The receptionist looked at the pink crystaline ball that was floating in front of her. "Umm... I'm going to have to ask you to put that away." she said to Trilby with a worried frown.

Nybeth chuckles once again at Bellerophon. "If she's truly something to be afraid of, perhaps I shall." He replied in a tone showing more amusement than gravity. "But first there's the issue of dealing with you." He said to Bellerophon as he swung his walking stick at the man's head like a club. His swing would carry a surprising amount of strength for what would expect from an old man.

"Oh. Okay. Thank you very much." Jessica replied to the receptionist as she glumly walked out of the hospital. Well if he was attacked I suppose there's one other place I could try and get information from. She thought to herself as she went over to the main government building in the center of Fourside.

Yukino's exploding clone killed a few soldiers as the sniper shot once more. The sound coming from the East.
Her attacks killed a few more, but also made her an obvious target for the mech with Astasis as they fired on her.
Bellerophon was slugish due to the effects of Nybeth's spells, but he managed to put up his spear in defense. "Be sure to do that." He replied, coldly. Pushing back, he dropped it, as he spun to sweep the old wizard's legs with his spear as it teleported into his hand. But, due to the effects of the spell he was under, he stopped short. Damn
Athena and her troops continued pushing on the main force. But with the assault from the mech's Savranth unit was scattering to find cover, but stuck in a sort of funnel.
Savranth charges Astasis from the side, crossing his blade with the man's rifle bayonet.
"Who are you? How can you use magic and tech, boy?"
"None of your business." He said pushing on Astasis with enhanced strength, but not managing to budge the man.

After reading the information, the panther beastkin, Ardimas, stands. "Let's mobilize an airship, Estella. There could be a riot in progress. We shouldn't allow that to occur."
Estella nods. "I'll inform the men, sir." She says walking off.

She announced like a stereotypical magician, before focusing and taking the stance again, the magic circle lighting up under her. This time she faced Echo and Holly as they would notice a magic circle under them, similar to the one under her.
After a few moments, the two girls would notice small butterfly wings on their backs, made of white light. Ness smiled a bit as she finished, though she looked a bit beat after that. "That will only last for a little while... but you should be able to fly around with those. Make sure to try to land once the wings start flickering."

"Sorry for wasting your time. I hope everything turns out okay for you and your gentleman friend." he said, sincerely. Why are they never fucking interesting people, like enemy soldiers, or their siblings? It's always just some random dude. Not telling a friend that isn't secret-keeping, that's absentmindedness.

With Bellerophon finding himself stunned, Nybeth took the opportunity to back off and put some distance between him and the man. This banter is beginning to tire me. I'll deal with this one later. "Accursed ye wyrm of the cold earth, spew forth miasma, stony breath!" Nybeth chanted as he spun around and pointed his stick at the base of Bellerophon's feet. A small cloud of grey gas burst forth from the ground under Bellerophon. Whatever the gas would touch would seem to undergo almost instant fossilization and be turned into stone.

Yukino's attack damaged the mech, forcing it to take a knee. It aimed to fire on her once more.
Bellerophon jumped back and tripped due to the lingering magic effect of Nybeth. But a few of his soldiers were hit as they came to protect him. Damn, this old fool's spell is messing with me. I've got to regain control of my body.
Standing up, Bellerophon threw his spear at Nybeth once more.
Yukino's attack momentarily stopped the push to fall back by the Legaians, as the Xiphatians regrouped a few shield users standing to guard as much as they can against the mech fire.
Savranth broke away from Astasis and threw a fire ball at the man as he did so. The attack had little effect on his armor, though as Astasis brought up his rifle to fire on him.

"Oh. As far as I know some Xiphatian spy attacked him. The Air force sent a ship to intercept him, but he vanished. As for the man who was attacked... I don't think we ever found that one." The receptionist replied.

Hearing that they were being broken out the prisoners began to riot and generally cause a ruckus.

Ardimas and Estella board an airship.
"Hopefully, this is just a false alarm."
"If it isn't?" Estella asked.
"It's troubling... Make no mistake, we are on the defensive in this war. Blake's actions..." The beastkin seemed to grow angry.
"Sir, are you okay?"
"No. It's nothing. The King's decisions are final after all."
As Ardimas and Estella entered the bridge, Estella addressed them. "Prepare for takeoff."
After a moment, it begins to take off into the sky.
