Lyra awoke to find Marcus snoring as he leaned against a tree, Xyleena lying in one of its top branches, keeping watch.

"Those who shout of their ability have none." The soldier replied.

[hr]

"Can we continue these proceedings?" The soldier asked.

[hr]

"You might adjust your tune if you saw it, Ms White..." Kiva said as she walked back to her car motioning for White to follow.

Well, this could certainly prove promising. And if no one else has bothered looking into it, I might as well do this. Jessica thought, her resolve in pursuing the issue increasing once more. She decided to read through the rest of the book, just to be certain she had taken in as much information about the topic as could be said.

OOC: @Silver: I think that'll be good enough for me to use. Though would the potion be labeled?

@Salty: Where can I go with Maria, Zero and Lilah from the altar and ruins in the mountains? In other words what is the closest town?

White just gave a small smile. "If you cared to show me, I can make a proper judgement myself..." She replied, she put her hood back up and followed the car.
[hr]
"Sure, let's go" and do whatever She said to the soldier.

OoC: @Salty, time bubble please!
I need sleep ;_;

Sophia first fired off several novice level wind gusts like she had done for Jessica, they were a bit stronger now, but still nothing too special. She then tried to attempt an adept technique of forcing the air into a cutting swipe. Although the magical dust that she used for the wind magic formed and released from her hand, the target only seemed to get knocked around by it, and not cut.

She tried to demonstrate the fundementals of earth magic, but couldn't even get a pebble to move.

As she tried to do fire magic the instructor would notice that although she had the technique down, Sophia couldn't get the condensed magic to actually ignite, so it only looked like she was doing a lame wind demonstration as puffs of chocolate dust came out.

For her lightning magic she tried to generate as big of a spark as possible, but only managed to get it to go a short distance between her two hands, and not hit anything.

Sophia took a deep breath as she brought forth an orb of her chocolate magic. She started to do as she did before curling the chocolate into a whip and hitting the targets that randomly appeared. As she finished, a large cloud of targets appeared in front of her. She swiped her hand up above her head, making the chocolate stream flow up over her in an arch. She then grunted a little as she clamped down on her hands, as the entire stream condensed into shards of solid chocolate magic. The shards hung in the air for a moment before she brought her hands forward and launched the hail storm. A few missed their target, but a large majority hit their mark.

The final shard she had she pulled into the slingshot position she had done before, but this time it seemed to have wind magic coming from the back of it, as she let if fly, it rocketed to the final target and smashed it to pieces.

The glyphs of the training room were almost working overtime as Sophia did her routine.

@Zeph: Chocolate magic?
You're probably the only person who would come up with chocolate magic.

"Shall we continue this then? Can you explain that we need her help to prosecute the one who kidnapped, assaulted, and... undressed her for purposes I'd rather not think about?" The soldier asked Blair. "She seems mentally handicapped which is probably why that monster targeted her."

[hr]

The rest of the book was statements about the number of people who lived, worked in and Valencheirn. It stated facts about the number of people who lived there and the number who had died. Even on the numbers of births in the city.

This fact may stand out:
Code:
There were approximately, 30 children born to families from both nations. Sadly, all data indicates that those children were killed in the conflict, if not in the initial attack itself.

Echo silently growled at the "mentally handicapped" comment. Holly tried hugging her more tightly to make her feel better, which worked. Blair would explain Echo's impairment to the soldier as best as she could.

"The energy used in the creation of the planet, you say? Is such a thing posible to harness by a person?" Loki asked Rita.
[hr]
As Sophia presented her skill with magic, the teacher of elemental magic took various notes. How quick Sophia was in casting the spells, how accurate they were, the power they carried and how strenuous they were for the caster. When it was shown Sophia failed to propperly execute fire and earth magic, notes were taken what went wrong in the process of casting, and how Sophia could overcome the obstacles preventing her from executing the spells propperly.

"A good demonstrating. You've made excelling progress with wind and water magic, especially with the latter. Fire magic, it seems, is troublesome for you to get the hang of, but I'm certain that with more dedication to this paticular element, you'll be able to use it before long. Earth magic seems difficult for you. It would perhaps be better to focus more on the other spells, rather then put time in effort in getting earth spells to work. Afterall, it's better to excel at one field, then be mediocre in several.

The final verdict; you have reached Adept level for both wind and water spells. A impressive feat, given the fact that you've been studying for only a short amount of time. You have accomplished in a few weeks, what others take months, if not years. Keep it up!" Having said her verdict, the teacher of elemental magic stepped back. Next, a well-built man stepped forward.

"Alright. Next, please show what you've learned with Physical magic."

"Okay, and how is that any different than what I said? She still needs to press charges. Or we will have to allow than monster to go free. And then, he'll only be prosecuted when he commits these acts again." The soldier answered.

Ridcully glares at him, "Well, how about me and you go to the test? Did it ever occur to you that if a wizard was to shout it at the sky and offer a challenge, he might actually be capable of doing what he promises?" he shouts, "And what am I exactly accused of doing?" he shouts.

OoC: So, any chance we can wrap up the fight? I'd rather not have another time bubble for it. Not sure who's on who needs to be on though

"Harness? No. The energy would exist in an enclosed space of my creation for just a moment before dispersing, not to mention the fantastic risk I would put myself in by attempting the arte. The energy from the pure essence of each element would have to be fired directly at me, at which point I would use a modified version of my anti-magic shield to convert the energy once it strikes it. If my math is wrong my shield will simply break, allowing portions of the energy to strike me and seriously wound me at best. If it works there will be tremendous devastation, but in a very small area."

Well now, what have we here? Certainly something worth keeping in mind. Jessica thought as she committed that particular fact to memory. She shut the book and placed it back on the shelf where she had found it, having extracted and devoted as much information it held to memory as she cared to. She sat back down at the table she was sitting at before, this time with no book in front of her as she was attempting to plan out her next courses of action.
