Envy would find a rather large military pressence at the base, consisting of numerous infantry, vehicles, mechs and droids.

A few citizens looked at Rookie as he absailed out of the window.
"Did... that guy just climb out of a window?"
"Looks like it. Should we go inform someone?"

One of the citizens thought for a moment before saying, "Bah, I don't need to prove a damn thing to you. Go chase after your tail or whatever it is your kind spend the day doing."

As Wrazon spoke, some of the beastkin looked up from their rebuilding effort, their faces taking on an expression of horror upon seeing the creature before them.
"Oh no... Not another one!" one of them exclaimed, backing of at a steady pase, dropping the hammer he was holding. Others remained silent, yet their anxiety was obvious.
OoC @Furioso: Let's see... Destroyed buildings... Two, i think, while others were heavily damaged. As for the kill count, that would be 12 beastkin, plus 3 treants.

Wrazon stopped and raised two hands in a placating fasion. "Worry not." He said. "I shall not deliver more destruction to this place. I simply seek information, starting with what happened here." One of his spare hands gestured around the area.

Envy examined the terrain, specifically, what the terrain was like outside of the base. He also looked into the base to see if there were any obvious locations that would make for easy eavesdropping.

The Rookie saw Laguna walking around Fourside, and stopped to look at him for a moment. While he didn't recognize the other soldier, he did notice that he wasn't like the other citizens milling about.

Envy would find the area next to the mountain range to be consisting mostly of grassland, with rolling hills in the distance. There were severable viable locations for evesbropping on conversations between soldiers, but no higher ranking personel could be seen out in the open.

The beastkin said nothing to Wrazon, and continued to back off until a reasonable distance was between them and him. Several soldiers that were aiding the reconstruction of Everwood, were alert to the comotion and approached it, their swords drawn. They too gave Wrazon a glare, but their was more suspicious, rather then it was fearful.
"What's going on here?" one of the soldiers asked a beastkin.
"He... That." the beastkin began, pointing towards Wrazon. "He says he wants to know what's going on."
The soldier hmm'd as he turned back to Wrazon. "This place was attacked two days ago. Why do you want to know? Who, or what are you?" he asked, approaching carefully.

Charlotte walked near the mouth of the mines as she looked around first, then placed the spherical object inconspicuously near the mouth as the object burrowed and disappeared without a trance.

Envy dropped down near some talking soldiers, making sure to be as inconspicuous as possible, which, since he was just a bird, wouldn't be much of a problem in his mind.

"Hmph." He murmered as he digested the thought as the man stepped towards him. "I'm Wrazon Draaken, Haemonculus of the coven of the Dark Descent." He pressed a hand against where his heart used to be, the organ having been replaced with a similar organ that pumped acidic ichor through his veins. "It pains me to see such destruction, the culprits must be aprehended." He said, not even trying to mask the sarcastic tone he used. He had several convincing lies but descided to abandon them in favour of another idea. "How goes the war effort" He said now spreading all of his arms.
@Nail: Do you know where the altar is on @Salty's world map? I'm assuming it's the 'pi' symbol near the Forward Base.

@wacky: WOOHOO, I don't think Fourside was ever going to be decimated, and the hotel is perfectly fine, you missed some casual racism, and I don't think they are.
