Rose tilted her head a bit. "...I'm... sorry to hear that that had happened to you. Though at least being able to talk with women is a plus... I suppose."

OoC: Done for tonight.

"Eh it's fine. At least she didn't shoot me. And talking to women is almost always a plus. Almost." Axton said. Normally he didn't put so much effort into hitting on people, but he figured that since she didn't seem replused by him and he had little better to do, he might as well see where he could get with the woman.

Past Tense:

Sibylla nodded back to Rose, though she didn't give her a smile in return, then turned back around and slithered off into the forest to be by herself for a while.
The man who had harassed Ness would receive a hard straight punch with the strength of a heavyweight boxer to the jaw from the side for his troubles.

Rose blinked a bit before shrugging. "If you say so." She paused for a moment before looking back to Axton. "Wait.... you say that like your exes normally shoot at you..." She tilted her head a bit more. "Maybe you're trying to stick your dick in too much crazy?"
The man, who had been snickering like a little schoolgirl, slid halfway across the length of the diner before falling unconscious from the punch to his side. Since it was a slower time for the diner, there weren't many others in attendance, but most knew that the man had deserved what he got, and so said nothing. Even the cook looking over didn't bother to say anything. Ness delivered her last few orders before looking toward the person who had clocked her assailant, skating over toward them after a moment or two.

"Tsk, lucky for him he's such a lightweight." Not gonna kick a chump while he's down. The person clocking the rude man muttered to themselves, placing their hands on their hips. Ness could see the person was a woman of average height and rather skinny build. She wore a pair of beige slacks with a white blouse tucked in into them. She had a simple black leather belt through the loops of her pants, and wore a pair of nice enough, though not terribly so, black dress shoes. Poking out of the top of her shoulder-length brown hair was a pair of triangular shaped ears covered in black fur, and she had a long and slender tail covered in the same fur poking through a small hole in her pants.

Ness paused for a moment or two before smiling as she skated up and stopped in front of the catgirl, her smile increasing as gave the person a hug. "Thanks for that." She said before looking back to the man, now struggling to get back onto his feet.

"Closing time, Sinclair. Don't need to go home, but you can't stay here. That goes for all of you!" The cook said as he turned away from the door. Other patrons began to finish up their food as well as Ness sighed and stretched herself out a bit before looking back toward the catgirl. "So, what brought you here? I thought you were busy with some other work." The woman asked as she began to unlace her skates.

The catgirl smiled as Ness hugged her and shut her dark circle-laden eyes as she returned the hug. "Eh, no problem. Prick was asking for it." She replied, sighing happily.

The woman hummed to herself for a moment, trying to think of what to say. "Partly business." She settled on saying initially. "Since I technically have the most experience with this place out of any of my people, my superiors thought it would be best to have me try and come to an agreement with whoever runs the place." She sighed and shifted her weight onto her right side, setting her left hand back on her hip and letting her right arm idly dangle by her side. Her metallic right hand was clearly visible, made of sleek, polished grey metal, with a circular inlay of what looked like gold on the back of the hand. "So yeah, still busy with work, in a way. What about you?"

After a while, Ness shook the wheeled shoes off and pulled out a PDA in a pocket of her uniform and began to tap a few buttons on a hologram that popped up as she turned the device on. "Well, I was just trying to extend my dimensional network's scope for the most part. I ended up here mainly by chance... but given how diverse this place is, I stayed back to observe and hopefully find out how heavy the dimensional traffic flow here. I've been here once but I had no idea the operation was at this scale."

After another tap, a folded up outfit materialized in a flash of blue light onto the woman's lap along with a pair of black work shoes with white metal toes resting on top. She gave the catgirl a warm smile as she stood up. "But this is a more than welcome surprise either way. I don't think you'll have too much trouble meeting up with the president, I certainly didn't." She stated as she walked toward the exit, humming a small bit as she did.
Rose tilted her head a bit. "Or the pool you're choosing from might be a little bad. You did say that being romantic seemed not to be high priority where you're from."

"Yeah, maybe. Military folks like me and my ex weren't very romantic. But hey, maybe I'll have better luck around here. At least all the buildings aren't dirty, crumbling, ramshackle hovels." Axton said.

Rose shrugged once more as she looked up toward the ceiling. "Very true... And I'm sure there are a few girls around who like the militaristic type. ...Actually, I think I know one..."

Wheaton looked to Thrall, and let him speak first. Thrall looked to Sibylla, and considered how to word his reply. "You seem a tad bit overly reactive. Calming yourself would help us all stay calm. That is all I ask."

Wheaton would wait for the two to finish their conversation. Meanwhile, he handed phones and immigration cards over to the two Orks following Thrall, who quickly began picking their teeth with the cards.
Every group member that held a card would have their cards vibrate and begin glowing green.

Samus, still sat in the dorm, noticed a green glow coming out of the slot in her armour where the card was kept. She took the card out, putting her helmet back on and examining the glowing card.

When Gideon made his way to the mall, he had taken off his coat, but not trusting his coworkers enough to leave his wallet in the pocket, had taken it out and instead slipped it into the left pocket of his trousers.

When the card began vibrating, Gideon didn't feel the vibrations coming from it, and it took him a while before he heard the buzzing noise produced by it. When he did notice it, Gideon stopped his cleaning of the floor on the ground floor of the mall, and looked around with a sligtly puzzled expression on his face, not imediately realizing where the buzzing noise came from. When he did realize, he reached for his wallet with a more puzzled expression, and opened it, seeing the card glow. So that's what's up. He looked at the card for a little longer, before finding one of hos co-workers and asking them what colour the card was glowing. Being told it was green, Gideon thanked the coworker, closed the wallet again, and slipped it back in his pocket. Knowing green meant that the call wasn't urgent, Gideon continued his work.

Remembering the meaning of the green glow, Samus stood, heading out of the dorms and back to the teleporter. She had been looking for something to do anyway, so she might as well check this out.

As Axton leaned closer, Rose leaned back an equal amount. "...Let's not be hasty, shall we?" She said, crossing her arms. She looked over toward Axton's growing card and raised an eyebrow. "Looks like you've been summoned. Oddly enough, I was going down to the biodome, but this will stop at the dorms before then. Remember, Wheaton's office is higher up from there."

After Gideon had left, Amelia had decided to take on the cook job, though she held onto the errand runner flier for a while longer. The first day was a little hard on the girl but she managed to perform adequately, despite having to struggle with ingredients from other worlds and impatient customers. The restaurant she worked in wasn't all that spectacular or clean, but she enjoyed herself all the same, seeming to have a bit more of a swagger to her step afterward. She had made it home and was pulling out the last few weeds in the monk's vegetable garden as her card began to glow. (...What did... green mean again? ..Not urgent, but something, right?)
Ness jolted a small bit as she noticed her visa vibrating, nearly dropping her clothes due to the surprise. She sighed silently as she recovered and noted the green color of the card's glow before continuing on her way. (...What horrible timing...)
Carmen blinked as her card woke her from a light sleep. She looked it over before scoffing to herself and placing it back in between her breats. She turned over and closed her eyes once more.

Samus inwardly sighed as she noticed the teleoprter's state, then doubled back, looking for the stairs or elevator up.
