Carmen chuckled as she noticed Mary's little quip before giving Fredrick a grin. [color=bb0066] "If that's the case, we're definitely not having lessons in my house." [/color] She sighed before stretching her arms over her head and laying her back on the cafeteria table. [color=bb0066] "But yes, I'm willing to teach you for free. You'll just owe me a little favor afterward. Is that fair?" [/color]

[color=666666] "Ah.... So it was just bad timing then. ...Then that means this dissenting group is still lurking around then, doesn't it?" [/color] Ness asked next, giving Roz a more sympathetic look as she took another bite of her salad. More questions began to form in her head as she thought more on the situation and this would show on her face.

Mary just looked at Carmen, wondering what she was up to if anything.

The Lunchlady suddenly turned revealing a multi-tentacled purple creature. "Behind the counter... BEHIND THE COUNTER! GET BEHIND THE COUNTER!" it shlurped, tentacle mouth working furiously.

"Probable. They wouldn't risk it though." Adam explained from Rozlynn's mouth. "So, are you going to apologize for killing father, or is this one of those things where I have to force the issue?" Rozlynn gasped in her own voice, slapping her hands over her own mouth. After a moments delay, she said "Could you uh... Ignore that last bit?" she squeaked, blushing.

Ness shook her head toward Roz, her initial surprise at the sudden change in voice hidden. [color=666666] "....No, no... That other voice of yours is right..." [/color] She sighed for a moment before taking off her hat and bowing her head toward the girl. [color=666666] "All I can do is apologize for that happening and I can only hope you'll forgive me for doing something so horrible to you." [/color] Her voice was sincere though her expression was hidden.

After a moment or two, she looked back up. [color=666666] "I wouldn't underestimate a group's desperation... How did they end up attacking you?" [/color]

Carmen chuckled once more before giving the duo a dismissive wave. [color=bb0066] "It's not anything like killing people or loaning me money. It could be as trivial as just answering a question or two and at worst doing a little research about the city for me." [/color] She sat back up and stood up, wings spreading out as she spun to face them. [color=bb0066] "So then... now that you know this, are you willing to study under me?" [/color]

Rozlynn seemed to sit there awkwardly blushing for a moment. "Yes, they attacked in a public area. They shut the power down, lobbed assassins at us, and when the power came back up, several bystanders started swearing that we attacked the assassins. Grubbers even tossed a high ranking politicians kid at us, to stir up drama."

The Lunchlady lurched forward. "Good, good... STAY ON YOUR SIDE! Now, what can I do for you?" she asked, now sounding calm and polite.

A man in full body armor, wearing cloth over his head, burst into wheezing laughter, pointing at Seras. "Lunch lady... Rookie's mistake..." He managed to wheeze out.

Seras kept a good distance away from the creature as she tried to get over it's revolting appearance. "I-I-I was wondering i-if you had any h-h-human blood I could drink? I'm a v-vampire you see." she said, speaking softly to try and prevent other people from hearing her.

Carmen grinned as she shook Fredrick's hand. He might feel a small bit unnerved as he touched her hand. [color=bb0066] "Then we're agreed." [/color] She said as she gave Fredrick a wink with the handshake. [color=bb0066] "Anytime you want to have a lesson..." [/color] She dug her other hand into her cleavage and produced a small red key from within. [color=bb0066] "Just take this key and slide it into any door. Afterward, turn it and open it. It's more magic and just take my word that it'll move you to a place where we'll be able to practice without many worries." [/color]

Ness frowned as she listened. [color=666666] "Well then... This all makes sense." (Provided what you're saying is true....) [/color] She placed a hand on Roz's shoulder and gave her a small smile. [color=666666] "Honestly, I don't think that you have any reason to be embarrassed. You handled the situation the best that you could and.... things just didn't go well. Don't blame yourself." [/color]

Fredrick took the red key and took his monical out to look at it. [color=F87217]"I see...a magic key to open a magic door...how amusing"[/color] he said with a small smile, although he did very well to hide it. But Fredrick felt that taking up such an offer from a Demon might come back to bite him one day.

Fredrick passed the Key for Mary to look after. [color=F87217]"Do tell when you want one of those 'favors' done"[/color] he added.

Mary seemed to study the key, looking for any markings or anything unusual.

"oh, VAMPIRE! No reason to be ashamed girl, I'm a cthulu like entity and I HAVE a job! People even like me! Believe me, acting like vampirism is some big secret just makes it worse! What bloodtype you like?" The Lunchladu shouted, turning and rummaging through her kitchen.

"No, I should be embarassed. I failed my mission." Roz said, becoming withdrawn.

Carmen gave Fredrick a small nod. [color=bb0066] "It seems you've got the premise of the key down at least. Is there anything you want to learn in particular, or do you just want a general run through?" [/color]

As Mary observed the key, she'd notice it was shaped like a skeleton key and could easily fit in one's palm. There would be an insignia of a crescent moon on the flat handle section of the little piece of metal. It gleamed as it seemed to reflect the light of the cafeteria beautifully.

Mary looked at the moon and was quick to hide that part under her thumb, she stroked her fingers over the key before putting the key away safely in her front pocket.
