We Are Our Avatars VI (Closed for Good)

Jessica looked away from Sophia and started scratching her neck again. "Alright, that's fine. We can just not talk about it. I'll try to keep my curiosity to myself then." She replied to Sophia, her tone sounding greatly apologetic. She then simply nodded to Sophia and walked into the training room.

 

[Zepherus14]

"[sub]Maybe some day...[/sub]" She said with a slight smile.

Sophia started by activating her first level speed magic, the brown clouds curling off of her as she started moving at a higher level of reflects. Targets would fly towards her, and she would have to dodge them. Any that hit would leave almost like a paint splat impression that would indicate a hit. Half way through the exercise switched and instead of moving out of the way, she needed to catch the targets.

Other than balance issues it seemed that she had a pretty good handle on it.

She did various other things using her strength variant to try to jump high, which did seem to work a bit, but it wasn't very reliable. She also used her water variant to freeze it to a shield shape which although was an inferior attempt to try to get something with Shield magic she still wanted to get it right.

All the while the glyphs were glowing and Jessica wouldn't smell any chocolate.

Jessica sat nearby and observed Sophia as she practiced. She kept quiet throughout most of the display, since she didn't have any knowledge about how magic worked in this world, so she couldn't do anything along the lines of offering advice. She took note of the glyphs constantly glowing and the smell of chocolate fading, but didn't say anything about it.

Sophia continued to cycling through more of her different magic outlets, but nothing too fancy, although at the same time she did have more skill in a few than Jessica had last seem. After a while Sophia felt satisfied with her effort. "How did I do?" She panted a little but had a smile, seemingly tired herself workout. The glyph in the room were nearly out, but still ever so slightly visible.

"Sir, I would like for you to wait the night, I am not properly authorized to release you or otherwise. In the morning you will have the opportunity to ask someone of higher authorization." The guard said to Hellosh.

 

[Zepherus14]

"Just over here." The guard said to Hellosh. Showing Hellosh to some couches.

 

[Drakmorg]

"It looks like you're improving to me." Jessica encouragingly told Sophia, putting a small smile on her face. She stood up from her seat and added, "Yep. Keep this up and I'm sure you'll be running this place at some point....assuming that's what you want to do, of course."

 

[Zepherus14]

"Run this place?" Sophia said surprised. "No... [sub]I just want to control my magic.[/sub]" She said shyly.

OoC: I maybe have one more post in me for tonight. I'm le tired.

"Oh? Well, I'm sure that will just be a matter of time at this point." Jessica replied to Sophia. "But really though, that's all you want to do? You don't have any plans for what to do after you learn how to control your magic?" She added as she slowly started to fill with curiosity again.

 

[Kirke]

The Rookie slept in his cell, snoring lightly.

 

[Zepherus14]

"I hope you're right..." She said with a sigh.

"As for what after? I... I don't know? Before this." She did a little sweeping motion of the room. "Or this..." She said as she looked at her hand as she called a small amount of brown mist to her hand. The glyphs responding to the increase in magic use.

"I just thought that I'd... inherit the farm... meet a nice guy... [sub]maybe start a business of my own...[/sub]" She sniffed a little, but she didn't start crying, she was actually smiling and blushing a little. "Now I'm not so sure what to do since I don't think I can ever go back..."

 

[Drakmorg]

Jessica found herself smiling at Sophia a little as well. "Ah well, you're still young. You've got time to figure it out. You can still do whatever you want. At least you're not halfway through your life without having accomplished anything, like me. At least...that's what I assume..." She let out a sigh as she looked at the floor and scratched her head a bit.

 

[Zepherus14]

"Hehe I guess you're right..." She said, a little embarrassed. "Well I should probably get to bed, it's getting late." She yawned with a stretch. "I guess I have something to think about before bed tonight then?" She said a little cheeky. She headed for the door, but then turned around when she remembered something. "Oh and if you see Vanessa later, could you say hello to her for me? Today wasn't one of my better days..." She said, scratching the back of her hood. "Bye."

She then left Jessica to do as she wanted in the training room, the rooms completely shutting down.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Oh, you met Vanessa? Okay, I'll be sure to tell her that. Goodnight." Jessica said to Sophia as she left. She stayed in the training room by herself for a little while. Eventually, there was a bright flash of light coming from the room that would go wholly unnoticed at that particular time of night. Shortly afterwards, Jessica exited the room, then called up a portal, which she promptly entered and disappeared into.

The next person to check the Pewtercove graveyard would find that every single grave, mausoleum, tomb, or any other spot where corpses were stored on the grounds seemed to have been emptied overnight. The graves would all look as though they had been dug up with bare hands...

OOC: Hmm. Wonder if Drak and Zeph fell asleep.

OoC: I believe they did. I'm here, if that's any help.

Grace sighed, and sat in the jail cell next to Tao.
"You know, I still don't know you all that well. I know your name from a few... what, days? Weeks? I lost track of time." she says.

Tedd Appears in Fourword base, and eventually stumbles upon Hellosh, waving at him.
"Hey! You havn't happened to see a girl, about ye high, fairly busty?" he says.

 

[Wackymon]

Tedd nodded, "Alright, that's good to know... Any idea where someone who could direct me to her is?"

Tedd, however, was also in his catgirl form, actually.

 

[Wackymon]

Tedd looked at himself, "Oh... yeah..." he said, shooting himself with the TF gun, turning him back into a Male, "She isn't a catgirl, an I was testing on the magic here. How I'm here now, I'm not entirely sure, it's sorta random." he said.

 

[Wackymon]

Tedd comments, "It's actually magic, controlled by Tech." he comments to Hellosh.
