Ridcully shrugs, and asks, "You have a mirror? I think I could find one." he said, pulling out a book and reading, idly throwing his staff up and down, up and down, smashing it into the ground.

Having found relatively little, Envy left the building (as a fly) and headed back to the prison, disguising himself as the Old Woman from the night before, he headed inside.

Jessica smiled a little as she found the book she was looking for. She reached out and took it from the shelf. Feeling a little bored of the library's atmosphere, and remembering something else she wanted to do while she was still at the school, she took the book with her as she went outside. She cracked the book open and began to read as she made her way towards the main tower in Winterhorn.

The crow continued flying around the Legaian base, flying around and resting on a perch periodically as birds are often known to wont to do.

Tao still wasn't moving on her own as her feet dug into the ground, staring at Grace, now confused.

"Pleasure talking to you, sir." Marston said as he left the room and started making his way to the gate.

"Well then. Let us bring about a change in that." Loki said to Rita, then turned towards the dragon, brought the fingers of his left hand to his mouth and whistled on them in an attempt to wake the dragon up.

The target Savranth hit, disappears.

Sheathing his sword. Savranth began to perform strikes with High Speed movement. "Why do you need a mirror? Besides, you shouldn't be doing that here. This is a training facility."

The same soldier that had used earth magic before did it again, but this time breaking the ground underneath Tao's feet so she wasn't holding herself down. The soldier that was still holding Tao's puffs kept her steady.

One of the guards further out smirked. "Well well..." He said, turning to another guard. "Make sure that squirrel beastkin gets to the base. We definitely need her testimony." He said jokingly. The other one nodded.

Sophia was racking her brain at this point, trying to remember if she'd seen Vanessa specifically in the first couple days. If the woman in front of her was from her own world she would be in serious danger. After thinking about it though she eventually remembered vague instances where she'd seem Vanessa, like when she went to the inn in Lakewest. "Maybe..?" She eventually answered.

 

[Saltyk]

The dragon rises it's head and yawns with a mighty sound. Hot air filling the cave before it. The two cubs begin to mill about and mew having been disturbed. The mother went over to her brood and began to nuzzle them.

Rita stood up in preperation in case the Dragon was angered by the saddle once applied

"Oh... hello young man, I came last night b-but visiting hours were over. I-I'm here to visit...oh... I'm sorry, I can't quite remember his name...If I-I saw his face I-I'm sure I would remember him."

Tao went back to being limply dragged along, thoroughly depressed. "Why is this happening to Tao, meow..." she muttered to herself.

Well when the "plot" involves someone completely new to this place being asked to sign up to fight in a war for a guy he knows nothing about and people who have shown him outright distrust for a trivial reason (from his perspective at least)...

"How do you not remember his name? Who is this person to you?" The guard asked.

OoC: @Outis: Guy with guns, in a land where their enemy uses tech... Totally trivial to think they shouldn't just let him walk out the front door!

Ridcullly closes the book, and with a lance of magic, strikes a hole through a target with ease, "I need the mirror to find the group, do a little scrying." he says.

Grace looked at them, "I'm staying with her, like it or not." she said.

Well that fits in line with what I read in those ruins. I guess that's something. Jessica thought to herself. She entered the lobby of the main tower and walked up to the desk. "Excuse me, but could I ask a question about your staff? I wanted to know whether someone I heard of works here or not." She said, addressing whoever was at the desk. As she waited for a reply, she went back to reading her book a bit more.

The crow flew off and out of the Legaian base. Acting as if purely on a whim, it flew off towards the west. Upon reaching Pewtercove, it flew around some more, seeming to be looking for a graveyard or something else of the sort of place crows tend to congregate.

Ness tilted her head more, eventually leaning a tiny bit closer toward Sophia. ...It has been a long time, so her not remembering clearly makes some sense. But there's still a chance at her recognizing me somewhat... "I see... So you've been displaced from your world, like I was mine... I guess you've been hit by the anomaly as well..."

Rex eventually walks away from the scene, a little bored. Remembering his agreement with Lyra, he started to walk down the lakeside toward Pewtercove.

@Zeph, I applaud the Xiphatians for getting access to Oblivion guards, those guys are good

OOC: Meanwhile, the Legaian guards are all ex-adventurers suffering from projectile-related upper-shin injuries.

@Salty: Marston is talking to Tiberius. A guy who took Noel's gun and fired it to get proof that the group were from a different universe.

Loki laid down his scepter, resting it against a wall, an approached the dragon from the front, doing so relatively slow so to not startle her. Once close enough, he reached out with his right hand, holding the reins with the left.

Steiner came up to Rex "Is she really just that of a child's mind?"He asked about Tao. Nak came up to Rex with a bit of popcorn in his hand "how did the date go, I already know how it went though so don't expect me to surprised"

Marston got his horse and once again approched the gate to leave.

Echo kept reading in the library with Holly sleeping on a table near her.

He's...bored by seeing someone he knows, and presumably thinks is at least generally all right, getting dragged away by the military?

Ridcully could find a full length mirror in the corner.

"Who are you looking for?" The staff member asked.

It is believed that the reason Xiphatian magic reacts negatively to Legaian technology is God's warning to his people never to follow that path.  It is God's rejection of the fallen people's technology.
