When Jessica reached the college she headed straight for the library. As she went, she said to those who followed with her, "I'll be in the library for what might be a while if anyone needs me. I've got things to look into." She entered the library and began looking around in the history section. She was specifically looking for a book regarding the second to last cycle of war, trying to find out why the land Valencheirn was on was so important to have a war waged over it.

"Thought you wanted something from me. People always do." Marston said as he started walking away from the general and stopped after a few steps.
Tao only whimpered in response and backed away from the soldier.

Ness nodded toward Jessica before making her way toward the school's cafeteria. She looked around for any signs of Tao and was a little worried not to find any. If she's not here... where could she have ended up? ...Maybe I shouldn't worry so much... She can handle herself, I'm sure.

One of the earth mages sent up a stone slab that collapsed around Tao's hands as she backed up, making a set of cuffs behind her back. "You've caused why a fair amount of trouble, beastkin..." The guard said sternly, grabbing her by the cuffs.
