"Yeah, yeah. Now would you leave? You've been asked enough times." the soldier said to Trilby, pushing Trilby towards the exit with persistantly. He didn't paticularly pay much much attention to the image in the sphere, seeing only a vague image out of the corner of his eye.

The receptionist hmm'd as she sat back down behind her desk, still looking quite worried.

Rita was still heading to Holadino

Envy called out to the prisoners "People people, if you do not cooperate, I doubt you will have freedom! Now, while we have the advantage of surprise, half of you take the East Wing, the other take the West Wing, then converge on the North Wing. There are 200 of us now, but we will have a far greater shot at freedom with all 800 of us! We need all of us to pull this off, now hurry, before help arrives! I'll work on an exit, hurry!" Envy then went to the stairwell, we he began to dig a tunnel. He hoped to find a sewer.

"Well sorry for not listening when I was BLACKED OUT!" Trilby retorted, as he walked over to Ness.
"That went better than expected." he grinned.

Not wasting a moment, Yukino slashes a black explosive fireball toward the mech before rolling into cover, nursing her leg as she does. She slowly chants something under her breath to try to help heal the bullet wounds. [color=bb66bb] Ugh.... Annoying as this is, it's still something to do... [/color]

Ness looks over toward Trilby and can't help but giggle a bit. "You call getting kicked out 'better than expected'? You must've had some really low expectations." As Echo and Holly land, she sighs in relief before hugging and beginning to escort the two girls back to the inn.

"I've been kicked out of lots of places by the police. My ship, black market auction houses, police stations... you name it." Trilby replied. "The places I don't get kicked out of... well, let's just say it's because there's nobody around to kick me out."

Ness nods, a look of understanding on her face. "I see. Just a fair warning, the military is basically everywhere in this country... and the other to the south. I'd hate to see you jailed, so please try not to do anything overly rash."

"Trust me, I'm trying. There's this other guy from the place I'm from and 'overly rash' is basically his default setting. It's probably why those guys aren't too fond of me..." Trilby explained. He spotted one of the posters of Shadow, and grinned. "Heh, there he is. Looks like he's popular!"
He suddenly looked at Ness, as if he'd just remembered something very important.
"Oh yeah, they said you can visit your friend tomorrow. They also said they only hold guilty people, which probably doesn't bode too well. And the receptionist has a secret beau. She must've seen him in my crystal ball, which is why she got me kicked out. So, we can always blackmail her in an emergency."

Having his vision of Bellerophon somewhat blocked by the cloud of fossilizing gas, Nybeth had a delayed reaction to having the spear tossed at him once again. In trying to back away from it, he wound up causing it to pierce into his leg. He fell over and groaned with pain. "Will you simply die already?!" He spat as he pointed his walking stick at Bellerophon and cast Word of Pain at him once again.

Jessica groaned in annoyance. "So, you don't have any idea where the man who was attacked went? He just...dropped right off the map after that?" She asked.

Ness put her hand to her chin as she looked at the posters all around the town. "Well... what did your 'friend' do to deserve such attention?" Turning back to Trilby, she smiled a bit at the news. "Ah. I can see her tomorrow? That's fine, I can wait... As for blackmailing the receptionist, we'll need to be smart about how we go about doing so... if the need arises. Threatening a government official may get us thrown in the cells as well. I'm sure we both want to avoid that." She stated as the group entered the Spice Rack. Echo and Holly both ran up and went to sleep in their rooms.

Once more the sniper fires. This time the sound comes from the West.

Yukino's follow up attack destroyed the mech.

Bellerophon performed a dodge roll to avoid the attack, but grimaced as his previous injury acted up. "Because I'm fighting for my country, even if I have to follow a jerk and fool. What about you?"

The soldiers continued to battle it out, as the mech started moving forward to push the shield magic users back and allow their comrades to regroup.

As Astasis fired, Savranth created a shield, but the bullets quickly ripped through it, hitting him in several places as he used high speed movement magic to move left and quickly fired his pistol at Astasis.

Envy would find that the floor was tough to dig through.

Envy shrugged "You don't have to listen to me, but think about it. If there are 200 of you it will be easier for the troops to bring you back, but if all 800 of you were free, you have a much better shot of getting out of here. Or, you could go back in your cells, but I thought you'd like freedom more" He continued to try and crack the ground

"He killed two guards then ran away, just the other day. He got about 70 guys hunting for him..." Trilby chuckled. Then, his happy expression vanished, replaced by one closer to boredom.
"Honestly, I only want to blackmail her to find out what the big deal is. From what I gathered, he lives in a city nearby, and is a completely average guy. Not exactly something that would make you panic." Trilby explained. "And being locked up doesn't really bother me any more."

Ness nods a bit, then pauses before slamming her fist into her palm. Something had clicked for her. "Did.. you say her lover a city nearby? Would it be the one on the other side of this lake? These two countries are at war and that city is on the opposing side... Lovers despite the countries' animosity toward each other. Cute but somewhat sad... That would explain her reaction..."

Yukino kept herself under cover and tending to her wounds as she sends out a clone to jump into the heat of the fray. It slashes at a Legaian soldier near the center of the group.

Nybeth grimaced as he pulled the spear out of his leg. He reached into his robes and pulled out another plant frond, this one colored an odd shade of blue. He impatiently plucked a few leaves and shoved this in his mouth to chew on them, sighing a bit as his pain was relieved and he could stand again as his leg wound slowly stopped bleeding. "Countries come and countries go, fighting solely for them is little more than pointless. Currently we clash as part of a financial arrangement I've made with the Xiphatians. Aside from what I personally gain from this conflict, I care little for it." Since Bellerophon had given him pause he took advantage of the moment to breath in deeply and focus his mind in an attempt to regain some of his spell-casting ability.

"Alright. Well thanks anyway." Jessica replied to the receptionist as she walked out of the building, practically sulking to herself on her way out. To hell with this damn city. She thought to herself with a sigh as she made her way towards the alleyway.

OoC @Furioso: The reason nothing to that extend was stated because I figured you wanted something to happen, since you didn't just say "And then Rita arived at Holadino" yourself. But without further ado...

And then Rita arived at Holadino. Save for the various machine working still on cultivating the land, the town was quiet in the late hours.

Entering the dragon den, Loki woke Fafnir up, the dragon not appreciating this very much and responding with a snarl. After letting Fafnir calm down, Loki took the reins then lightly tugged on them. "Rise, Fafnir." he said, walking backwards. With a soft grunt, Fafnir stood up. After nuzzling her young for a moment, Fafnir followed Loki's lead.

"Well, they meet on the shore of the lake... so, I'd assume so. I guess that makes more sense." Trilby replied, slightly zoned-out.
"Ah, well. I guess I'll just have to find another mystery to kill time." the Fighter continued. He glanced curiously at Ness, as if he was trying to get a read on her, then shrugged.

Ness noted Trilby's stare and simply smiled in response. "So you like to solve mysteries, hm Mist- uh... Trilby? Maybe you can help me with one I've been attempting to figure out as well..." She remembers that her glove is still on and decides to digitize it back into her belt storage.
