With Ness now holding her hand, Jessica teleported out of the library and next to where Ness' car was in the forest, taking Ness with her. Once there, Jessica let go of Ness' hand almost immediately and leaned up again the car. She started panting in an attempt to catch her breath, as if that last act of teleportation took far more out of her than her usual ones seemed to.

Nybeth, having not been briefed on how exactly the attack would go down, simply watched curiously as all the soldiers seemed to file into a building of some sort. "I had assumed after such a rousing speech that we were intending on marching off to battle soon." He muttered to himself.

Ness looked a bit alarmed at Jessica's sudden panting. Damn it! Should I have just walked...? "Jessica! Are you alright?!" She asked a bit panicked. Her shock led her to not notice Ridicully on top of her car.

Seeing a decent route, Rex starts to head toward Rockbyrd.

Yukino continues to walk through the town, until she suddenly looks up toward the sky and seems to talk to it. [color=bb66bb] "Uh... Nope, not looking for anything. If you could send me some mooks to kill and a margarita, I'd pretty much be set." [/color]

Seeing Nybeth, and hearing him due to his Sensory magic, Tiberius motioned for the man to join them.

"Well, I'm not sure. One of us should stay to defend the base. It should probably be me, I think. Perhaps Athena should lead the troops into battle. Volarian, I think it would be wise for you to relay battle data to Athena. Savranth... should follow your orders and fight alongside you..."

Envy would find that the prison had no bars. The men were all contained within rooms that prevented their magic use and used a type of shield magic to keep them in their cells.

"Agreed."

Being only a small animal, the goat was picked clean by Fafnir before long. Still smelling more meat, she raised her head and began sniffing, trying to determine where the smell came from.

"What the hell just happened?" the soldier who spoke to Tedd once he disappeared.
[hr]
"Two days?" the soldier repeated worriedly. "You're not suposed to be onconscious for more then five minutes. After more then two days... She might be brain dead." he continued. Approaching the main building, he nodded to the soldiers standing guard. "She's with me." he stated, nudging over to Maria.

"Alright then. Carry on."

Entering the main building, the soldier entered the infirmary where he laid Lilah down on a bed and called for the healer, then turned back to Maria, stepping away from the bed to alow the healer working space once he would arive.

The soldier who's colleague lead Maria in to the compound stopped searching and clutched his head once he began feeling dizzy and started seeing dark spots. "Whoa... This doesn't feel good." he said to himself. What's going on here?

"A healer? Sure. Follow me." the soldier said to Tophat as he began making his way towards the infirmary. "Anyway, odd that you haven't been given trouble for looking like a Legaian in the past." he said as he walked.

"Try to lead the Dragon somewhere, I'll feed it a leg if it obeys" said Rita as she kept an eye on the sniffing dragons

Envy kept exploring, looking for whatever would control the bars of the cells. He also took note of the ratio of guards to prisoners

 

[Wackymon]

Ridcully, still almost completely asleep, smacks Jessica over the head with his staff, still asleep on the roof of the car.[hr]
"Tedd said something about having to shift places with a fellow named Ridcully at random times." she said, "I think he's at this place called 'The Disc.'"

"Yeah...I'm fine." Jessica replied to Ness. She decided to stop standing and sat down on the ground, her back leaning up against the car. "My normal teleportation is different from when I use a circle...It takes a lot more out of me to...move more than one person....Just give me a few minutes and I'll be fine." She added, trying to sound more reassuring as she began rubbing her temples. After Ridcully smacked her in the head, she fell over onto her side and quietly groaned to herself as she clutched her head. [small]"Ah-ha-houch..."[/small]

Nybeth noticed he was being motioned to and walked over to join Tiberius and the others. "Well, what is to happen now then?" I would prefer us to move out soon. Spending my time here is so dreadfully inefficient...

Maria followed the soldier all the way to the infirmary and stood facing him whilst Lilah was seen to. "Well after she fell unconscious, she dropped a phial which said 'Potion of Healing' on it which the other person who we were confronting suggested that I should give it to her to help with her wound but I haven't seen any change since I started looking for assistance and this town was the first one we came across." she stated.

As the figure continued with their stare, the guard would feel a niggling feeling in his skull as his vision started blacking out completely and he fell to the floor unconscious. The figure also seemed to go rigid as they leaned against the wall whilst the longer they stared.

The Rookie picked up Tophat and followed the soldier.

Ness frowned a bit as she saw Jessica flop down exhausted. She got a bit pissed when Ridicully had smacked Jess in the head. Not only had he hit a friend of hers... he was trying to freeload off of her car. She wouldn't stand for it. Calmly and with a strength betraying her somewhat slim frame, she grabs Ridicully by the collar and chucks him a good distance away from the car.

Afterward, she allows her belt to glow and digistruct her gray glove. She placed her gloved right hand on Jessica's forehead. "I see... You should have told me about that, I could have walked and found the car in enough time. There was no need for you to overexert yourself like this..." She said as the white light began to glow around the two. Ness' breathing became a bit more shallow, but Jessica would find her exhaustion a lot easier to overcome.

Rex continues on to Rockbyrd.

Yukino hops onto a rooftop and starts listening to the gossip around her.

The last of the soldiers and Golems filed into the airship base. This still left a small force to repel attacks, on the base.

"Now, you all board the airship and attack the Legaian base South of here." Tiberius explained.

"Should we try to overwhelm or attack from all sides?" Athena asked.

"I leave that much up to you. Be wary of their turrets, though."

"Yes, sir. Shall we be off?" Volarian asked the others.

The soldier led Marston to an office in the main building. He knocked on the door.
"What is it? I'm busy!"
"Someone to see you, sir."
"Fine, send them in, dammit!"

Opening the door, Martson was allowed to enter and see Astasis, a man with dark brown hair and brown eyes. "What is it?"

Envy would find that the guards seemed to pass their hands over small crystals that opened and shut the cells. Most likely Envy would need to be able to use magic to use them, himself. The ratio of prisoners to guards is about 40:1.

"I hear there has been a lot of action at the base recently."
"Do you think they are planning to move out on an assault, soon?"
"Maybe..."

"I heard they caught the person who crashed that ship."
"Who was it?"
"Some bloody beastkin. Seems to be really dumb. Even for a beastkin, I hear."

"Whatever happened to the Queen?"
"Is she sick? I wasn't aware that Amalia was ill."
"No, not her... The other one... Gwendoline."
"Oh.... I haven't a clue. That was a long time ago. Probably about 20 years ago."

"Howdy sir. I'm sure you're a busy man, so I'll try to make this quick." Marston said as he stood before Astasis. "Yesterday I was talking with a general by the name of Tiberius. He decided to tell me about an attack he had planned for a enemy base to the south of his base. An attack that should come today." he continued, pausing to see what the reaction might be.

Loki nodded at Rita and stood up. Walking over to Fafnir, he grabbed hold of the reins and tugged at it. "Come, Fafnir." he said, walking towards the exited of the cave. Fafnor made no effort to follow, however, standing firmly where she was, still sniffing the air. "Try to lure it with the meat." Loki said to Rita, seeing trying to get the stubborn Fafnir to follow while it still smelled the meat would be next to imposible.

"Riiight... Well, that's none of my business." So long as he doesn't try to break you out. The soldier answered Grace. "Anyway with the war in the north, there won't be any ships departing to take you to an actual prison. So you'll be staying here for some time to come." He added, then walked off.

"I see." the soldier said to Maria, then motioned for her to leave the infirmary. "Who is this person you were confronting you mentioned?"

When the soldier passed out, for a short while, he went unnoticed. But eventually, a civilian spotted him laying on the ground. He crouched down besides the soldier to check for a pulse.

Rita did as she was told and held the meat out, trying to get Fafnir to follow


OoC: @Salty, yes but modern prisons have them open in sections, otherwise theyd have to run all over to open the cells for lunch

Ridcully bolts awake as he hit the ground, as he threw a fireball out of sheer instinct at Ness, it flying in a straight line over Ness and Jessica's head, landing on the ground, resulting in a flat-out overly dramatic mushroom cloud spawning from where the fireball landed.
"Why did you do that!" Ridcully shouted at Ness, staff in hand, anger in eyes.[hr]

Grace nodded, and idly began to twiddle her thumbs...
"So... Do you have any games you'd like to play?" she asked.

Trilby gave up on his search for the other psychopathic Mall Fighter, and headed back to the base to find out a little more about where he was.
