Marcus barks in laughter at the shot, before running off after Black, able to keep pace. "What was that, luv? Something about not getting killed?" Xyleena followed Marston, her cloaking field activating to hide her from view. Lyra followed the shots back to their source and took aim, looking for a target through the infrared scope.

"So you want to see what they sometime call Blood magic then? Do not worry, I was planning on you in particular experiencing it." Nybeth replied to Bellerophon with a chuckle. While he was leaping in the air at him, Nybeth cast Word of Pain at Bellerophon once again. He tried to dodge Bellerophon's attack again, but in taking the time to cast a spell he didn't have enough time to fully move out of the way, causing him to take a large cut across his left side, from which he started bleeding profusely from.

Jessica's eyes almost lit up upon hearing what the receptionist had to say. "That may very well be him! Is he still here now?"

The sniper fires and another soldier falls. The sound coming from the East-South-East.

With Yukino's aide, the Golems manage to crush the last of the battlemechs, allowing them to turn to the main enemy force.
However, Yukino's attempt to find the sniper would prove fruitless. It seems that there is no sniper within the confines of the base.

As Black approached the Base from it's Eastern side she would see no sign of the sniper. But as she passed the front entrance a few Legaian soldier would spot her, numbering about 7. "Commander Bellerophon. Isn't that girl?"

Bellerophon twisted as he took a hit on his hip from Nybeth's spell. This also caused him to miss his attack. "You're not bad old man." Hearing his men call to him, he looks over by the gate and sees Black.
"Here? Now? Kill her! Shoot the girl!"

The 7 soldiers begin firing at Black.

Caught in a pincer, the Legaian forces have little cover, and take a great deal of damage from the attacks of Athena, her unit, and Savranth.

But Savranth force is soon caught in a pincer as well. "Let's get the little runt and counter this pincer!"

Lyra would see nothing but empty plains from the direction of the shot's sound.

"Tomorrow. Maybe." The receptionist told Tribly. She looked at his hand nervously fidgeting over the wand, curiously.

"No, I believe he left a while back, now. Not sure what happened to him..."

The guards, holding their hands to their ears, look at Envy. "Wait. We just heard you were dead..."

"Obviously not! There's an intruder, I don't know how he's doing it but he's making everyone get conflicting reports, come on!" said Envy, moving back into the stairwell

Growling a bit at the massive lack of a visual, Yukino turns her attention to the soldiers firing on some intruder. [color=bb66bb] "More people to join the party? Better welcome them just as well as the home team is~!" [/color]

She spins around midair and creates 8 black holes that each fire 1 explosive projectile around the base, while 3 shots headed toward the Eastern gate. Afterward, she summons a clone to grab and throw her onto a nearby rooftop. She rolls as she lands to minimize some of the damage falling from her height would have caused. The clone falls down onto the ground.

Black did her best to try and avoid the fire, getting hit in the leg once and pelted in her coat. her left eye blazed up. "Not the time for jokes..." Black grumbled to Marcus. "I don't know why your shooting me, but I'm not going to stand for it" Black replied to the soldiers, she materialized her arm cannon and fired a few shots back at the soldiers. not enough to kill them but enough to hurt them. Why the hell are they shooting at me She thought as she stepped back a bit from the fire.

Ness looked back at Holly and nodded slightly, blushing a bit. "Yes... I can... but I'm not very good at any off the spells I know... I suppose I could show you what I can do with you want." She added with a faint smile.

Lyra pressed her finger against her ear, speaking into her commbead. "Sniper's either moved or hiding the heat signature. Keep an eye out for possible teleporter, lets not take chances here." On top of Marcus hearing this, Jessica would as well, if she has the comm bead equipped. Lyra then began firing at the soldiers shooting at Black, carefully placing shots at eye level.

Marcus swung out two smart discs, keeping the third in his left hand, pulling his revolver into the right and firing at the soldiers aiming at black. "Sorry, its either jokes or pissing my pants. Don't really have an off switch on that one. Kind of like how I piss myself when I'm scared. No off switch there once it starts. Seriously, just urine, everywhere. I also babble when I'm getting shot at, not a good habit at all really."

Marston grimaces and tugs his horse to a halt. Drawing his Evans Repeater, he took aim and fired at the soldiers attacking Black.

Echo looked excited at the prospect of Ness showing her magic skills.

Glancing over to see Black and Bellerophon's reaction, Nybeth can't help but chuckle. "Are all Legaians so scared of children? Or is this merely a personal hatred?" Taking advantage of Bellerophon's moment of distraction, he stepped back and chanted, "Ripple ye forth in waves of darkness, steal five temples of the soul, to bind them in your blindness!" A wave of dark energy washed over Bellerophon, and he would suddenly find it difficult to make his body cooperate with his mind.

OOC: That was Paralytic Wave.
Basically, it makes the affected target slower and gives the target a 1/4 chance to be unable to take any action at all. Again, GM's discretion at how long it takes to wear off.

Jessica's ears drooped a little as she lost all the enthusiasm the receptionist's previous statement had given her. "Wait, what do you mean you're not sure what happened to him?" She asked curiously.

"Tomorrow? Seriously? I want you to know, I didn't want to have to do this..." Trilby sighed as he drew one of his wands. This one was a pale pink colour, apart from the tip, which was brown, and crystalline.
With an obviously practiced flick of the wrist, a crystal ball popped out of the wand, and landed in the Fighter's free hand. The orb was filled with pink mist, and had a brown key symbol in the center.
Trilby 'aimed' the ball at the receptionist, and furrowed his brow as he began searching for her life's secrets.

Spoiler: This is the symbol, by the way.

I'll give you three guesses which one I mean.

The sniper shoots once more and a soldier dies. The sound comes from the North.

Yukino's attacks coupled with the shots from Black, Marston, and Lyra and crew kill all of the soldiers attacking Black.

Seeing the Yukino clone, several soldiers fire at it.

Bellerophon grimaces as he looks to Nybeth. "An annoying bastard aren't you? If you know what's good for you, you'll kill that girl. Even if you manage to defeat us."

The Golems come to aide in the assault on the main force. Athena and her troops continue to assault them, even as Astasis leads a charge on Savrath's troops with the remaining mechs.

With his unit under attack from Astasis, Savranth charges the man with a shield up. To his surprise, Astasis shoots at him and the bullets start breaking through his shield. What? He quickly runs to the side using high speed movement magic.

The two soldier look at each other, then to Envy. "Well, you should report that to the command. They need to know that."

Black dismisses her arm cannon and runs away from the battle. There is something fishy going on here...

Marston quickly rides after Black, hoping to avoid any further detection or conflict.

"I'll do that." said Envy before retreating down the stairs. Once he was on the bottom floor he flew up behind the two guards, transforming behind them and attempting to stab the two in the back.

Nodding toward both Holly and Echo, Ness digistructs her glove and slips it on her right hand. She takes a moment to breathe before slowly standing feet shoulder width apart and extending her gloved hand forward, away from the girls. She closed her eyes as a white magic circle began to glow under her and a ball of light formed in front of her extended hand.

Smirking as the ball was completed, she tosses it up in the air and mimics a gun with her hand, shooting a small beam of red light at the ball. It explodes into a huge spectrum of colored sparks and lights above her and the two girls that slowly start to fall around the girls. She smiles and sighs a bit in relief. "Oh good... I can still do that at least... Let's see what else I can remember..."

Yukino smirks as the soldiers fire on her clone, allowing it to soak up all the bullets. Soon enough, the VEEEEEEEEE! is heard and the clone creates a rather small explosion, kicking up dust everywhere. Using this, Yukino hops off the roof over the soldiers and holds her scythe with both hands, stretched way back.

[color=bb66bb] "HEEEELM-U BREAAAKAAAA~!!" [/color] She shouts rowdily as she swings the scythe down, sending her entire form crashing down on the soldiers. When the scythe hits the ground, a pillar of black energy would shoot up covering a small area around the foxgirl.
