Ardoris spent a good amount of time inspecting the weapons-some familiar such as the spears, others not so much. He picked up a weapon with flashing lights. "This world has some interesting weapons indeed. What do you call this one?"
Lauren was across the room and moved to grab the weapon out of Ardoris's hands, growling "Do NOT touch my shit. You're getting a bummed ride, not getting to try out my weapons. And I'd damn well prefer it if you didn't touch a weapon that could knock us out of the air with a single misfire. If everyone could avoid plucking weapons off the wall and looking them over, that would be damn lovely." she called this last part out to the entire group, sounding seriously ticked off. she pointed to the apprentice and growled in a language none would know, and he moved to sit with the group.
Link would see a bow in the back, though it was made of metal and composites rather than wood. there were a number of swords and spears as well.
There were a number of seats right before the cockpit, away from the weapons.
"Why would you pick up a group of diplomats in a ship with weapons all over the walls? Seems like an accidend waiting to happen." Axton commented as he found a seat.
Link frowned while hearing Lauren. He was looking forward to a Bow, especially since he lacked any ranged weapon at this point in time. He sat down in the in the cockpit and sharpened his sword, polished his shield, and etc. Although he was doing that mostly out of boredom as his weapons were almost always in top condition.
Amelia idly scratched behind one of her horns as Lauren started to berate everyone, looking down toward the ground once more and beginning to try and imagine what exactly the group was going to get themselves into. (I wonder if they're all as fight crazy as these weapons seem to suggest they are.... I might've made a mistake coming here...)
Ardoris winced from the woman's shouting. "Argh, any more and you'll make me deaf in one ear."
Noticing Link working on his weapons, Ardoris found himself a seat and followed suit. His weapons, those being the tomahawk, knife and rifle saw some wear and tear from previous battles. However, his experience with these particular weapons and their hi-tech adornments were still unfamiliar to him. Ardoris sighed, wondering how and why he ended up so far forward in time.
Samus looked around the predator's ship, the technology fascinating her. She switched to the scan visor, trying to get as many specs and details as she could.
Lauren sighed, and looked at all those 'diplomats' sharpening weapons. "I'm gonna let the genius puzzle out how I assumed a group packing all sorts of weapons somehow would manage to avoid taking one of these weapons and blowing their own legs off." she murmured, annoyed, and went back into the cockpit. Soon after, the vessel started up, and began flying up, quickly putting some distance from the ground.
Despite the sudden acceleration, the group would feel no real force pushing on them.
Rozlynn sat back, reflecting on the coming discussion.
OOC: @FPS What diplomatic group doesn't need a mute warrior on it with an annoying fairy?!
After the ship got into air Link decided that he would finally look up from his weapons. He decided to get out of his seat and stare at the scenery around him in wonder. He actually just figured out that this weird looking carriage thing could fly.
Amelia idly looked out of a nearby window and seemed to be surprised at the realization that the shuttle had taken off. (...Wow... I didn't feel a thing! This must be really high grade or something... So this is what it's like to be fly someplace, huh?) She continued to gaze out of the window at the forest below in child-like awe at the new little experience she was having.
Samus saw the others crowding around the windows, wondering what all the fuss was about due to her being used to ships. She depolarised her helmet visor so her face was visible, the wandered around slowly, inspecting the ship.
Ardoris looked between Samus, Seras and Amelia. He put his weapons away. "So, none of that for you, eh?" He asked the three in general, trying to make small talk.
As the small talk was about to commence, there was a flash of light...
As two people, a young 17 year old girl in red garb, and a 35 year old man in a doctor's coat with a ninja mask, appeared, right near the center of the ship, both gagged and bounded, and both glaring at each other and flailing around, trying to attack the other, screaming through their gags.
"What?" Seras asked Ardoris. She and Axton were both stunned by the flash of light. Neither did anything to stop the fight, simply looking bemused and bewildered by it.
Ardoris arched an eyebrow at the new arrivals and shook his head. This would definitely be one of his longest ventures. He drew his knife out again and went to cut the two from their bindings. "Welcome, you two may cease your struggling now, you're among friends. I'm Ardoris" The Dire Wolf said with a grin.
As two were cut from their bonds, the two began to have a yelling match. "WHY DID YOU KIDNAP ME!" "I DIDN'T GOD DAMN KIDNAP YOUR ASS, YOU KIDNAPPED MINE!"
"OH DON'T LIE TO ME, I KNOW MY MOTHER SET YOU UP TO THIS!" "I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE, PERVERTED FREAK!"
"OH YOU- I'M NOT PERVERTED, WHAT, YOU LIKE PEOPLE WHO ARE TWICE YOUR DAMN AGE!? I'M UNDER THE DAMN INFLUENCE OF ANTI-NINJA DRUGS, I COULDN'T KIDNAP YOU IF I WANTED TO KIDNAPP A TEENAGER!"
"I'M GOD DAMN TWENTY ONE!"
"THEN HOW AM I PERVERTED!
The arguing continued like this for some time until the Ninja proceed to begin pulling the hair out from the woman's scalp while the woman proceeded to try to beat the doctor to death with a baseball bat.
