As Brooke and Ridicully wandered through Valencheirn, they would notice the ghost had vanished during the late hours of the night, and reappeared in the morning, the ashes falling on to the charred corpses, and subsequently rising from their beds, as if waking up. Now walking through the streets, some of the ghosts went go to work, while other lingered and socialised with one another.
OoC @Furioso: Hai. The dragon den is now de-time bubble'd.
When an oppertunity presented itself, Loki ran past the dragon's legs, ducking under it underside. There, he moved up towards the chest where he poked the dragon where he assumed its heart was. Seemingly, Loki guessed right, as the blue energy flowed from the gem in the scepter, into the dragon's heart. Its eyes briefly turned pitch-black, afterwhich its once yellow eyes were blue. However, it hadn't quite the effect Loki anticipated. Feeling something touch its chest. Eventhough it couldn't see what poked it, the dragon was still pissed off. In rage, the dragon blindly lashed out with it right paw in the general direction where it felt the poke, managing to hit Loki and swatting him away, making him smash against a wall, this dispelled the cloak on both himself and Rita.
Now looking over the intruders in its den, the dragon roared, then turned towards Rita, teeth bared.

Ridicully's finger passes straight through the ghost's shoulder as he attemped to poke it. When the ghost turned around, what ashes stuck to his finger flowed back in to the ghost. After looking Ridicully over, the ghost said,
[sub]"Ghost? Oh, I see what you're doing here. Nice that you're an actor and all, but there's really no reason to be in-character when you're not on stage."[/sub]

"Excuse me, but could you tell me what the date is?" she asked, curiously.
"Excuse me, but could you tell me what the date is?" she asked, curiously.
With a grunt, Loki pulled himself up, using the cave wall as suport for the moment. "That could have gone better..."
The dragon let out a deep snarl as it looked at Rita with piercing blue eyes, then turned its body to the side slightly, lashing out at Rita with its tail.

[sub]"The date?"[/sub] the ghost repeated, turning to Brooke. [sub]"It's April 12th, 8957 AE XX."[/sub]
When Ridicully tried to hit the ghost upside the head, his staff passed right through it. Once again, any ash that had stuck to the staff flowed back into the ghost. [sub]"Rude!"[/sub] the ghost exclaimed, believing Ridicully had only hit the ground at the ghost's feet.

"What the hell, it looks like it worked, why is she trying to kill me!" yelled Rita as she ducked under the tail before chanting "Grant them thy undefiled purity...Splash!" at the end of the chant a large mystical pot would appear above the dragon before pouring quite a large amount of water on it
As the dragon's tail struck the wall, it cracks on the stone. The dragon was about to lash out again when Rita cast her spell. The sheer quantity of water pouring down from the jug onto the dragon, making it struggle to remain upright, giving Rita the chance to put distance between herself and it.
"It is a beast. It doesn't understand the concept of one's place in life. It still needs to be taught." Loki called out, answering Rita. Rubbing his side, Loki approached the dragon, weary of its tail. "Bow down to me, beast!"

Ridicully would find that quite a significant of magic hung in the air. Both the 'fallout' from when the battle that destroyed Valencheirn took place, and whatever means gave life to the ghosts.

Before you ask, you can say Makoto was brought along with everyone else to the ghost town that they are in, or she can be at a military base, but no one there is on right now.Gearhead mk2 said:

"Would you like to buy a statuette? Hand-crafted, amazing quality, low prices!" she said to various ghosts that passed by.

Running back a bit to put some distance between her and the dragon, Rita stopped and turned back to face it. A green circle appeared under her as she started to charge a spell, but she held it instead of casting it, waiting to see how the Dragon would react to Loki
