a boat and take it out to sea. But you don't look like the type of lass who could handle a ship very well. And your companion looks inclined to sit on his rear. Always stowaways. But that runs certain risks..."

Tao practically hid behind Noel. "Can we go eat somewhere, meow?" she asked in a pleading tone.
Lyra and company would have noticed that most of the ships were rather nice. Clean, small, and simple, though some looked large and well built. Yachts. But they all seemed to be anchored, for some reason. It seemed that the civilians were staying in port.
