Yukino barely has time to register the massive effing tank in time to dodge its gun, but the force of the blast shot her pretty far away. She slides across the garage floor and recovers with minor rugburns on her arms. Growling a bit and keeping herself cloaked, she starts charging up energy into her scythe. Her breathing is a bit ragged from all the work she's done, but she keeps her eyes focused on the tank, ready to let loose on it. [color=bb66bb] Oh... weeeeell. This just got interesting... [/color]
"Well at least you got to do that much." Jessica replied, almost sounding irritable. "I went down to Granite Pass looking for someone I heard about a couple weeks ago, got sent over to Fourside on another lead, then the trail goes completely cold. I've no idea where to look now." She answered Ness, mentioning that she had gone to Fourside with about as much enthusiasm as one would describe a time when they received food poisoning. Her ears twitched a little as she asked, "I don't ever remember you telling me you could actually do magic. What kind of stuff can you do?"

The crow nearly began flipping out at the sight of the tank, even more so when it blasted its way out of the garage it was located in. After it calmed down, it landed on the tank, perching itself near the hatch as it looked it over.

The soldier brought his hand to his earpiece again. "He'll be coming from the mountains to the north-east." after another moment's silence, the soldier looked back down at Rita. "Alright. That's been taken care of. I hope for the sake of you and your 'master' this little experiment goes well."
After a few moments, another soldier carrying a rocket launcher on his back left the main building and headed in to town to inform the few civilians who were still awake, then headed to the edge of town to await Loki's arival. Not believing the story, the soldier sat down and lit a cigarette.
Taking a moment to calm Fafnir, Loki lead her closer to Holadino, the dragon growing more restless with each step. He and Fafnir were now within visible distance.
After a few moments, another soldier carrying a rocket launcher on his back left the main building and headed in to town to inform the few civilians who were still awake, then headed to the edge of town to await Loki's arival. Not believing the story, the soldier sat down and lit a cigarette.

OoC: @Salty, ok sure, but that's why he put it inside the stairwell behind a wall and door, and not right in front of the entrance.
Envy continued to run down the sewers, making turns as he went, not really sure where he was going. If the prisoners knew what was good for them they would have split up.

Ness scratched her head slightly as she digistructed her glove and put it back on again. "I can only really do supporting and healing spells... even then, mine aren't that anywhere near as strong compared to some of the people I know back at home." She replied in a bit of a jealous tone as she took her stance, causing the magic circle to light up under her.
Soon enough, she held a ball of light in her gloved hand, which she tossed to Jessica. She may find that the ball was a bit squishy and malleable, almost like it was a ball of glowing Play-Doh. "That ball works as a light source... or a distraction if you puncture it with another beam of light. ...Oh! Do you do any other magic aside from teleportation, Jessica?" Ness asked, a bit interested.

Yukino continues to follow the tank from behind, no longer able to keep her cloak up as she charges more power into her scythe.
Soon enough, she held a ball of light in her gloved hand, which she tossed to Jessica. She may find that the ball was a bit squishy and malleable, almost like it was a ball of glowing Play-Doh. "That ball works as a light source... or a distraction if you puncture it with another beam of light. ...Oh! Do you do any other magic aside from teleportation, Jessica?" Ness asked, a bit interested.

The soldier who sat watching the north-east dropped his cigarette when he saw Fafnir being lead along. "Well I'll be damned..." as a precaution, the soldier retrieved the rocket launcher and laid it down besides him where he could quickly pick it up should the need to do so arise.
Not wanting to be any closer to Holadino, Fafnir placed her feet firmly on the ground, placing her weight on her front legs, tail raised in the air and her wings spread out slightly. Seeing that attempting to lead Fafnir along further would do more harm then good, Loki sighed and sat down, still holding on to the leash.

The crow that was perched atop the tank was suddenly engulfed in a black cloud of smoke. After the smoke cleared, Nybeth was sitting atop the tank. Had Nybeth not seen Astasis enter the tank, he'd have had no idea to try and pry open the hatch, which is what he set about doing.

Lyra raised her eyebrows at the tank, and began moving away from the battlefield. "Lets hope it doesn't notice us..."
Ness smiled faintly as she made a motion for Jessica to throw the ball up above. "Throw it up high, and I'll show you." She tilted her head a bit at what Jessica had said about her magic. "Interesting... I'd like to learn a little more about the telepathy thing by seeing it in action, but if it's something that would tax you horribly like that no-circle teleport did, I won't ask."
She turned her attention toward the sky suddenly. "So you have an affinity toward Psionic magic? That's... a bit odd to me, no offense. We have an entire system back home for classifying people's natural magic talents, but I've yet to see someone specialize in teleportation."

Seeing the tank approach, Athena turned to the squad she was leading ."Spread out and trap that thing in a pincer attack!" she commanded a force of 15 soldier. "The rest of you, hold the line with me!" with that said, she charged up her weapon in preperation for another spell to be used for either attack or defence while she and the troops moved to cover. The troops that had been ordered to do so broke off and began to spread out, moving along any cover they could find. In turn, Legaian troops began opening fire on those who broke off.
Nybeth would have a hard time opening the hatch of the tank, as it was sealed from the inside. Moving the tank towards the battle, Astasis aimed the main cannon at the golems who were closing in on Legaian forces. While the cannon charged, Astasis locked on to a building where Xiphatian troops were taking cover with one of the tank's secondary weapons. On the back of the tank, two hatches opened, from which a dozen missiles were launched at the building.
Three turrets that were mounted on the eastern wall began firing on Yukino. Two turrets fired bullets, the the third one fired lasers in a slow sucsession then the ballistic turrets.

After that attack, she managed to dodge the lasers, but the bullets from the turrets tore up her left leg again. She dragged herself into cover the best she could as blood began to flow out of her leg.

"It's not that much of a strain." Jessica replied to Ness reassuringly. "The worst thing that would happen would be that I would get a headache if I tried to use Telepathy for too long. And then I'd just have to stop since I wouldn't be able to focus enough anymore."
She nodded at Ness and said, "Well, technically where I come from all 'natural' magic is a form of Psionics. It's all done with the mind, so that's what we refer to it as. And it's not just teleportation I can do. I can actually do all sorts of things related to how objects travel through time and space, but it just so happens that teleportation is the easiest and most useful one to apply most of the time."
After she finished speaking, Jessica did as Ness instructed and tossed the ball into the air.

Groaning at his inability to pry open the tank hatch, Nybeth fell off the tank with a controlled tumble and rolled as he hit the ground, landing behind the vehicle, obviously waiting until Yukino was done with her cutting antics to do so. Nybeth pointed his walking stick at the base of the tank and cast Poison Cloud, causing a massive green cloud of smoke to explode out from under the tank and engulf it. Unless the tank was completely air-tight, some toxic fumes were bound to leak into the interior where Astasis sat.
She nodded at Ness and said, "Well, technically where I come from all 'natural' magic is a form of Psionics. It's all done with the mind, so that's what we refer to it as. As the ball flew up, Ness used her gloved hand to shoot a small laser, hitting the ball dead center and creating the massive colorful explosion above the two. The colored lights and sparks slowly rained down over them as Ness looked toward Jess a bit starry eyed. "Oh... I see... Well, if you're alright with it, could you use your telepathy on me?"
She nodded a bit more as Jessica explained. "Hm... All magic stems from the mind in your world? Then it does make a lot of sense to call them Psionics. Where I'm from, magic power comes from the 'soul', or more accurately... a network of channels inside your body and a sort of centerpoint where things get processed to become magical energy... or SP as people call it back home."
